Graeagle : locations de vacances avec salon de jardin

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Really cute spot, exceeded our expectations. We were there on a snowy winter weekend, and the unit made for a cozy retreat. Unit was well stocked with heaters, blankets, games, beer/wine, and a fully functional mini-kitchen. The view of snowy pines outside the door was serene, with many passing deer and birds. Portola is a cute location too - grocery stores, thrift shops, and restaurants nearby. We spent our free time exploring Graeagle, running near Lake Davis, soaking at Sierra Hot Springs, and birding in the Sierra Valley Preserve - all of which are nearby. Recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Mark and Chelsea’s cabin. The spa and flat back yard were lovely. Everything was cozy. My only suggestion would be to offer guests the garage during winter. This was the first cabin we stayed in where the garage was not offered to us as guests and we spent a lot of time shoveling and blowing snow to get our car out of the 44 inches of snow that accumulated constantly over our 3 night stay. That combined with the long steep driveway and the plow blocking us in each day by dumping the driveway snow in front of the parked car outside the garage wasn’t totally ideal, but on the bright side the powder was amazing for skiing, sledding, and building snowmen so hard to complain too much bc we had a great trip!

We stayed two nights here while visiting the Crystal Hermitage garden. It’s a beautiful and peaceful home and only 7 mins drive to the garden. Highly recommend this place if you have a large group. What an absolutely charming place!! Tucked up into the mountain between Belden & Quincy, this place is BEAUTIFUL & feels so secluded and peaceful, but is only 15 minutes from the adorable town of Quincy. Feather River is gorgeous and I pulled over 100 times to soak in the view/many waterfalls. For how remote this place is, the cabin was CLEAN! We have stayed in lots of small little remote cabins over the years and they always have spiders you just can’t seem to avoid up in the mountains. But this place was clearly very well taken care of and did not have any insect friends wandering inside that we saw. The toilet in our original cabin that we booked had an issue, but they were super quick to help us and move us over to another cabin. I was very impressed with their quick response and how friendly they were! The lower half of the site has an incredible “beach” area, this time of year it was a perfect spot to sit and read and watch the rapids! I definitely hope to visit again soon!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Janet’s place. It was peaceful, relaxing, beautiful and comfortable. The home was spotless and well equipped with everything our family of five needed. We cooked many of our meals at the cabin. The location is minutes from Graeagle and is located on the Feather River. There are many places to sit and relax around the property and on the banks of the river. The indoor and outdoor furniture were both comfortable and plentiful (we don’t always find this). We could see the care and intention with everything in and around the cabin. Our family enjoyed the deck in the morning and evening and had wonderful meals and game time at the large dining table. It was a very hot during part of our stay (we stayed for five days) and there were fans in all rooms; the cabin stayed nice and cool. Janet and Kristin were always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Wonderful place to unplug and relax. We loved everything especially the record player in the room. We listened to every album. They love dogs and my pooch had so much fun pretending he is a big mountain dog. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the area. It most certainly is rustic but not roughing it. My favorite way to travel. Plus the hot springs are nearby! So much outdoorsy fun to help you feel alive ❤️

It was a delight to stay here! The place is huge, and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked. Comfy furniture, comfy bed, game room downstairs! My family in town were excited to come up and see the porch on Main St! We need more places like this in Portola, very cute!
