Parfait Grande maison rustique mais confortable. Un superbe jardin et de la tranquillité. Si vous cherchez du calme c'est là qu'il faut aller loin de l'agitation de la ville qui reste à une distance raisonnable ( 20 min Porto) les espaces sont très grands et la propriété beaucoup plus jolie que sur les photos.merci pour ce beau séjour. Nous reviendrons sûrement

Jorge's place has character. The deck and the backyard were both nice although we didn't really use them. It's a nice space with room to relax. Our favorite meal on our 3 week trip was their recommendation of Casa Viuva Wine Bar so their advice when given, it is spot on. Only complaint I would have is the hot water runs out fairly quickly in the shower, but it's an older house and I love long showers. You will get about 5 minutes. Other than that it's a wonderful town and good central location if you have a car for Porto or the Douro Valley

Huset er veldig godt utstyrt. Vi hadde alt som var nødvendig for å lage middag til familie på 6. Det er også en veldig fin hage ved huset med mulighet til grilling. Huset ligger i en rolig strøk, med hyggelige naboer og et lite bakeri. Vi hadde 10 fine dager hvor vi kunne bruke dagene til å reise og å se de mest berømte plassene for deretter å returnere til en koselig, privat plass uten byens bråk. Det er kanskje en fordel å ha en bil når man bor såpass «på bygda». Vi kommer til å huske lukten fra eucalyptusskogen og fin fuglesang på morgenene. Verten Joana er veldig omtenksom og hyggelig. Det er laget et oversikt over diverse steder i Medas som er verdt å besøke. Hun var alltid rask til å svare på hvilket som helst spørsmål. Det er absolut verdt til å tilbringe ferien i det gule huset i Medas. Kjempe hyggelig sted.

Emília was extremely friendly and responsive. We were three couples who went to a wedding nearby and Emilia was flexible with the check in and check out - we could arrive 1 hour earlier even though we were late at the end and ended up checking in just 15min before the standard hour. Also for the check out, knowing we would probably be tired after the party, she let us check out later because she didn’t have any bookings after ours - we didn’t do it but having the option shows the great host Emilia is. She was there for the check in and check out in a blink of an eye-one message away to be precise. There’s a private parking where three cars easily fit. The rooms are big, the living room and outdoor space are incredible to relax and get together, the kitchen is extremely well prepared to receive guests. The house is well decorated and bring a sense of peace . Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to enjoy the place to the fullest but I wholeheartedly recommend Emilia’s place.

Endroit magnifique avec une très grande propriété. 30 minutes de Porto. Extérieur très fleuri, beaucoup de terrain pour faire du sport, foot, basket, badminton, place de jeux etc… Chambres spacieuses, lits propres et agréables. Grande piscine (Attention pourtour bois délabré à refaire mais prévu selon l hôte) Hôte très accueillant et disponible si besoin. Assez présent sur place mais prévient avant de passer. This villa exceeded our expectations, and was well appointed to accommodate our needs. We were two families totally 4 adults and 4 kids, and the size was perfect. Outdoor amenities were great, including pool, bathhouse, picnic and barbecue area. The property was very private, and there was a Marina Bar next door that has great food (the burger is one of the best I've had). The only two downsides, which didn't impact my rating was that the wifi didn't work well (I had my own hotspot, and you might want to disconnect) and the beds are firm (seems common in Portugal, because we had a very similar experience at another place). We were looking for a place that was central to northern Portugal, and this worked out great (less then 30 mins to Porto). Being right on the Duro river was very relaxing. We were also able to experience folk dancing (rancho) next door at the marina one night, which was a great cultural experience.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! The balcony (which also has somewhat of a ceiling, so you can use it even if it rains) is perfectly cosy, and the view is quite frankly stunning. The neighbourhood is calm and quiet, with everything needed at a walking distance. Getting down to the river only took approx 20 min, and there are lots of things to see and do in the area. Ani was a great host, always fast in responding and helping with our questions. She also accommodated us with a flexible check-in, meaning we could make the most of our stay. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a neat apartment, with good location and amazing views!

2 eme séjour dans le même immeuble avec un logement différent . Très bon emplacement pour visiter Porto , metro enface de l’appartement . Très bon aménagements & équipements. Si vous avez le sommeil fragile le seul petit bémol est le bruit des voisins du dessus que l’on peu entendre si jamais il rentre tard ou partent tôt. À savoir que la chambre des enfants est indépendante donc aucun bruit des voisins pour eux . Mais cela ne nous gênants pas étant bien fatigués de nos journées, nous sommes revenus & reviendrons si nous revenons sur Porto . Merci :)

The pictures honor the apartment as it is exactly what you will get. it’s orientation is perfect once the resting area (room and toilet) is on the west side of the building, while the living area is located in the east part of the building, meaning that one can benefit from the sunrise in the room and sunset in the living room and resulting on a great light inside the house. The kitchen is all equipped, having a dish machine, laundry machine which also dries, all the basics to cook, pans, cutlery, toast machine, a boiler for water and coffee machine. Sousa family provided coffee capsules, tea and sugar as courtesy and a great detail was to provide the basics to cook (sunflower oil, olive oil, peppers, parsley, aluminum foil, salt) which is a nice gesture. the apartment has good finishings, being mostly wood, making the atmosphere warm. Well isolated apartment, had no need of AC which is available. Views, well, the only aspect that pictures do not honor, in loco is much better!

