Jorge's place has character. The deck and the backyard were both nice although we didn't really use them. It's a nice space with room to relax. Our favorite meal on our 3 week trip was their recommendation of Casa Viuva Wine Bar so their advice when given, it is spot on. Only complaint I would have is the hot water runs out fairly quickly in the shower, but it's an older house and I love long showers. You will get about 5 minutes. Other than that it's a wonderful town and good central location if you have a car for Porto or the Douro Valley

Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est cosy, mignonne et confortable, La décoration est soignée. Côté extérieur, le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables aussi bien en journée qu’en soirée. L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter de la région et de porto. Merci beaucoup pour toutes les petites attentions qui ont contribué à ce joli moment.

Prachtige oase nabij Porto! Tuin is met veel liefde ontworpen en bijgehouden. Bedden waren goed, alles was nieuw en fris. De honden zijn lief. We hebben ze maar een paar keer gezien, die zaten vooral in het huis. Christophe hielp ons goed met vinden van een garage voor onze auto. Floriane is erg behulpzaam en een harde werker. Wij vonden het leuk dat we bij het zwembad aan tafel konden ontbijten, bbq-en en dineren. Sfeervol onder de bomen bij kaarslicht.

Emília was extremely friendly and responsive. We were three couples who went to a wedding nearby and Emilia was flexible with the check in and check out - we could arrive 1 hour earlier even though we were late at the end and ended up checking in just 15min before the standard hour. Also for the check out, knowing we would probably be tired after the party, she let us check out later because she didn’t have any bookings after ours - we didn’t do it but having the option shows the great host Emilia is. She was there for the check in and check out in a blink of an eye-one message away to be precise. There’s a private parking where three cars easily fit. The rooms are big, the living room and outdoor space are incredible to relax and get together, the kitchen is extremely well prepared to receive guests. The house is well decorated and bring a sense of peace . Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to enjoy the place to the fullest but I wholeheartedly recommend Emilia’s place.

Séjour parfait. Hôte très accueillant et flexible dans les horaires. Emplacement à deux pas des cafés et supermarché. Lieu idéal pour le repos, piscine super. Merci encore pour votre accueil.

We didn’t want to leave! The house, gardens and pool were exactly what we were looking for to relax. We spent so much time wandering through the gardens and watching cruise ships pass by on the river. Rui was very attentive and made us feel at home. We want to visit again!!

Nous avons passés une semaine merveilleuse dans cette jolie maison avec une vue .. MAGNIFIQUE ! Propre, pratique, très bien placée (à côté de l’autoroute). Tony et Liliana son employée sont des personnes extrêmement gentilles, mon petit garçon a été malade sur une nuit, dès le lendemain matin Liliana était là pour nous aider à trouver le bon professionnel de santé. Sachez aussi qui Liliana propose de préparer des repas .. elle cuisine vraiment très bien, nous nous sommes régalés ! Un grand merci, nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation cette maison ! Lorsque nous partons en pays étranger c’est toujours rassurant de se sentir soutenu et aidé, chez Tony vous le serez !

Great place to stay was clean and relaxing and the pool was great for the family. The host was very helpful and friendly, informed us of local restaurants and events in the area including a medieval festival that was taking place whilst we were there. Communication was easy, was more than happy to help. Thank you again!

We had a fantastic stay in Paula’s place. The rooms were immaculate and all had en-suites, it was well stocked and perfect for large groups. We loved the nature aspect too with chickens, cats, fish & bunnies. The pool was clean. The location is fab too, just 15-20 min cab outside porto and feels private. There was a random electric fault while we were there, however, Paula was on hand & sent someone out in the early hours of the morning and when they couldn’t fix this, they came over first thing the next morning - this was very appreciated. I’d recommend this stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this airbnb! The host was very lovely, kind, and always messaged me back quickly when we needed something! It was a beautiful house with a great pool and garden. I would definitely recommend this place for people who want to relax but also want to be able to go to the city to explore!

Nossa estadia foi ótima! André estava sempre atento quando algo era perguntado a ele. Aproveitamos o jardim e os bancos que ficam nele para bater papo e tomar algumas bebidas. Tudo limpo e organizado! Espero voltar no verão para aproveitar a piscina.

Merci énormément pour ce séjour chez vous ! C'était incroyable, nous avons passé de super moments. Les adolescents ont plein de souvenirs mémorables. Tout est magnifique, avec des petis espaces détentes partout. Le logement est vraiment merveilleux, et il y a des petites attentions partout (plaide, porto, bois de cheminée etc.). La communication avec Sofia était parfaite (même si nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion e se voir). Sofia a pu nous trouver et réserver un restaurant pour 12, proche du logement. Plein de petits conseils. Bref, vous l'aurez compris, vous pouvez réserver ce logement les yeux fermés !! Nous reviendrons, c'est certain ! Belle journée à vous À bientôt ! Alex, Marie et les adolescents

La maison correspondait parfaitement a la description, endroit paisible et vue incroyable, Vania était très reactive et sympathique. Attention a l’accessibilité en voiture, le passage est très étroit pour les grosses voitures

Na passada sexta-feira, visitei o Bruval Eco Retreat e a experiência foi simplesmente inesquecível. Escolhi este lugar mágico para pedir a minha companheira em casamento, e não poderia ter encontrado cenário mais perfeito. Desde a chegada, fomos recebidos com uma simpatia e atenção excecionais. A equipa foi sempre disponível, acolhedora e atenta a cada detalhe, garantindo que tudo corresse na perfeição. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable and we absolutely loved the grounds and outdoor areas. There was a lot of privacy and we enjoyed our quiet retreat. Carina the house manager went above and beyond, she brought us fresh bread and treats each morning and brought over dinner one night that my family absolutely loved. We enjoyed the location - drivable to Porto and the Douro valley.
