The best cost cabin! We had such a lovely time! My partner and I booked a weekend stay for our anniversary and to take the dog away for his first trip. It didn’t disappoint! The cabin was clean and homey, heating was on when we arrived so it was cosy when we got in and had everything we needed for a much needed relaxing trip! Alan was lovely, greeting us when we got in and was very responsive when I had any questions. The walk for the dog was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Deffo will be staying here again! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

A perfect stay that exceeded our expectations and was even better than the photos. Angela was responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our Christmas was one to remember. I can’t recommend this house and its surroundings highly enough!

We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood,electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.

We had a fabulous weekend. The cottage was exactly how it was described. Everything we needed. Lovely comfy beds. The bedrooms worked out great for our 2 daughters(18 & 11) they both had there own bedrooms & our oldest loved the en-suite & we were upstairs. The hot tub was a massive plus. We visited the pub across the road, the Green man for food & drinks on the Friday night recommended by Jess & ordered a Chinese on the Saturday, it was unreal, kitchen chop suey bar. Our reason for staying was to visit Harry Potter & its ideal 35 mins to get there. Thank you so much

Our second time staying at the location but in a different barn this time. A beautifully decorated barn, the decor felt unique and has given me some ideas for what I’d like at home! I think this place is a great location and just wish we were here longer so we could try some more of the recommendations Cathy made for us. It is expensive, but if you want a place with a hot tub locally, this is the best value you will get. I had an issue that was totally my own fault when I arrived and Cathy and her husband were both very helpful and quick to sort it out for me. We will hopefully get to stay here again soon, although with a baby having the barns with the hot tubs directly outside would be better as the signal in the baby monitor doesn’t stretch the whole way across the courtyard.

Had a lovely stay at the Woodpecker cabin! It was really a peaceful stay, with beautiful surroundings and the contactless check-in added to this secluded feeling. We managed to see lots of wildlife (barn owls, pheasants, hares etc) and enjoyed the relaxation in front of the firepit and in the hot tub!

I loved it so much I have booked to go again, disappointed that the prices are higher. However it was the perfect break that I needed.

Fred's place was the perfect place for our getaway with friends last weekend. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of space for us all to relax together in multiple different views. We were lucky to have nice weather which made the views from the place amazing. Thank you very much for a great stay, would definitely recommend staying to anyone else

Jennifer’s cottage is a home away from home, really thoughtfully provisioned and very easy with children in tow. It’s in a lovely quiet spot and Jennifer was a wonderful host.

This Airbnb was perfect for a few days when had a few things to do around London. It had parking outside for one car. It was private, cozy and warm. I would stay again

I stayed at The Hayloft whilst looking for a place to rent of my own, the house became like my home and I truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the countryside and how private it felt. The house was pristine and they had a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, it was amazing to get a chance to use their place as a stepping stone. I would’ve loved to have stayed on. The hosts were extremely nice and responded to all my queries, I’ll definitely be back and would recommend them to everyone I know and don’t know!

We stayed for 2 nights from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day 2024 and what a find this cabin was. As the listing states, there's no TV but that was fine with us and we spent a lovely couple of days enjoying countryside walks (our dog loved it!), conversation, board games and reading. It was wonderfully peaceful and we all felt refreshed from the break. The only very minor issue was that there is only a combi microwave and a 2-ring induction hob. I brought along an air fryer/oven so was able to knock out our Christmas dinner pretty well but be aware if you are planning to cook anything exciting. Additionally, despite having an induction hob at home, I couldn't work out how to get it working but that wasn't an issue for me. Great wifi, wonderful walks abound, we were greeted very nicely and then left to our (happy) devices throughout our stay. I can recommend The Willow Tree in Bourn for wonderful food but we didn't try anywhere else, given the times we were there. Many thanks, Jonathan.

It was a real pleasure to be able to stay in such a historic building. Tall people do need to watch out for their heads though. The modern extension housing the kitchen and bathroom were great. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again given the chance. The location in historic Whittlesey is also a very interesting and town. It was perfectly placed for us to meet up with family who live in surrounding districts.

Wow, what can i say, Katy's place melted my heart and exceeded expectations. Such a beautiful cottage, super clean and very very cozy. It is set in a peaceful countrysides where you can actually see stars at night. The cottage have everything you need in such high standards. Katy's welcome in person was much appreciated, although self checkin and out is also available. Nothing was too much trouble. Communicated throughout. She offered very handy local taxi's if needed. The added bonus, is a very thoughtful breakfast hamper. Thank you Katy. Much appreciated hospitality.

My boys and I had a wonderful stay at Barley Cottage. Stephen and Philip are amazing hosts, super friendly, very knowledgeable of the area and great conversation. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the shower was great. Water Newton is an idyllic little village just a stones throw from Peterborough, but a world away! We loved every minute of our time there.

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Wendy was so kind waiting for us on our approach,,welcoming , helpful and very informative, the annex was cosy, comfy, homely and just what we both needed, plus she popped over some fresh milk as I’d forgetten to being some , we will return thank you so much

Stephen is amazing, personable, responsive, ready with helpful actionable suggestions if you need them . The place itself is on a beautiful , riverside property, with beautifully maintained garden, swimming pool. It is 10 minutes drive from Peterborough and 25 minutes form Stomford, and has many trails and walks around that you can explore.

Everything was perfect for us, we were truly blown away when we arrived and looked round. Highly highly recommend

Worth Every Penny, Great Host, beautiful place, clean, peaceful. If you love a jacuzzi with privacy. We were lucky to have a clear sky at night and the area has minimal light pollution so we saw beautiful consolations. We had approx 6 cars all fit well. I'd book again 100%

This place is perfect for a quiet getaway. The hosts are fantastic and the lovely warm pool is great to play in with the kids. You can even go fishing at the end of their garden ( which I took full advantage of!!) or just relax with a glass of wine and sit looking over the river. We look forward to returning next year.