One of the best apartment we have ever booked! Thanks to the fireplace, patio and overall coziness and convenience - everything is so well designed, so you really can feel like home and try to live like a local. The location was perfect for us, as we didn't want to live in the touristic center. Everything was easy to reach either by metro (10 mins walk to the station, and 10mins ride) or by Uber - 10mins to the ocean, 10-15mins to the center. The supermarket is next door, as well as the place with fresh croissants. Highly recommend Nuno's place to recharge and spend time like locals.

We had a great time at Tiago's flat. It is a large handsome flat, with comfortable living room and bedrooms. Some of the furnishings could do with a refresh but it is clean and well maintained. Tiago gave us lots of recommendations of what to see, which was great. Excellent value for money. The neighbourhood is lovely. Within walking distance you have (amongst many things) the Casa da musica (beautiful auditorium by Dutch architect Rem Kolhaas, I would really recommend taking the guided tour and seeing a concert there, they even have shows in the summer. By the way, the café is great and has good food for a reasonable price), a very nice bakery (Royale Pão Paixão), an excellent arty book shop (Flanneur), a few shopping centres and a nice restaurant market (Mercado do Bom Succeso, the seafood stall was particularly good). What's also great about the neighbourhood is that it is less busy than the centre, so it was great to go back there after a day seeing the sights in the centre.

Hemos el viaje en familia y ha sido un placer. El ático muy amplio y confortable, y a un paso de todo lo interesante. El anfitrión muy amable en sus indicaciones y recomendaciones. Todo para repetir.

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. Communication was easy, was more than happy to help. Thank you again!

A quelques kilomètres du centre de Porto, dans la petite ville d’Avintes, la maison est idéalement située, à la fois proche des commerces et dans un quartier résidentiel calme. Le jardin est superbement fleuri, même si étant donné la saison, nous n’en avons pas beaucoup profité. La location se situe au premier étage de la maison ; en dessous vivent des locataires discrets. L’intérieur est très propre, agréable et grand : trois chambres dont une avec dressing et suite parentale ; une jolie salle à manger très lumineuse, une cuisine bien équipée, et même une petite buanderie, ce qui est un plus. Les fournitures alimentaires (huile, sel, sucre, etc.) sont à apporter par les voyageurs. La plus grande qualité de cette location est certainement sa propriétaire, Manuela. Elle a été aux petits soins pour nous, toujours attentive à tout, nous donnant régulièrement des conseils très utiles. Bravo et merci!

We had a very pleasant stay at this airbnb! The host was very lovely, kind, and always messaged me back quickly when we needed something! It was a beautiful house with a great pool and garden. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to relax but also want to be able to go to the city to explore!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, un très bel accueil à notre arrivée de sa part. Antonio nous a donné de très bons conseils afin de visiter Porto et ses environs. je recommande !!

Het in 2015 gerenoveerde huis is voorzien van drie slaapkamers, 3,5 badkamer. Het was een prima accommodatie voor een verblijf van een week om Porto en omgeving te bekijken. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk, zeer warm. Het huis beschikt over een prachtig terras, een (onverwarmd) infinity pool met mooi uitzicht over de vallei en Duoro en beschikt over een (schone!) Weber BBQ. Veel privacy om met je gezelschap buiten te genieten. 15-20 Mbps internet voldoende om je digitaal voor te bereiden op een dagtrip. Ondanks dat de brandmeldinstallatie niet helemaal stabiel was, heeft de eigenaar er alles aan gedaan om dit tijdens ons verblijf te verbeteren. Voor een verblijf net buiten Porto met rust en ruimte is dit een prima locatie.

We stayed for four days at the residence of fransisco with a group of five young males. In advance of our arrival the contact with both fransisco and his wife went so smooth, they almost responded immediately. When we arrived at the residence we got an more than warm welcome, we were greeted by fransisco and his wife who gave us a tour and told us everything we wanted to know about the house and garden. Our stay was perfect, the pool was amazing and the temperature of the water was good, we played a lot of soccer in the garden or on the football pitch which could get a little warm when barefoot. Had a small inconvenience but we could solve this with the host almost immediately. In conclusion we had an excellent stay and loved the residence and would definitely recommend fransisco as a host and the residence as well!

The house is well located with a nice view, Clare is super reactive and welcoming. The extra service such as private chef is nice but is, in my opinion, expensive for what it is.. overall it’s a nice experience
