Beautiful stay. The beach is very close to the property. The internet works very fine. The TV will ask for a code if you want to install any app and was never provided but that was not a problem for me (take that consideration if you need it). The property itself is not in front of the beach but is really close to it (around 50m from the beach). I recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay at 6 Peces. The house is so special - comfortable, open, airy, you feel like you’re part of the jungle falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean - but with all the modern comforts! Well equipped modern kitchen and very dependable wifi and power. Lorena, the caretaker, was amazing, extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even lending us spices and butter which we forgot! She was able to make dinner arrangements at the lodge and arrange transportation as the walk back in the dark would not have been ideal. She gave us directions to sites in the area and laid out trails for us. The property itself is stunning, perched on the ocean with a wide lawn. Larger beaches within walking distance. King Louis Waterfall was a highlight- don’t be fooled by the initial falls you see - keep climbing to the top! Don’t miss out on an afternoon and dinner at the lodge - beatiful grounds and delicious food. We are definitely going back!

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) wurden freundlich von Rodrigo empfangen. Er hat uns durchs Haus geführt und uns alles Nötige gezeigt. Dann hat er uns angeboten, uns auch noch grad die Nachbarschaft und die nächsten drei Strände zu zeigen. Wir sind dann mit ihm auf einen ersten Spaziergang und konnten dank ihm schon ganz viele Tiere entdecken. Einfach top! Zwei Mal wöchentlich hat Rodrigo den Abfall entsorgt, geputzt und die Wäsche gewechselt. Auf Fragen hat er prompt reagiert und sich gekümmert. Wir haben auch Touren mit ihm gemacht. Immer top organisiert. Die Unterkunft und die Gartenanlage sind sehr gepflegt und mitten im traumhaften Naturparadies OSA. Wir fühlten uns während den 3.5 Wochen immer sicher und mega wohl. Wir können es sofort weiterempfehlen. Es ist paradiesisch!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tapirus Playa - Vincent was a very responsive and helpful host, the view is really as beautiful as the photos, and the location is perfect. A few notes from our experience which may assist others: - Google maps is not entirely accurate in the town. It will generally send you to the right area, but you'll want to rely on good old fashioned "looking around" once you get there. - Water in town is not recommended to drink - you can easily purchase jugs of water at the local stores, or bring some with you. - Infrastructure in town is a bit of a work in progress. During our stay, there were periodic brief electricity outages, and twice we lost water. You may consider filling any empty jugs of water you've already used with tap water for toilet flushes (which was the most disruptive part of losing water). None of it is in the host's control, but it's good to be prepared :)

We loved the stay at Jamie’s place! The location is perfect walking distance to float the river, yoga, the beach and lots of yummy restaurants. The grounds are a pristine paradise with beautiful trees, plants birds, lizards and the sound of howler monkeys!! We arrived late, Jamie graciously welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. She’s an excellent host, we felt relaxed and right at home. We highly recommend and would love to come back!

One of the best private beachfront places to stay in Drake!!!! Had such an amazing time staying here!!! Amazing location outside of town and Lex was one of the best hosts we have ever had!!! If your thinking of staying Drake then this should be one of your stays. We can't wait to be back next year!!!

The property is beachfront. The home is perfect for 2-3 people. The kitchen has everything you need. Margaret was a great host & was very responsive & helpful. The area is very relaxing.

We needed a place and booked last minute. Maria and her team couldn't have been any more accommodating. The place is super fun. Totally a great place for a group.

loved this little open air primitive cabin set back in the jungle! waking up to the chatter of the monkeys and seeing toucans off our porch, living off of fresh fruit, surfing, hiking to the waterfalls and swimming in the pools, sipping tea with the afternoon rains coming down and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shores in the distance. it was a perfect weekend getaway!

We booked this house twice during our visit to CR for routing purposes and Giovanni and Tracey could not have been more accommodating. We were so much more comfortable during our transitions in and out of this house. If you’re on the fence, book it! This place is awesome!

This place is the definition of Pura Vida!!! We had an absolutely incredible stay at Sarah's place in Playa Zancudo! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Sarah is an absolute angel. She went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially since we were celebrating my birthday and our honeymoon. The accommodations were comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for enjoying the beach, pool and wildlife. We also had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people during our stay, which made the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend Luna Del Mar to anyone looking to experience the real Costa Rica. Thank you, Sarah, for making our trip so unforgettable! We will be back.

