Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

Good sized home for a family to stay in. Very clean and we really like having two bathrooms, not that common in Scotland, bathrooms were also updated and modern. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. We really appreciated the washing machine. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, Victor even left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were a little uncomfortable and could do with replacement mattresses. Good house and value.

The perfect house for our family get together. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, the games room was a hit, as was the hot tub! The house was warm with loads of hot water. Thank you!

Friendly host and a great place to stay with everything you need.

We had a lovely time at Gail’s place. The accommodation was exactly as described, clean tidy and comfortable. Home was within easy reach of local attractions and Glasgow city centre. Plenty of food options within easy reach of the home and the handy guide left by Gail was a great help. Would recommend.

A modern property with a spacious driveway. The two back bedrooms containing single beds are very small, but adequate for a short term stay.

This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Mary's place is a gem of a find. You will have everything you need to hand, it's clear she has thought of everything. Had a great sleep as it super quiet and peaceful. The views are outstanding. Get up early and see that sunrise

Hi, I don’t usually leave reviews but we had a fabulous stay here, host was very helpful. The location was brilliant for what we needed, lovely setting to be able to walk to the harbour. Got the bus into Glasgow city centre which was so easy to use and the bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We felt at home here and felt very comfortable, would definitely recommend if we are ever coming to Glasgow again we know where to stay next time. Thank you so much x

We arrived in the evening and it was great to have the apartment lights and heating already on. A nice welcome! The apartment is modern and well equipped. It is very clean and furnishings and decor are tastefully done. We had a wonderful stay and plan to revisit later this year. Thank you!

Staying at France's place was an absolute dream. It was exactly what my friends and I wanted. Frances was so helpful and had clear instructions for everything we needed such as: Wi-Fi, heating etc. When we arrived there was milk butter and fresh eggs from Frances' own hens. It was such a relaxing time that my friends and I have already booked in for another stay in July. Great price for a great place. I would highly recommend. A1

Perfect location near city center and transportation hub, walkable did not need a car. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was great for cooking meals together with family i would have liked more cooking pans options but that would be my only suggestion. We enjoyed the city and visiting with family!

One of the best places we've stayed. very spacious for our 3 children and us. Very large bedrooms. Travel cot, high chair and toys provided. Washer and dryer. Pretty much anything we needed was there. Very well thought out. Lovely decor. Patio area with BBQ. Comfy beds, great showers and bath. Good towels. Walkable to Stirling castle. Quiet area. Host was friendly and responsive. We had a lovely time.

Patricia was a lovely host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Making homemade bread and leaving butter and milk after a long journey went down a treat! She then showed us where there was a beautiful walk with a scenic waterfall. Patricia radiates warmth which makes you instantly feel at home and in the presence of a second mum. Plus, the photos do not do the view justice. It truly is picture perfect. Thank you for having us 🙏

Comfortable, clean apartment with lovely views from the living area and garden. Showers were very good, beds were comfy and living room was very relaxing after a day on the hills. Great location for hiking & climbing. Wendy was superbly helpful as a host! Only comment to note is the fridge is very small and supermarkets are half hour drive away. Otherwise lovely place to stay.

Highly recommend staying here, hope I can go back soon. Carol was one of the best hosts I’ve encountered - she was incredibly friendly, always communicative (she even wrote down personal recommendations for my visit), and made me feel right at home for my entire stay. The location is a little bit removed from the city - but the views, peacefulness, and friendliness of the host made it completely worth it.

Talk about going an extra mile, Alison does that and many more. It is a real ‘Home from Home’ experience- Alison puts so much effort into making your stay stress free. I stayed there 28th February 2025 for three nights. Myself, my daughter and her two very young boys. Alison provided everything we needed to keep them happy, toys, games etc. The apartment is spotless, we had a little issue with the internet connection, texted Alison and she got back to us straight away with the solution. Only a five minute walk to a lovely play park right by the beach, Pirate Pete which has lots for young ones next to the park too. Town Centre with lots of shops, restaurants etc. within walking distance. Alison puts a lot of effort into making your stay perfect, on arrival there was Tea, coffee, bread, butter and much more, so no need to have to pop to the shop straight away. Alison was the perfect host going above and beyond what you’d normally expect. Would definitely stay there again.

Great flat and great host. It's was about 20 mins walk to Queen Street Station and it's just around the corner from Barrowland which is great for gig-goers. Flat was warm and comfortable, very nice to relax in. Sharon sent detailed instructions and was helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our short stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. Our host were lovely and personable, the space was cozy and clean! The area was wonderful, right next to the ocean where we spent skipping rocks (great rock location to do so). Coffee shop at the Country Store was walkable and they were absolutely lovely, we enjoyed stopping by before our days journey exploring.

Louise was very helpful and quick to respond. We had such a lovely stay so much so we have already booked a return visit. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house warm comfortable and cosy. The lounge was the only area we felt needed updating, the sofas were well past their sell by date and quite shabby. The furniture in that room on the whole was tired. It did not deter from our enjoyment. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. and Louise had very kindly left us a welcome gift. We used the local taxi service to travel about and they were very reliable. As said previously we are returning and would highly recommend. Thank you Louise x
