The cottage was well suited to a weekend away from the city. It was quite peaceful, situated amongst the farmland. The cottage is a good size for 2-4 people, with all the amenities you could need. The hosts were quite responsive and friendly, and provided a lot of information, about both the accommodation and the local area. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the spa bath was a nice touch. The town isn't too far away at all (about 8 minutes drive), so you can get food quite easily, or prepare it at the cottage. It was great to have access to the pool and tennis court. The pool was set a bit too cold for us, so we only used it once (despite the 30+ degree weather). We originally planned to bring our dog, but changed our mind, as they cannot be left inside, or outside (unless tied up). If there was some sort of enclosure outside, it might be easier for dog-owners who also want to go out for the day. The property is also quite high tech, with convenient keyless entry.

A beautiful home, photos don’t do it justice. Peaceful , relaxing and beautiful decorated. Comfortable with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Suitable for couples and families. Beautiful property and made to feel right at home . The extra special touches like a baked cake on arrival and fresh homemade bread and bacon and eggs for breakfast was so personably . The house was clean and welcoming. Loved the friendly dogs, the bird life and gorgeous horses. We will most definitely be back again with hopefully a longer stay. Thank you Jacky & Tony

This was my second time staying at Michalea's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time! Excellent location and great space. Love and really appreciate the extra touches Michalea leaves for her guests (an array of local items), super comfy beds and spacious bedrooms. Highly recommend! Looking forward to staying again 😁

place was great and had everything we needed at a reasonable price. The kids loved the farm animals and were kept entertained throughout our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in the outskirts of Melbourne

We had a wonderful stay at Vickie and Ed’s place! As soon as we arrived it was like our home away from home. Vickie had wonderful local recommendations and the kids loved feeding the goats! It was magic watching the sunset on the deck overlooking the countryside. We were after a relaxing weekend in the countryside with the kids and it was everything and more! Highly recommend and we will be back

Tracey and Adrian's accommodation is located adjacent to their house, in the Warby Ovens National Park, with lovely hill and bush views. The property has a vineyard and orchard, and a lot of unspoilt bushland, with much birdlife. The apartment has great views of the surroundings, is well fitted out and very comfortable and quiet. Tracey was a delight to meet and we learned a great deal about the locality and its history. One of the most delightful AirBnB stays we have had, in one of the most delightful locations, and we would love to stay again. Thank you Tracey !

A beautiful spot for a weekend away! It is tucked away at the end of a no through road, which made it so peaceful and relaxing. The place itself was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sunshine reading a book. A lovely place to unwind for a couple of days and just a short, easy walk into the main shops. Helen was very accommodating and all the communication was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night as we were traveling though. The cabin was compact but comfortable and had all the essentials. The sanctuary is absolutely amazing and the animals were incredible. You have to visit Ray the ostrich and see him dance. So awesome. At first we were a little wary of the huge free ranging turkey but after getting to know him, we became best friends, and he followed us around the farm acting as our tour guide! He is a beautiful creature. We love Tommy the friendly turkey :D there's also a vast range of other impressive animals like camels and Canadian elks. It's like having a zoo all to yourself. We appreciated the late check out so we had time to enjoy the farm in the morning before we left. We met one of the hosts who was very welcoming and showed us around, it was great to hear some of the stories behind these animal rescues. You can see these animals get a lot of love and live happy lives here. Great place and hope to be back one day.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage on the winery! The cottage was lovely—clean, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful vineyard views. Samantha was a wonderful host, making us feel welcome from the start and even treating us to a wine tasting at the cellar door, which was a highlight of our trip. A perfect place to relax and enjoy great wine. Highly recommend!

What a great long weekend getaway. The farm is secluded and it’s so peaceful without any neighbours in close proximity. The kids had a ball. They loved the cows, both the babies and the adults. Beth the farmer was friendly and happy to offer her knowledge to us during our stay in relation to the farm. Only 20 minutes away from Echuca we got to get the best of both worlds, come home to a peaceful space and also enjoy swims at the Murray and dinner at the American was a highlight as well. Hopefully will return with some extended family. Thank you for a wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at Frans place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to wineries and amneties , yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. Fran was incredibly kind and responsive, providing great recommendations and making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Lovely house, very secluded and comfortable. The dogs especially enjoyed the spacious backyard (note it’s not fully fenced).

Lovely stay that did exactly what we needed to with separate rooms and for travelling with a large car and trailer, super easy to park in spacious surrounds. Two minutes out onto the motorway into the city, so a good location too if you don’t need to be right in the middle of town and are self sufficient for food. Although the Keilor hotel wasn’t far for a beer and nice feed. Good stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lunar Lodge! The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and we instantly felt at home. The real highlight was the incredible animals—the affectionate and funny chickens had us laughing, and the peacock with its babies was just magical to see. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Tegan was a fantastic host, making sure we had everything we needed while giving us the perfect balance of privacy and warmth. We can’t wait to come back again in the future! We had an absolute blast at Andre and Paulines, we loved the serene natural surroundings and especially the front porch overlooking the strawberry farm! It was just soooo peaceful! Just what we needed! We attended a wedding at Coombe which was literally a 3 minute drive away so, super easy after the wedding to get back home. The cottage is as cosy as they come with beautiful natural light streaming in. Everything was so clean! Cleaner than a 5 star hotel! Beds and pillows were very comfy and I’m a little particular with that! Very happy! We were treated to coffee pods, milk, fresh bread, a fresh block of butter and homemade made rhubarb/strawberry jam which was to die for. Our hosts were beautiful and accommodated our needs as I travelled with aged parents. We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks for a beautiful stay!! See you soon!
