We met the whole family over our time and all such an amazing bunch of friendly helpful welcoming people and made us feel right at home! There aren’t enough words to describe the beauty of this gorgeous spot! Even during a rainy stay, this AirBnB offered a gorgeous getaway and peace and quiet from the busy cities we’re used to. Lucie’s place has everything; pristinely clean, entertainment in the form of books, TV, and board games, tea and coffee, a comfortable bed that makes waking up a challenge, beautiful water pressure and stunningly unique decor — For such a bargain price! But the star of our stay was our host Lucie! She is proactive, friendly, accommodating and incredibly approachable. We felt so taken care of. As someone who frequently travels across the UK, Lucie is a standout and I feel so lucky to have found such a gorgeous place to stay. The nature around you is a surefire reset; calming running water right by your bedroom window, and lots of green surroundings to indulge. I can’t wait to book again! Thank you for the brilliant birthday treat!

We chose Sarah’s beautiful home for our friend’s hen do, and we’re so glad we did! Sarah was a fantastic host - warm, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She made the whole planning process a dream. The house itself is stunning, full of charm, and the garden is just amazing. We arrived on a sunny day and kicked things off with drinks in the sunshine to welcome the bride. Sarah greeted us with cocktails and even baked a delicious cake for us. She also left lovely handwritten cards for both me and the bride, which was such a thoughtful touch. We opted for the feast that Sarah offers, and it was incredible! Our bride is gluten-free and one of the hens is veggie - Sarah and Fiona went above and beyond to accommodate everyone, even making homemade gluten-free naan! We all had such a lovely time and all agreed we'd love to come back again in the summer. Sarah is an amazing host who genuinely cares about her guests, and we couldn’t recommend Velindre House enough!

Great place for a small or medium sized family. Two decent sized double beds plus twin beds in the attic conversion. Beautiful views and beach in walking distance. Well equipped kitchen. Large supermarket within 10 mins drive. Choice of beaches. Would recommend.

Parrog House is a beautifully situated, large house, virtually on the sea front in Newport. Despite being a large old building, the aga and log fire made it feel very cosy, even in the midst of winter storms. The kitchen and dining room were great for dinner with family and friends but there are also some great pubs close by (walking distance) if you want a night off cooking. With 4 showers and 5 toilets there were also ample facilities for everyone, which is great when your group includes teenagers as ours did. Would highly recommend.

Claire was a lovely host! the house is so cozy and a great place to set us base to allow some exploration of the Welsh countryside. Claire provided so many small extra touches that made the stay special, such as delicious homemade cakes, firelighters for the fire and other snacks and little treats ❤️ I would definitely reccomend staying here.

A beautiful setting tucked away in a corner of a very large lawn/field and half in the surrounding trees. Very peaceful with all the household amenities you'd need. Paula and Tom couldn't have been more helpful with lots of suggestions for places of interest and eating.

Great place to stay with beautiful surroundings. House was as described and clean, and the host was responsive and friendly. Would recommend anyone travelling to South Wales - 5 Star

Lovely place to stay, close to family I was visiting. Easy to get into and very clean.

A really nice place to stay and very good walks in the area. Pub very close as well! Very quiet and relaxing and it had everything we needed!
