Mallory’s place was a wonderful retreat for our family of four over a long weekend. The grounds are beautiful - we took lots of walks, did some fishing, and enjoyed the trampoline. Being able to bring our dogs along huge plus. Having complimentary coffee and a few adult beverages was a nice addition.

Captain's Quarters is very beautifully decorated & lovingly cared for, the furnishings fit the 1900 theme to a tea. Every detail was looked after to make our stay an enjoyable one, from the soaking tub to the freshly-baked cookies, coffee & tea. We loved the basket of goodies waiting for us! We appreciated the communication with Denise & Lyle-they are kind, hospitable hosts. Denise had written check-in & out instructions, making it extremely easy to do both. She also checked on us through a text the next morning, to make sure everything was okay. The neighborhood was very quiet and the house was very convenient and walkable to things we found to do-walk to the library, restaurants, the grocery store, popcorn stand, food truck, and the historic home walking tour-it was also very easy to get out of town for scenic back-road driving. Lake City is an adorable town by the lake/river; it was fun to spend a few days there to unwind & enjoy Bluff Country and new scenery.

This was THE PERFECT place to stay! We were in town for a funeral and this was the only place for family to gather for down time and a meal, and there was plenty of room. The accommodations were amazing and we felt right at home. Thank you Patricia for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property! We will absolutely be booking again next time we are in the area!

Great spot! Stephanie's spot was easy to find, safe, and tucked away from the main road. It was perfect for our travel requirements. It was a value that we surely apprechiated. Would stay again!

Rachel’s house was a perfect location for us and plenty of room too. The cozy house was well-stocked in the kitchen, which is rare, and the view can’t be beat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Rachel communicated easily and it was overall a great stay.

Wow….what a beautiful place. Everyone commented how nice and ‘hygge’ everything felt. We were 3 adults with 4 teens and the place was just perfect. Definitely a perfect 10. We’re already planning a return visit.

My friend and I had a Girl’s shopping weekend and this was a perfect central location. The place is adorable and comfortable. We felt at home and it was so nice to relax and just enjoy ourselves. We are already planning our next trip!!!

I stayed at The Blue Iris Marigold apartment for an extended period of time. It was exactly what I was looking for. Cozy, relaxing, comfortable, easy to walk everywhere. I'll stay again should the need arise. Julia was a wonderful host.

We absolutely loved this cozy space and all the attention to detail in the thoughtful touches throughout the unit. The proximity to restaurants and shopping can’t be beat – was nice being able to park the car for the weekend and just walk where we wanted to go. The artwork throughout the unit was impressive and the abundance of comfortable seating was very much appreciated for curling up with a book and just relaxing. We look forward to our next visit!

The photos don't do this unique, comfortable, serene, special place justice! Any time of year this would be the best stay, and it's equipped with everything you would need and more (linens, blankets, pillows, firewood, dishware, cooking equipment, indoor and outdoor seating, etc.). The hosts were communicative and thorough and nothing was an issue or surprise. And the beds were the most comfy! The only consideration is how many people you have and how particular you are about sleeping arrangements, as three beds + sofa sleeper are all in one lofted/communal space (different floors), with one bedroom fully separate in the basement. Not an issue for 4 single adults.

Amazing views and great place to come if you just want to relax! Host was super helpful and quickly responded to my texts! Thank you for sharing your home!

Jen and Brett’s place highly exceeded our expectations!!! We came to stay at the cottage as a last minute weekend getaway. The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The hosts were amazing and their dog Fiona adorable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!
