This was our second stay at Douglas' and I hope I will be able to return in 2026. This is the most clean and tidy place I have ever stayed. I felt right at home and was completely comfortable. Communication was great and ease of access wonderful. I wish everywhere I stayed was as nice!

This is a great stay. Very clean and very responsive. The WiFi is not great but otherwise zero complaints.

This place is great! Host was very responsive and helpful. Walking distance to the heart of Saugatuck. Only thing I’d say is it is a multifamily home so you can hear people walking in the upper unit. Nothing too crazy but noticeable noise. Overall cute and great property.

Such a great place to stay. So CLEAN!! Nice hosts! Had everything we needed. Quiet location while being close to so much! I usually don’t love staying somewhere attached to the house- but this was by far the best experience we have had with a spot like this!

Super cute space. We are also very conscious of our environmental footprint and appreciated the attention to this. I was not anticipating the steep stairs for the second floor unit - plenty of guiderails and light but not easy to carry more than one object/bag at a time. The bedding was very comfy and decor was cozy.

The AirBNB was clean, the bed was comfy, and the hosts were responsive. This is the best AIrBNB in the area. My family lives in Lowell and this place feels homie and is better than any place or Inn to stay at. I went for walk around the neighborhood and the town people were super friendly!!! I will be staying here again!!!!

We stayed here for 34nights while I was working in the area. Great price for the space. When I had a question I had a response within minutes. They even accommodated an additional guest of mine that was added after a few weeks of checking in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The internet worked very well. The kitchen could have been stocked a bit better with basic cooking ingredients such as cooking oil and condiments as well as saran wrap, ziplock baggies. It did, however, have aluminum foil which was helpful. It was a very easy drive into Saugatuck, Douglas, and Fennville.

This was the perfect little studio getaway for a weekend with my daughter. The space was cozy and clean with just what we needed. I loved having a kitchenette with fridge, stove and tea kettle and a little breakfast nook. The bedroom has a bedside table with easy access plugs and a little TV. It was perfect without being cluttered. We were walking distance to downtown with lots of options for restaurants and museums. The surrounding Heritage Hill neighborhood is beautiful and street parking was easy. Thach was an excellent host and the instructions for getting in were clear. We had a wonderful stay!

Cozy place, highly recommended

I stayed for a month. My time here was comfortable and relaxed. Nicole and Santiago went above and beyond in terms of communication and fixing anything that was out of place in the house. They overnighted a new coffee pot, laundry basket, and cutting board when things were missing. They allowed me to bring my dog, and went as far as to have water/food bowls for her and a personalized towel to clean her paws. The house has central air and heat which was awesome during winter. Covered garage that opens via an app. Beds are comfortable and free laundry in the basement. You share the house with someone downstairs, but I never had any noise issues! I was able to sleep post night shift without waking up once. Cute, comfortable, and peaceful neighborhood to stay. Close to coffee shops and workout classes nearby. Great hosts, thank you so much for having me!

It was the perfect place to stay to explore Muskegon and Grand Heaven. Joe made sure we were taken care of and very responsive with any requests. His place is cozy, comfortable and a great mix of modern conveniences with the charm of the original home. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat and hope to soon! Thanks Joe!

What a pleasant stay, and caring, responsive hosts! We had a perfect weekend winter getaway, and Cherie was very accommodating with a perfect, clean and reasonably priced home for our family. Located near everything, we highly recommend The Treehouse to all!

Our second time staying at this great “no frills” location close to GVSU. Communication from the host was excellent. A clean unit with a very comfortable bed. Read amenities carefully, as there is no hair dryer, soap or other essentials. There is coffee, tho. ;-).

Excellent instructions for check-in; the place was spotless! Awesome location that was walkable and safe. Incredibly cool building with features from its past life as a school. The unit had everything we wanted and needed. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at this Airbnb! It was very nicely decorated and homey feeling and the hosts really pay attention to details. We would definitely visit again and wish this trip was longer!

This place was beautiful with lots to do downtown in walking distance! The space was kept clean and it was exactly as expected. The only things of note are that the traffic can be heard a little bit while staying in the living room with the pull-out bed (but it is not too bad at all) and that the wall between the bedroom and the living room does not completely reach the ceiling (as the pipes need to travel through). Regardless, the place was super accommodating, had everything we needed, and even the pool and hot tub were a great experience. Thank you for a great stay!

Tarah was a great host! The place was in a great location. The condo was so nice. Lots of extras, very cozy, and clean. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again!

We loved the arcade games, darts, hottub, popcorn machine and that we were able to park in the garage. It was the perfect spot for a girls night. Adam responded very quickly and instructions on getting into the place and check out were very clear.

Apple Blossom, the private one bedroom apartment where I stay within a fourplex in the Vine District of Kalamazoo, was lovely! Well-appointed, clean, and quiet, it was like a home away from home. It was convenient for all my needs, whether I was driving or walking. Very central. And I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND any of Tom & Julie's properties in this area, as they are the BEST HOSTS EVER! So helpful, and knowledgeable about the local area, and Michigan in general. Responsive and kind. Made my trip epic!
