Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

La ubicación perfecta, con sitios para hacer la compra y que visitar cerca, además de una farmacia. Además la atención fantástica, nos facilitaron el número de teléfono por si necesitábamos cualquier cosa y nos enviaron enlaces de sitios que ver por la zona. Todo fantástico, sin duda volveremos🥰

Amazing views. really enjoyed the premises. Marcos was very responsive and helped with booking the car even. as we did not drive ourselves it was a little difficult to find a ride. The place and the surroundings are amazing. it was great for our stay for 2 days but anything more than that I would recommend a rental car. Also I learnt that Duoro valley is huge and this place isn't in the heart but at the start of the valley.

Tiago est très accueillant. Toutes les informations ont été utiles et ont facilité notre arrivée. La maison est très accueillante, fidèle aux photos. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans les descriptions mais la piscine est chauffée en plus d'être couverte. Nous étions une famille de 6, des enfants aux grands parents, je recommande vivement.

The hosts were amazing! they made sure we will feel at home from the first day. took care of any issue that came by. they brought us fresh bread every morning. the surrounding is really magical. the only thing that was a bit sucks was the washing machine and the dryer. it was in a different structure with 1 min walk and when the weather is raining its not that easy. other than that everything was fine!

Petite maison en pierre joliment rénovée. Belle décoration. Beaucoup d'astuces pour rendre fonctionnel un petit espace. Quelques produits alimentaires,pour dépanner, sont à vendre. Village typique, prévoir son ravitaillement.

Si quieres desconectar y tener intimidad, este es el sitio! un lugar con bonitas vistas, tranquilidad y espacio, sobre todo si vas con perro! A la nuestra le encantó el jardín y pudo disfrutar estando suelta y sin peligro de escapar ya que está todo limitado. La casa tiene todo para que sea cómodo y no falta de nada! En el espacio hay dos casas: en la que te quedas tú que es la primera que ves nada mas entrar, y otra más grande enfrente, más cerca de la zona jardín -piscina, que está cerrada. Pero no compartes espacio con nadie más durante la estancia. Dentro del recinto hay bastante espacio para aparcar. Nosotros hicimos llegada y salida independiente, por las circunstancias, aunque normalmente hay alguien que te recibe. Pero la comunicación con Antonio fue buena en todo momento. Gracias!

A nossa estadia superou todas as expectativas!!! Desde a atenção do host ao detalhe, o conforto, a qualidade e a propia beleza do espaço. Foram uma série de experiências dentro de uma experiência! A piscina interior é um sonho!! O forno á lenha concretizou as nossas delícias, sentimo-nos em casa, com uma temperatura bastante agradável no interior. Os passeios na zona dos limoeiros são bastante agradáveis, com a surpresa dos póneis. Ser 200% petfriendly, sem qualquer tipo de limitação, foi o plus da estadía. Obrigada e até breve! Très belle maison moderne, très bien équipée. Piscine invitante avec beaucoup de commodités. La salle de lavage et les toilettes extérieures sont très pratiques lors des baignades. Accessible vers Porto en 35 minutes. Excellent restaurant local à distance de marche à 2 maisons et personnel très chaleureux. Ça vaut la visite au Solar da Brita!! Bon séjour à Casa Pelourinho à Louredo :)

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The view was breathtaking, and the garden was simply beautiful—a peaceful oasis where we could relax and enjoy nature. The house itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our host was the most wonderful and hospitable person we could have asked for. She greeted us with fresh croissants and wine, making us feel truly special. Every morning, she brought us fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful and delightful touch. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos 2 enfants de 6 ans . La piscine est adaptée pour les enfants en bas âge . Endroit paisible et soigné. Très belle expérience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

La estancia ha sido excelente: La casa, la piscina impecables, el entorno, las viñas, y la amabilidad y excelencia de los anfitriones. Los días de vacaciones que hemos pasado aquí han sido ideales. Los mejores en la ruta. Estábamos al lado de Amarante que nos ha sorprendido gratamente y de otras ciudades para visitar, a 1h en coche. Gracias Osvaldo y Magdalena y familia por ser tan buenos anfitriones!

Foram umas férias memoráveis. A quinta é incrível, com imensas coisas para se ver e fazer. De certo que voltaremos.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine Woche in diesem tollen Ferienhaus zu verbringen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich für einen entspannten und komfortablen Urlaub nur wünschen kann. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind alle mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet, was gerade bei einer Reise mit mehreren Personen ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist. Jedes Zimmer war nett dekoriert, sehr sauber und mit hochwertigen Möbeln ausgestattet - wir hatten sogar ein Babybett. Die Küche war war super ausgestattet, von der Kaffeemaschine bis hin zu ausreichend Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Doch das eigentliche Highlight war für uns die Möglichkeit die Außenküche mit Grill nutzen zu dürfen! Außerdem haben wir sehr gern den Pool und die angrenzende Terrasse genutzt. Auch die Lage des Hauses ist ideal: ruhig und privat, aber dennoch gut zu erreichen von Porto. Der Gastgeber war sehr großzügig, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und er hat alle unsere Fragen hilfsbereit beantwortet.

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at this cozy and charming home! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marisa was incredibly kind, responsive, and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to local attractions and nature spots. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back again!

Casa muito acolhedora, o interior super aconchegante e confortável, com tudo o que uma casa precisa e muito limpa. O exterior tem uma área bastante vasta, uma boa vista, e estacionamento dentro da propriedade. Tem também um jacuzzi numa área reservada. Quero deixar um especial destaque aos anfitriões que foram sempre muito simpáticos e prestáveis.

Ana’s place is a perfect hidden getaway surrounded by amazing views of the countryside and mountains. A car is a necessity. Beautiful flowers, fresh fruit and veggies all around, this place was a great quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were greeted by Ana’s mother who accommodated a late night check in and was there to help any questions we had. Our secondary host, Quarantine the cat, also made sure we had company for our entire stay and was a real delight to have around. Great peaceful escape!
