Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

We had an amazing week at Nether Glenny! The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and endless opportunities for walking right from the cottage. Alison was extremely accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring the beautiful local area. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with fantastic hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to return!

wonderful weekend spent here with our two young children. the private Loch area was lovely and the local village was a wonderful haggis trail which we thoroughly enjoyed! the food at the local pub is also great! the lodge was pristine and well equipped for a relaxing stay. the hit tub was immaculate although I would have preferred it a little more private. I would stay in a different lodge to resolve this in the future. it didn't impact our stay however. everyone from the lovely gentleman at reception and cleaners were extremely friendly and helpful. we couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back!

Stayed at the Lodge with a group.of friends for a weekend, we all had a fantastic time. Mike was incredibly helpful with suggestions for things to do/see in the local area and even provided a contact who could drive us to and from Inveraray. The house is fantastic and in a stunning location with views across the loch. The price for two nights was on the more expensive end and some of the listed features, i.e. the hot tub, cost extra which was the only drawback.

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

The Clyde View cottage was just what we were looking for; rural, a great view, peaceful, a short drive to the Glasgow airport, and a feeling of seclusion. Even though there is a similar cottage on either side, the orientation and fencing give you privacy and a view over the sheep pasture and the River Clyde in the distance, feeling like you are all alone. The interior is tastefully decorated and perfect for two people. The hot tub was ready to use and we availed ourselves of the washing machine also. Make sure that you have time to hang dry your clothes, we didn't and ended up using the hair dryer! It's a quick 15 minute drive to GLA; no more than from downtown Glasgow, and much less traffic. A nice touch was the basket of local snacks and small bottle of prosecco. Cottage was super clean, welcoming and everything seemed very new. Highly recommended! Oregon/Alaska, USA

My partner and I had a lovely time staying in the wee oak tree pod. It was very relaxing weekend and we look forward to our next trip.

Emma is a wonderful helpful host. The flat was ideal for a break in Scotland and served as a good base for exploring. The property was clean and tidy upon arrival, the sofas are very comfy too. Ideally located in Callander, opposite a supermarket with lots of shops, coffee houses and places to eat and drink within walking distance.

We absolutely loved the cottage, the surrounding scenery was breathtaking, everything you could think of was provided. Really easy to follow instructions to light the wood burner, lots of info on local facilities and so pleased to find somewhere so lovely and private to bring our dog on holiday with us. Fantastic accommodation, every conceivable thing you might need for your stay, very well thought out and really well presented, thoroughly recommended!

One of the most beautiful locations in Scotland and Eleanor’s home is in the perfect spot to take it all in. Perfect for a quick walk to the village but still feels private and safe. Close to nature trails for hiking that have incredible views of the Loch. Eleanor herself was very helpful/responsive when we had questions and the neighbours were very welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The view is unbelievable and we had a few animal visitors (red squirrel, various bird species) throughout our stay. We look forward to returning to this wonderful home.

Argyll Retreat is perfect. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place. This was our 4th stay, 2 wks this time. Me, I could quite happily spend the whole time here, just being in nature & watching the various birds & their eating habits. By the way that is a requirement of staying here, you must ensure the Bird feeders are always filled. The birds will come to tell you if you don't! Everything you need here. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom, double bedroom & store room for bags & cases etc. Lounge area is cosy with 2 2 seater settees, coffee table & TV. Best tho is the view from the window here. Looking out towards the Argyll Forest, the mountains, & wildlife. Nearest pub, The Coylet, 5 mins drive. Great food & staff, useful to book. Nearest town, Dunoon. Main rd there's Co-op & further in, Morrisons. Swallows Cafe - lovely food, can get very busy. Shops close on Monday. Boat Shed cafe, rd to Carrick Castle great food, hence gets busy. Inveraray lovely

Stayed at Liz's place on the way to Skye. Liz met us upon arrival and was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The place was perfect and cosy with a comfy bed to recharge before we headed on our travels. Price was fantastic and Liz offered loads of good advice for our trip. Would definitely stay again.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

We loved our stay at Rosie’s, she was very welcoming and friendly, great comms. The views are stunning; and a pint and food in the walkable Black Bull Inn is a must. Incredible view of the night sky if you get lucky with the weather.

The apartment is super clean and really lovely, perfect for a weekend stay in Glasgow. They were super flexible and accommodating with us, and very friendly to communicate with!

Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

This was our second year and we love it even more. Amazing location with 5 star facilities.
