I feel blessed to have stayed with Jyoti & Shyam at Kharwa Fort - this is an amazing Indian experience - not only real history but the most amazing food, conversation and hospitality all wrapped up in a magical historical fort. As a solo woman traveller, I felt not only safe but also had lots of time for meaningful conversation and interaction, and also time to rest, explore and more. Visits to Pushkar and the farm were lovely and much appreciated, and also interactions with local village women - particularly Laxhmi and Koushal - memories I will treasure. As someone that’s been to India 12 times, I not only highly recommend Kharwa Fort Home Stay here - I can say this will be your best authentic Indian experience. I loved every minute. Super 💎 gem in Pushkar—ideal for a female solo, highly recommend🙏🏻 The lovely couple who owns and runs the show and the amazing chef and staff offer real hospitality—organic affordable homemade food, fresh kombucha+ & bread, tiramisu, a lounging garden and couches with cats & tortoises=great vibe. The food and creative energy of Karavan Kafe makes it stand out as the best place in Pushkar! Thanks to everyone for creating a safe, fun, and peaceful place during my 9 night stay.

The wonderful experience had staying at Eshan and his family’s charming cottage-y room is precisely why I love AirBnbs. He and his family are warm, hospitable and with great stories to tell. They also grow vegetables in their backyard! Eshan’s mother cooked us fresh breakfast every morning with tea (twice a day). Staying with them while in Ajmer was the ideal local immersive experience we were looking for.

Narendra was super helpful and a welcoming host. I really enjoyed my stay at his farm.

We stayed here with our (2) toddlers and as a family, we can seem pretty feral. From the moment we arrived, we felt cared for. If you are in contact with the host prior to arriving, then you’ll have already gathered that sense. Once we settled in, it all feels quite surreal. The beauty of the trees growing within the buildings, the never-ending blooming flowers, the serene sounds of the birds, and lite sweeping that keeps the property pristine. We arrived in-between lunch and dinner. But that wasn’t any problem as this place has an open door when it comes to the kitchen. They want you to feel like you’re at home and at the same time, they will move the earth to accommodate your needs. Whether you want to be taken care of or you want to take care of yourself in the kitchen with making a quick snack or coffee. Again, the doors are always open for you. The service is immaculate and the food will heal your soul. Long story short, I’ll always stay here whenever I’m in Pushkar! ❤

It was an awesome place to stay. I went with my parents who are above 75 years of age, and they enjoyed the stay. My wife and daughter who is 7 years old enjoyed to the most as well. Vayu has an amazing family who are willing to help you with any queries. Their in house Restaurant 'Marco's' serves one of the best Italian dishes I have ever eaten. Their Ravioli was heavenly. The rooms are spacious and give you the perfect farm feel. They have 3 dogs who are really friendly, 2 horses abd lots of parakeets, parrots and other birds as well. Would love to visit again.
