I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Green Apple A-Frame, and it was an unforgettable experience! The decor was charming and thoughtfully arranged, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The cleanliness of the rental was impeccable, making me feel right at home. The peaceful surroundings provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We enjoyed walking through the trees, cooking steaks on the grill, relaxing around the fire pit, and soaking in the hot tub. The comfort of the accommodations allowed me to relax fully and recharge. What truly stood out was the incredible host. They were exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. Overall, I highly recommend the Green Apple to anyone seeking a serene getaway. It’s the ideal spot for those in need of relaxation.

Very peaceful and pretty up on the mountaintop. Definitely needed the 4x4!! Would love to come back soon and bring the kids.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at the house over Spring break and had plenty of space. The cabin was located perfect for our crystal digging adventures. After digging, we would come back and clean the crystals on the back porch watching the sun set. The hot tub was small, but it worked out. We rotated small groups at a time. The inside of the house was open and inviting. We could all be in the same space or retreat to our rooms if needed. It had everything that we needed, minus food, which helps when traveling.

This place was sooo adorable! Great for younger couples to go relax in what feels like the middle of the woods but only like a minute drive to down town. On Google maps it does tell you to turn the wrong way when turning into driveway just look for the house#. The hot tub was amazing watching the sun go down in the evening it was perfect after a long day of hiking. Also a nice table top firepit was a wonderful touch when it was getting cool. The hammock swings were nice too. Kitchen and bath had all amenities you would need. Stairs are cool and windy, we are smaller people so it was totally fine even when having to go down to pee in darkness too there is a non slip texture on them. Fan noises were a little loud but can be turned off. Some ppl love that. Thankfully it was cool so they weren't needed and I like to sleep with temp low. Bed was comfortable and sheets were a high thread count. Overall everything about this place was comfortable, peaceful, and inviting!

We felt right at home! The cabin was clean and cozy. It was about 20min from the touristy things which was perfect! Christopher gave great directions and instructions. We would definitely stay again!

My husband & I celebrated our 43rd anniversary and we enjoyed our stay even if it did rain. The back porch was great to sit in the rocking chair and watch the rain! Thank you, Rita!

Tucked into beautiful and secluded area. Cabin was a great way to escape the city life. My kids and dog loved the space and the ability to venture around in the area. Laura had great communication. Loved it! Thanks again!

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Very private and secluded which I loved. My dog had plenty of room to play. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Overall, we had a great time.

We loved this Airbnb, it’s perfect for two guests + pets. The backyard was beautiful and so enjoyable and the house itself was clean. The inside shower did have low water pressure but the outside shower was perfect. The check out instructions were a little confusing, as the online and physical book instructions were different. It does lack a TV, which makes relaxation at night a little difficult. The location is very nice as it’s close to downtown, but far enough away to feel private. Overall, it was super enjoyable and perfect for our vacation.

Peaceful, private and beautiful views - just what we were looking for. Rustic charm with so many wonderful personal touches! Walking up to this cabin was like taking a trip back in time to visiting my grandmother. It was a wonderful feeling of being at home. I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed porches, porch swing and rocking chairs. The property was covered in blooms from flowering plants and trees. We explored river for hours each day. A perfect weekend getaway that we hope to enjoy again soon! I highly recommend the Shingle Mill Cabin and these sisters as hosts. You can tell they love this place, and we appreciate them sharing with us. We love it now as well.

We had a great stay at Piney Tails! It was one of the most well stocked airbnb spots we have seen. Not only was it a paradise for our dogs, there were so many things for the whole family to do. We hope to come back!

The cabin was the perfect combination of close to the action and beautiful nature spot. We enjoyed everything about it and hope to return soon. The host was perfect in our communications. We really enjoyed the fire pit.

Lovely stay on the Caddo River. The river is gorgeous. The fire pit was a nice touch too! The kids absolutely loved the bunk room. Great place for families to stay!

Skip was such a great host. He was very accommodating. There was breakfast in the fridge and he made sure we had plenty of coffee. He Was very helpful and gave us a tour of the property. The cabins were located along the lake with lake access. It Was a very quiet and private area. He told us the history of the cabins. How his dad built them in the 1930s. They were older but have been well maintained. AC worked great. No issues with plumbing and shower pressure was very good. We brought our dog so this location was perfect. Plenty of room to walk around and explore. We also saw an eagles nest. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see any eagles this trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, cozy and clean cabin! Secluded in the woods with beautiful view of the river below. There were even 8-9 deer in front of the cabin one evening. Everything you need is provided. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway. It’s such a relaxing environment with extremely comfortable furniture and bed. We slept better than we ever have away from home. There is a fire pit with wood already in it and chairs outside. We didn’t fish but you definitely can and there’s a table with water outside to clean your catch. The cabin also has a large screened in porch perfect for taking in the beautiful view. I believe Pam and her husband specifically designed and decorated the cabin to make it feel cozy and relaxing and like home. There’s not a single thing that we would have changed! If we ever get to come to Crater of Diamonds again we will definitely reserve this cabin. Nothing else would compare. Thank you Pam for sharing your home with us and taking such good care of us!

We loved the location and how peaceful it was during our stay. Just skip away from marinas and about an hour from Lake Ouachita state park entrance. It was perfect for our weekend getaway.

the address should read that it's on Barbara Lane instead of Minton Rd. regardless, it was a great stay.

Nice clean small group of cabins with nice drive to crater of diamonds state park. Quiet and close to the lake. Would stay again.
