Really great home, walkable to Hidden Valley in ski boots carrying skis. The house was just as described in the listing and photos were spot on. We chose this house because of the kids room, and it was terrific. Five kids slept there, played card games there, and ate in their own area while parents were able to enjoy ourselves in the kitchen and dining area. The mud room was a big win. When I had a question, the hosts were super fast to respond. The house overlooks the lake and the kids had a great time playing in the surrounds. The house has a large deck and a fire pit, but we did not use them due to weather. One thing to note: the steepness of the driveway should not be underestimated. In winter it will require a four or all wheel drive. I drove it easily, but one family could not get up it, and the other slid the entire way down sideways. That being said, the owners were quick to salt and cinder as necessary, and the neighbor helped us by plowing. Cannot recommend enough!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fairfield House in Ligonier, PA, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with AirBnB. From the moment I arrived, I was charmed by the quaint, picturesque setting and the warm hospitality extended by the hosts. The house itself is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Every room is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The hosts were exceptional in every way. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities, and their genuine care for their guests made my stay truly memorable. Overall, Fairfield House exceeded all my expectations!

We had an absolutely AMAZING time at this home! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool table and the Hot Tub. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. Joshua was also very responsive with any questions I had. I would definitely plan another getaway here!

The cottage is a great quiet place to relax and reset. The hot tub and fireplace were amazing! Definitely would recommend for anyone that wants a quiet and relaxing getaway!

Had a fantastic stay here! Beautiful space, great amenities, clean space, comfortable and clean linens and furniture, nice bathrooms, gorgeous and convenient kitchen. Our whole party had a fantastic stay. We had 6 adults, and it was the perfect amount of space. Hot water heater isn’t huge, so we all took shorter showers and it worked out very well. We didn’t wish for anything during our weekend stay. Everything was clean and easy to use. The space was comfortable and accommodating, even for game nights and movie nights with 6 adults. Check in and check out processes were convenient and simple. Host was very responsive. House rules were sensible and easy to follow. We highly recommend, and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying here. It felt comfortable and very well clean. Keith was extremely helpful from day one and caring as well. If we're ecer back in the area again we will stay here and cant wait to see how the basement turns out. (Keith was explaining that its going to be turned into a game room or family room. Very exciting).

We were super happy with everything and had a very relaxing weekend! Landon was very nice and quick to respond about our questions. Location was great, back in the woods and nicely secluded, with a nice little mountain stream that flowed right beside the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and also the games in the basement. Will consider coming back!

We had an amazing stay at Patty’s place! The house is situated in a nice, quiet area, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Patty was one of the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. The house itself was incredible, with awesome amenities that truly made it feel like a home away from home. Patty went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable—even arranging for someone to plow after a big snowstorm, which was a thoughtful touch. Everything was set up perfectly to help us relax and not worry about a thing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend.
