Great place to stay! Quaint cabin that encourages spending quality time with others and is an escape from reality. Cabins close to the road definitely get road noise, but as city dwellers it did not bother us at all! Well worth it.

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

Darren's cabin is exceptional! Everything is as shown, but so much better in real life. the cabin is beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful, unbeatable views of Lake Michigan. it was the perfect place to spend a holiday weekend with beloved family, playing games in front of the fireplace. Darren was a responsive, kind and accommodating host. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it.

We loved it here! A gorgeous view of the lake from floor to ceiling windows, big comfortable beds, a spacious game room, and a relaxing hot tub amongst the trees. It was a perfect fit for our family of 5, and we would book this cabin again 🤗

Truly a perfect location with a stunning view for a peaceful getaway! Super clean (highly impressed with the cleanliness) and had just about everything we needed in the house! Love everything about it and would definitely recommend this place to others.

the stay at the maple cabin was very amazing very clean and the cozy cabin was amazing, I would recommend the stay. if you need ideas or recommendations for where to go Becky definitely knows the area and gave a great breakfast place. during the stay we got to be in the snow fall which made everything look amazing!!

And absolutely amazing and beautiful place to call home! Excellent location, for adventures and explores of what the surrounding areas have to offer, or if you are looking for a remote quite getaway! This is the place to have the best of what you desire in a lake cabin!

Very cool home that had everything we needed!

This little cottage is in a perfect location. It’s quiet and the sunsets are beautiful. It’s small but a great size for spending time up north. We enjoyed it a lot!

Toby’s Spider Lake home is a great find. I cannot wait to return. Location is excellent, just about 20-25 min from downtown TC. We spent our days exploring various trails, and spent our nights cooking in the super-well-stocked kitchen and dining al fresco on the wonderful back deck overlooking the lake. The house is so clean and comfortable. Toby is an amazing host, even greeting us with a bottle of local wine! Could not have asked for a better experience.

We loved our stay at the Bentley Cottages! The cabins are exactly as pictures, rustic but functional. The views are spectacular as well as the setting. Charming old camp, like what cottages used to be when our parents went up to Lake Leelanau. Our family lives down the road as well as friends, so a perfect spot for our family. Can’t wait to head back up next August! Thanks James for sharing it with us.

We had a great time here! The house was quaint and cozy. The property is private and peaceful with a lot of amenities! It’s close to Traverse City but far enough out that you have the rustic feel. We would definitely come back!

Great place to stay for our small family! Being able to bring our dog along was awesome. The surroundings are beautiful, it would be a wonderful place to stay in the summer.

Immensely enjoyed our time at the Cabin. It has a lovely view of Spider lake and the cabin comes with 5 kayaks, which was great. The two cabins are comfy and have all the features and amenities one needs in a cabin up north. Chris was a very responsive host, attentive to our requests and made us feel at home right away in the cabin.

Ashley was a great host. No surprises upon arrival (we got in at midnight, so that helped a lot!). Great communication. Easy to manage. Basics all there. Lovely breeze from the lake most days. LOVED the minisplit for heating (went down to low 40s a few nights!) and drying (a few days of rain). So we stayed comfy. Rooms tiny - but workable. Lovely walking trails accessible by foot. Definitely would stay there again.

Would absolutely stay here again (or any of this family's other listings!). We went during February but the views were still GORGEOUS. The home itself was perfect and wonderfully decorated. We went for a girls weekend so the loft was a bunch of fun for us all to sleep in. The location was also great. Probably 5-10min north of Traverse, but right on the main road so it's incredibly easy to get to all the restaurants, stores, and downtown breweries/distilleries. It's also far enough north that it makes trips to wineries on Leelanau peninsula even easier. 10/10 recommend!

Heaven on earth. So cozy, charming, comfortable. Sunsets on the dock every night were magical (thank you SO much for leaving the dock up!!) We had the BEST time. Thank you!!!!

Abundant Heavenly Views! Saw so many shooting stars in the big night sky. Fun as we travelled to different very unique buildings for our needs…1. Cozy little barn-like sleeping quarters beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bedding. 2. bathroom building so unique with rain shower inside (and outside shower too), nice big farm-style sink & fresh towels 3. Unique kitchen/gathering barn w/great sitting area to enjoy morning and dinner table. Minimalist kitchen w/everything you need to cook a complete meal! We grilled burgers on outdoor charcoal grill! Had a bonfire at night which wood was provided! Had so much fun here with my grandkids and family!

Our stay was wonderful! It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend up north. Close to Lake Michigan and Traverse City, but also peacefully tucked away in the woods for a secluded and relaxing stay. Thanks to Troy for being a friendly and attentive host--we look forward to staying there again!