An absolute epic spot! you are 30 sec walk to the beach and surf spot, 10 min drive from punta banco. The cabin are super cozy , private and the kitchen has everything you need. I stayed there for a week and Ian & Zara made me feel right at home. Such amazing host, always ready to help with recommendations of surf spot , restaurant, place to buy fresh tuna & fresh shrimps! For anyone on a surf trip this place got to be your first pick! 10/10

Amanda’s place was easy to find, spotlessly clean and tidy, everything worked perfectly. We swam in the calm warm sea just in front of the property and made good use of the kayaks to explore the mangrove along the coast. It was hot hot hot so the air conditioning in the property was a life saver for us temperate types 🤣. Amanda and Jay were very friendly and super-helpful at advising us on the best ways to explore Corcovado. There are plenty of walkable restaurants and the BM supermarket in Puerto Jimenez was great for all our needs. There are so many beautiful birds in the gardens and immediate surroundings we saw lots of Scarlet macaws and even a sloth hanging out in a tree very close to the property. We felt very safe and secure in the surroundings which were peaceful and relaxing. We took a night tour near Puerto Jiménez and a day out on a guided walk of Corcovado. We would have liked to visit Matapalo but a 4WD is essential to navigate that road. All in all a great stay!

This was our first time renting an Airbnb in a foreign country, so we were a little nervous. Charles was super helpful and responsive during the whole trip. He gave us great recommendations, scheduled our excursions, and answered all of our questions. The main thing we wanted to do was to go offshore fishing. Charles hooked us up with two great captains (Louis and Donald (Dos Mas), and we had a great day of fishing. The house is located just a very short walk from the pier where you catch the boat. There are also several good restaurants that are within a short walk from the house. We also did an off-road drive and a short hike to the King Louis waterfall, tour of chocolate farm, and went surfing with Keilor (Lakos surf shop in town). We would recommend all of these activities highly. This was a great trip and we had a party of 6 from age 7 to 71. The fishing was amazing.

This is our second time staying at the home. It’s absolutely incredible. The beach is never crowded and right at your doorstep. There’s so much to do from snorkeling to fishing to surfing to hiking. Or you can just lounge and do absolutely nothing, surrounded by the beauty of the jungle. It’s everything you could ask for in a jungle setting. Chicky the caretaker is great, very responsive & super friendly. We will be back again.

The location is great, few doors down to a supermarket and few restaurants. The property is beachfront and private. It’s more worth than what I paid for. Ana is a really nice person and eager to help. I’ll be back!

This was an incredible place to stay; we were there for three weeks and enjoyed every second of it. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We have had the most wonderful stay at this super little beach house. Everything we needed and in a stunning setting … so our planned couple of days was quickly extended to a week once we realised how lucky we were to find it. For anyone wanting a restful, quiet and beachfront property to enjoy time in this beautiful country will be delighted here. The wildlife in the gardens have really made the stay special too. Sonny has been a great host . Communications were excellent and he’s been a great source of local knowledge for a few treats. Certainly a gem of a place with a sociable and thoughtful host.

Susan and Carlos’ accommodation is truly exceptional and highly recommended. Nestled in the heart of the jungle, it offers a unique stay in one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and untouched locations. From the balcony, we watched capuchin monkeys climb and leap through the trees, and the night tour with Carlos was an unforgettable experience. Falling asleep to the mesmerizing sounds of the rainforest made our stay even more special. On top of that, the price-performance ratio is fantastic. I would definitely come back!

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience. Die Unterkunft liegt nur ein paar Meter von einem kilometerlangen Strand entfernt, der fast nur dir gehört. Obwohl er ein öffentlicher Strand ist, sind fast keine Menschen dort aufzufinden. Also einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und Cara ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie empfängt einen sehr freundlich und ist sehr kommunikativ. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!

This is an ideal place to stay in Punta Banco, 2 minute walk to the wave, 2 minute walk to a really good soda and 1 minute walk to a smoothie place. Incredible river with rushing water that provided great fun for everyone runs alongside the property. As a plus there were two beautiful Ylang Ylang trees in the front yard. ❤️

Great stay in pavones. Peaceful location comfortable for friends and families looking for a environment with surfing around. Would definitely stay again.
