The Wild Coast Lookout is such a fabulous cottage on the coast! We loved the privacy, views, and the attention to detail throughout the property. We have stayed a lot of places on the coast of Oregon and California but this is a new favorite!

We have stayed at Nora and Jamie’s home on several occasions for multiple days and intend to go back in the spring. I love to hear the sound of the ocean from my bedroom if a window is slightly open. We walked the beach every day, sometimes twice; access to an easy 3 minute walk. The King tides this week were amazing! The location is an easy drive either north to Port Orford or south to Gold Beach. Both towns have great restaurants, a bookstore, galleries and local items for sale. Several parks are close by for hikes; our favorites are Otter Point and Cape Sebastian which we visit every time.

Awesome home with tons of space. It was perfect for the groom and groomsmen to stay together before the big wedding. It was less than 10 minutes from the ceremony and the ocean. The house was stocked with anything you’d need to live comfortably and the information in the binder she leaves explained anything you’d need to know while you’re visiting.

All the reviews say this is a great place for a family. This is correct. Beautiful surroundings, the hot tub was great, the beds comfortable and they even left us welcome snacks. There was a problem that came up that was beyond the owners’ control. Debbie was very responsive to my reaching out and rectified the situation as quickly as they could. I recommend this home.

Really nice spacious house! Only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. Hosts were very responsive and everything functioned as it should. Would totally book again if the opportunity arises!

If you have a decent size group, this place is totally worth it! Very cozy, and extremely peaceful. We had a short stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! It would have been perfect!

Absolutely PERFECT!!! We brought our kids for The Redwood forest. This home was just fabulous with extras along the way! Coffee and creamer, plenty of blankets and extra bedding, so extremely clean! Shampoo, conditioner to laundry soap ect. Kitchen had all cooking supplies. The hot tub was fabulous and the views!!!! Very private home. And So super close to the casino. Definitely highly recommend for a beach home 10/10!!!!

Such a wonderful location. The place has everything you need to be comfortable staying in, and the surrounding community has everything you need to get out when you want to. The best part was the quick walk down to the beach and watching the sea lions swim. Stunning views right from the front door as well.

The place was beautiful, clean, relaxing, we really enjoyed the view. Unfortunately, there was a car parked in the lot assigned to us. I would recommend!

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We had a great stay. Accommodations were basic but had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable.

Cassandra’s spot was absolutely amazing and the perfect getaway. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub with the most perfect views after spending the day south in the redwoods and hiking and exploring all the beaches. Would definitely come back again! 10/10 recommended. Side note: The driveway is a bit steep and not paved so when they say 4X4 is mandatory, believe it!

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.

Enjoyed our stay in Brookings. The beaches and coastline are amazing! Quiet neighborhood and close to town, beaches and redwoods. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin! Everything was clean and we especially appreciated having a full kitchen to use. The setting in the woods is very peaceful and the cabin is set well back from the main house. Kenneth was a great host and had very nice recommendations of places to explore while we were there.

I have be fishing for Smith river steelhead since 1993 and I have stayed in a variety of places, of which, all have been enjoyable in different ways. Bridget's home offers a great location on the river access the numerous fishing spots throughout the middle fork. A bonus was having a dryer to dry up those rainy days fishing gear. Also Bridget's welcome chocolate cookies are addicting, just too few. Lol. I have never stayed in the area during the summer time, but I can imagine this would be a great location.

Such a beautiful place to be even during stormy weather, being able to sit in the nice warm, cozy living room, and watch the turmoil going on in the ocean. Felt extremely safe even walking down to pelican Beach in the rain was so convenient. Use Yelp to go into Brookings for meals. All of them were over the top!

What a charming and comfortable place to stay. The decor is eclectic and I can tell that Bridget has a design eye, blending styles in a comfortable and simple way. The place was super clean. Quiet. Bridget also proactively reached out to give restaurant recommendations. Plus she bakes us cookies! We would absolutely come back to stay here.

My family and I enjoy this cabin by the sea so much! We have stayed here several times and just love it! It’s very cozy and we feel right at home when we are there.

Make sure you download the instructions the host sends to your phone, you won’t get reception until you get in and get your Wi-Fi code. The instructions are needed :) Very beautiful and peaceful setting. My kids were obsessed with running around the yard. Extremely quite at night, which I loved. Felt very safe. Fun things to do nearby- jet boat ride, fishing, kayaking, and BEAUTIFUL hikes at the state park. We could have easily spent another day there.
