Just such a beautiful location! The room was perfect for our weekend stay with super comfy beds, lots of space, nice kitchen area. Staying here is a great home base for exploring the area! Unique place to stay unlike any place we’ve stayed before! The views are breathtaking!

I needed lodging in the off-season, half for medical reasons and half just to relax. I chose this place because it was available, reasonably priced, and close to Machias. The lodging that had rooms available were far out of my price range. I wasn’t sure that I’d get what was advertised, but I had no other choice. Well! I was blown away! I fell in love with this place in winter. It must be even more spectacular in the summer! My room, as advertised, had everything I needed. The bed was pillowy comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. I took daily walks to the ocean to recharge. I met two of the staff who were so friendly that I felt like I was family. I didn’t have a dog with me, but other guests did and I LOVE when a place accepts pets, especially large dogs. I never understood why a place will accept small to medium sized dogs and not large ones. Large dogs are usually the most laid back. I recommend this place just on that fact alone. Peaceful. Serene. Beautiful.

Unique, and historic! The room was much bigger than anticipated. I love that we had access to the observation tower. There were yard games and magazines available for communal use, which was also just such a nice touch. The kitchen had everything you could've needed (utensil and appliance-wise). Waking up and watching the sunrise from the observation tower with PJ's on and a coffee in hand was the PERFECT welcome to the East Coast. Opening the window in the tower to hear the sounds of the birds on the water, to feel the cool breeze from the ocean, and to smell the salt in the air, were some things that I'll just never forget. The drive to the lighthouse is short, and if you were in the mood for a moderate walk, you may even be able to walk it. The views from the lighthouse are just amazing. There is a stairway to take you down to the water, where we found cool rocks, tiny crabs, and we even saw a harbor seal! I would absolutely stay here again. It was well worth every dime!

A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Melissa was a wonderful host. Her place is clean and well stocked with useful and thoughtful items. Melissa was very helpful with local recommendations and reached out to help us troubleshoot dinner options when the power in town went out. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars all around!

This place was absolutely amazing. It was cozy and felt just like home. The hosts accomadeted us and provided us everything we needed for our stay on Grand Manan. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Joann's, place is one of the best places on the island, clean, quiet and peaceful, we'll put together she put a lot thought in Making you feel comfortable. Lots of instructions and go beyond leaving little things in the unit given that there's not a lot ooptions on the island...LOVE THE SPOT.

Excellent stay! We were visiting family in the area and Laura's place was perfect. Lovely setting right on the water. The apartment is clean and fresh, The design is warm but minimalist and quite spacious. It was easy to prep our breakfasts in the mornings and we found some amazing hiking trails about 6 minutes away. Highly recommend!

The house was better than what it looked on the photos. It’s the best location on White Head since it is beside a very nice sandy beach. There’s another even more beautiful sand beach within 20 minutes walk (not accessible by road) where we spent a lot of time. The house is fully equipped and we liked the fact that it was still full of the presence of the family that inhabited it. It felt warm and comfortable. It’s obvious that the owner is working on the place to make it even better. There are new washer/dryer, new windows and porch, etc. We had wonderful weather and we were always amazed by the coming in and out of the foggy clouds on the island. The landscape was very interesting to watch, with birds and seals, rocks, shells and urchins. Vaneessa was always available for any questions or help.

Quaint does not begin to describe this lovely place. A great experience throughout and the tips from the owners regarding things to do and see made the trip even better.

What a beautiful place to stay! Denise welcomed us, and took us on a tour of the house. Her house is equipped with everything you need, it was awesome. the home was clean and very comfortable. The nature cant be beat! The sky at night is of course incredible, as is the beach right across the road. Beautiful stones, a rockhound would have a ball. I cannot wait to go back!

The entire home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay to receive the new year . The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Josh and Vianca were exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing everything  we needed to feel at home which made the trip even better. The decorations, the deck, the kids section, lake, mountain, and location really made it feel like home away from home. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place with a great host, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

The house is in a great location - you can walk to restaurants, beaches, hiking trails and gift shops! There is tons to do. We felt right at home and it was very clean. We had everything we needed and more for our stay.

We loved our stay at the House of Dreams; it was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the cove. Jason and Aimee left us some thoughtful treats, and the home was beautifully decorated. It was fun perusing the library including great info on the local flora and fauna. The beach was only a few steps away and it was so restful to hear the ocean and hunt for treasures on the beach. We would definitely love to return!

Beautiful view, and house. Kitchen had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation away from home. We had such a wonderful time just relaxing at Lloyd’s place and taking in the view. Would definitely come again. Thank you Lloyd 👍
