Teresa’s place was perfect. We only stayed for one night while looking at campgrounds but we felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. The place was clean and had tons of items to use in the kitchen. The views outside were stunning!

If you are looking for a place to host a family or small corporate gathering in peaceful surroundings, this is it: Main (lowest level) floor has smaller kitchen, but 3 bedrooms. Two large dining tables (each seating 10) are on two separate floors. This makes for good meeting space. Two large common/living areas (each with a TV) on the same two floors. Two bedrooms on third floor. Ping-pong table is in large screened-in room attached to the house with a sturdy, wide board walk. Pool table is on second floor near the larger kitchen (3 ovens) We also used supplied kayaks on Lake Norris. Large fire pit in backyard. They provided one package of laundry detergent for our two-night stay with 14 people—you must wash any used towels before you leave, which is fine and expected, we just didn’t bring detergent because usually Air BnB homes supply enough. (Vacasa responds quickly, so had we noticed, they may have supplied more) Grocery and retail 10-15 mins.

My family of four was very comfortable here. It was exactly what we needed as we had booked a fishing charter on Lake Cherokee. The immediate neighborhood was a little rough looking but once inside the house all you could see is the beautiful views of nature behind this home making it feel private and tranquil. The amenities here were far more than what you can get at a hotel for the same price, we definitely would book again!

Sue was was a perfect Host, We had a unique personal issue Sue quickly and professionally addressed. The house was as exactly described. Worth the walk to the river. we loved the special treats left in the house for us, Thanks!

This is our second stay at the lake house and it absolutely exceeded our expectations (again). Last year we had all sunny weather, but this year we had a little rain during the weekend which actually allowed us to take even better advantage of the house. From watching the rain from the peaceful back porch to the many board games inside, we had plenty to do. The location is private (we saw 2 people walk down the road one time) and the access to the lake cannot be beat. Katie is easily the best Airbnb host I’ve had the pleasure to work with - very proactive in communication and responsive to any questions. I could go on and on, but just trust me when I say, this house is an absolute gem.

The cabin was beautiful. Check-in was hassle-free. Joel was very responsive and friendly. The immediate area was peaceful and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping spots within minutes.

Our host was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and even checked in to make sure everything was going well. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and hospitality. We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! We chose this cabin because we needed somewhere that we could bring our cat and dog with us, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and well-maintained it was. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of adventure, the pool was small but was refreshing and clean. Our kids were literally in it for HOURS every night! The games provided endless entertainment, making it a perfect spot for family or friends to unwind and have fun together. The cabin itself was cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t recommend this cabin more – 10/10 experience all around!

We stayed here for 2 weeks while waiting on home renovations to be completed in our own house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, and we loved the long driveway with extended area for additional parking. We appreciated have full use of the garage to park our cars out of the son and rain. The house was comfortable for our teenagers and two pets. Beautiful fenced in back yard that our dog loved. Kitchen was very nice for making meals and we appreciated the coffee supplies. King beds were very comfortable. Wrong time of year for us to enjoy the pool area, but would be super fun during the summer time and we appreciated the pool table/ping pong area for gathering friends during long, warm summer nights. The only draw back were the shallow bathtubs. Perfectly fine for bathing children, but if you’re a teenager or adult who enjoys soaking tubs, best save the soaking for the hot tub in the backyard. ;) All in all, it was a nice and comfortable stay.

Great place for families! The kids loved the indoor pool and we had what we needed to fix family meals at the cabin. Thomas was super responsive whenever we had a question.

This cabin was a weekend getaway for me and my husband who just got married this month, and it was just what we needed!! We loved the hot tub! Everything was very clean and we felt at home. Very relaxing! Highly recommend the location as well! 😊

Had a great experience. Mike was very responsive when we needed something. Felt like home with the leather recliner in front of the TV and fireplace. Only recommendation I have is to invest in a new king bed. The mattress seemed to be close to the end of its lifecycle. This was my first experience staying at an Airbnb. I'll never stay at another hotel again.

Absolutely beautiful cabin in the woods! The hot tub was our favorite part. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We felt right at home. We will be back again!

The cabin is wonderfully cozy and well-planned, with every detail carefully thought out for comfort convenience. The layout is open and spacious, and the large windows allow you to enjoy the great views. The wood upstairs had a lot of charm, while modern amenities and an ultra-modern downstairs ensure a comfortable and fun stay. I had never been in a house with so many TVs! The host was also very welcoming and gave helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. It was clear they genuinely care about their guests having a memorable stay. I highly recommend Heron’s Hideout for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. It’s a hidden gem!

JW’s home was a great place to stay! Very homey and comfortable! Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Absolutely loved the game selection! Out in the country but not too far away from town! Would definitely return if we’re in the area again!
