An outstanding rental. Supplies exceeded any expectation: fresh eggs, sourdough, milk, butter and honey. A great assortment of teas, well equiped kitchen. The house has lovely living areas, both inside and on covered verandas with everything needed plus extras. Beds all comfortable with plenty of places for our personal gear. Beautiful little blocks of luxurious handmade soap. We felt lucky to have found Susie’s house.

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

Staying at Belinda’s cottage was an absolute delight! The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the charming rustic decor that instantly made me feel at home. The space was thoughtfully decorated with warm, earthy tones and beautiful wooden accents that gave it an authentic, cozy feel. If you’re looking for a cozy, rustic getaway with a meticulous level of cleanliness, this place is an absolute gem. I felt right at home and can’t wait to return!

Although our stay was cut short due to a family emergency we had a wonderful time staying with Kurt and Nanette , the room was cleaned to the highest standard and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived at the property, The kids felt spoiled when they found some chocolates that Kurt had kindly hidden in the living room for them. We look forward to staying with Kurt and Nanette again in the future. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone , great value and superb hospitality. Thanks again Kurt and Nanette🙂

Such a beautiful home to stay! so comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful breakfast food and snacks to enjoy. We absolutely loved our relaxing stay! Would recommend this place to everyone! Denise is a fantastic host.

Homely cottage. Comfortable, clean, quiet and private. <5min drive to central Ballarat. Sue was easy to communicate with and helpful!

Selena was a great host! She’s incredibly responsive and always helpful when issues arise. We initially had an issue with our hot water supply on arrival, but she immediately got it resolved with minimal involvement on our end, and kindly compensated us for the inconvenience. The house is well supplied, from linen and bedding, to basic kitchen ware. She also had games and laundry available for us to use which we found incredibly useful during our stay. Otherwise, like with most properties, you may need to take shorter showers or wait a while for the hot water supply to fill up. It never was an issue for us though! Thanks for a comfortable stay, Selena!

We had a very enjoyable stay in this charming and interesting property. It is close to the main part of town and Jannine's recommendations for places to visit and eat were very helpful. There was plenty of room for us all!
