loved our stay. our host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. the pod and hot tub were lovely, exactly as described and also spotlessly clean with everything you would need. would 100%stay again.

Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

We had everything we needed during our stay! What stood out for us was the location with beautiful views and lots places to walk and cycle. We felt very relaxed after using the hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to visit the Queen Elizabeth forest.

A fantastic place to stay with an amazing hot tub and views of the river and the horses over in the fields. Quiet and so comfortable it was like a home from home. It was exactly as described and in the pictures. We are definitely going to be going back again. Fantastic and we'd give it 100% Diane responded immediately to emails, a wonderful host.

Alice's place was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and left a note in the guest book saying as such. I took my girlfriend away to propose (she said yes). The space was stunning, absolutely beautiful and will hold a very special place in my memory. We really wanted to use the outside bath but didn't have the chance to, so we'll be coming back for a wash at some point.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

This was my second stay at the wigwam. My dog Rufus and I stayed for one night and it’s was such a lovely place to stay. Beautiful walks. Deer and highland cows close by. Quiet peaceful place. Inside and outside cabin was very clean and lovely. Such lovely nice hosts as well especially the wife as she was very helpful informing me of the outside bath and topping it up. Will 100% be back.

This place is very peaceful and private. Hosts were very open and explicit about directions and how things worked. It was clean and quiet. Easy to find and had a designated parking space.

Great wee location , handy for St Andrews where we had lunch. The tower was lovely, we had the weather and were able to sit out the back.

Stephen’s place was a perfect home base for our golf trip. The view is amazing and the cottage was very clean and well furnished.

Lovely stay, the cabin has everything you need and is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of things round about and plenty of amazing dog walks to go on, even better that you can come back and relax in the hot tub after. Really enjoyed my trip, thank you

We had great couple of days here. The weather was amazing so paddle boarding was perfect for the children and the adults! Relaxing by the loch was just lovely, and the lodge was warm and comfortable when it was chilly in the evenings. We loved it here!

Beautiful cabin with post-card picturesque views. It was a true winter wonderland which made for a lovely experience. The heavy snow did mean we chose to not use the hot tub as it does take a while to heat up and we preferred to stay in the warmth of the cabin but that just means we’re keen to come back again to make full use of the cabin and the surrounding things to see/do! Host was helpful and responsive, and all the information ahead of the stay helped us have a stress free trip.

Nice out the way location, private and the enclosed dog park was great, 100% will be back

Great Air B&B in peaceful surroundings. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus. Lovely clean accommodation, kitchen had everything you would need. Shower is wonderful and strong. Beds comfortable. Outdoor area with bench lovely to sit and admire the view. Private beach with access to water was big hit for dogs. Thank you for having us. Will be back.

Great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the city. Easy park and ride into Edinburgh. The surroundings are stunning, a great place to wake up to! There were plenty of walks but we didn’t end up doing any of them as we had walked for hours in Edinburgh and couldn’t face anymore hilly walks!

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

We stayed for 3 days in April. The lodge was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is great with views across the fields and Pentland hills. It's a relaxing place to stay and would be a great base for walking or cycling in the Pentlands. We stayed to escape the city for a few days but the location is only 30 minutes from Edinburgh town centre and would be a good base to combine a town and country escape. Thoroughly recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Had a fabulous stay in this gorgeous comfortable caravan, had everything you needed, very clean and spacious, lovely quiet location, great decking area with comfortable seating, would highly recommend, great place to stay, was sad my holiday went so fast. Fantastic.

Das war bereits mein zweiter Besuch in dieser wunderschönen Hütte, und wie letztes Jahr habe ich auch dieses Mal den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Pat ist die perfekte Gastgeberin, man wird herzlichst empfangen, bekommt tolle Empfehlungen für die Umgebung, sie ist immer gut und schnell erreichbar und erkundigt sich, ob alles in der Unterkunft in Ordnung ist. Die Hütte hat alles, was man braucht, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön und ruhig, perfekt zum Relaxen. Ich werde bestimmt wiederkommen, es fühlt sich schon wie ein zweites Zuhause an!

We had a wonderful stay. There is nothing we would want more. The Birch Lodge is very comfortable and spacious. The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it was our second time at the Lodge we are already planning our next visit. Thank you for having us. Joanna and Mariusz

Fantastic place to stay, very comfortable and great hosts. I spent 2 months here whilst working in the local area and was a fantastic place to unwind in the evenings and relax.

Such a lovely stay, hoping to come back in a few months for a long weekend. Kids and adults happy :)
