this place is a must if you just want to relax and reconnect with the family. it was great that the older kids had their own kitchen area and lounge to relax. organising ferry times to work in sync with what you wanted to do on other islands was hard, but I'm sure not everyone is as unorganised as me.

Gorgeous house and location. Some friends and I celebrated my birthday for the weekend away from the city for some peace and quiet and we're not disappointed. The views and atmosphere were immaculate to say the least. Very clean and spacious house overlooking a small valley. Would love to return some time.

Caroline met us at the cottage, walked us through and showed us everything. We also received great clear instructions on how to access the property. Cottage was so beautiful, peaceful and private, we loved our stay.

A tranquil spot in the bush, that lets you wake up to the sounds of birds, I greatly enjoyed my time here. The host were polite and unobtrusive and it was clean with a decent amount of room. While we did spend most of our time out and about, going back to the Airbnb felt like coming back to peace and simplicity and would always feel like a welcome place to rest at the end of a long day.

A great little country escape on the coast. An older style home with so much character and charm. A stunning indoor dining living space, which we enjoyed a lot as it rained on our stay. The place is stunning rain or shine. The outdoor bathroom was so different and a great feature!!! Outdoor showers were an experience - amazing👌

Absolutely beautiful stay, incredibly peaceful, if you need to get away then this place is exactly that and you don’t have to go to the middle of nowhere. Lovely family owned business, very friendly and could’ve spent forever exploring the grounds.

Jess is such a kind and helpful host. We needed emergency accommodation on short notice and she made it very easy. The home is stunning and VERY family friendly. We felt comfortable having our children and dogs with us. Highly recommend!!!

we all enjoyed our stay it was a beautiful quiet place the kids loved the goats, it was peaceful with all the modern features you'd expect of a luxury home, Michael was excellent to deal with and very friendly made the whole experience enjoyable. we definitely will be staying here next time we come to the Gold Coast

The cottage was beautiful, spotless with a comfortable bed and spa like bathroom. We found it peaceful and relaxing. Carol and Mark were wonderful hosts and Kirby their dog was an unexpected delight. Nestled amongst their stunning garden and avocado grove we did not want to leave. If you are a couple wanting to escape, this cottage is well worth a visit. Mt Tamborine was fun as we love to hike with creature comforts of quirky stores and great food. We plan to return. This rental deserves 10 stars.

We stayed for two nights. The listing and pictures don't do justice to this beautiful, modern place with a gorgeous country feel! Everything was so thoughtfully created, making us feel right at home. Little details, supplies...everything! The deck and dining area were so peaceful with the sounds of the nearby stream. The view from the master bedroom and outdoor tub was incredible! ✨ You won't regret it! I had the best relaxation ever!!

Claudia was a perfect host with clear instructions about the cottage and the general area. When we asked to use the featured fire it was prepared before we arrived and an abundant supply of firewood was provided. I highly recommend The Darlington Cottage for a short stay.

Everything was amazing however we just found it would’ve been nice to have just a few of the staples, salt, pepper, coffee pods as the machine was provided just no pods. Oh also no cloths or spray and wipe or no vacuum either. But otherwise we loved the place and would definitely book again!

I’ve been trying to think of a word to describe our stay at Clayfield and the only word that I can find to come close is “Magical”. It was truly a magical stay at Clayfield. The most beautiful cottage, surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery and to really top it off, having chickens and horses pretty much on our doorstep was the icing on the cake (and of course the gorgeous dog, Banjo). Our host Angie has quite literally thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We traveled with a small child and this couldn’t have been a better choice. Best Airbnb we’ve stayed at and we truly can’t wait to come back.

I loved my one night stay at Joannes place. Lovely and peaceful and the wildlife and kangaroos made it seem like we were right in the bush. And the spa was SO relaxing and what a view !!!! Thankyou Joanne We loved our stay. We wished it could have been longer.

We recently stayed at Farm Stay - The Bluff with 3 families and had an incredible time. The house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The kids loved exploring the farm and feeding the animals, while the adults appreciated the comfortable living spaces and the stunning views. The house itself is beautifully appointed, with modern amenities and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor area with the BBQ and dining table was a highlight, and we spent many evenings enjoying the firepit under the stars. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and we felt right at home during our stay. We highly recommend Farm Stay - The Bluff to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable family vacation.

Stunning countryside. Really good kitchen for our big group who all like to cook! Host was friendly, flexible and accommodating. Space was great for what we were after. Easy going vibes and we all fell in love with muddles the dog. Cheers

We enjoyed Zoya and Roman’s generous hospitality. The guest house is private, super clean with nice linens, and they even shared some banana picked off their tree! The birdsong is incredible. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing experience. Thanks!

If you’re looking for a place to escape the city away from people but close to the beach, this is the spot. Stunning acreage, so serene. We sat under a shady tree with a picnic blanket, speaker, drinks and nibbles while our dog roamed freely in front of us. A perfect way to relax.
