Grand Union Canal : séjours à la ferme

We loved our stay at Grooms Cottage. Dee and James the hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating to us. This property was comfy and inviting and we made good use of the woodburner on the chillier nights. There are wonderful views of the rolling South Northamptonshire countryside beyond the impressive and n grounds of Lodge Barn where Grooms Cottage is located within.

Im in love with this place i recommend it to all everything was perfect and clean and they also have put eggs and milk so sweet 💖definitely will come back 😍😍😍thank you for everything

Relaxing weekend at White House Farm Holiday Cottages. We had everything we needed and Angela was very flexible with the check out time and responded quickly to messages.

The accommodation is located on a campsite, which creates a very cozy atmosphere. There are plenty of walking opportunities with little to no road crossings. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped for 4 to 5 people. The beds are comfortable, as are the sofas and other furnishings. Communication with the host was excellent, and we also had a contact person from the campsite available. Highly recommended!

The Stables is a truly lovely space. It’s beautifully appointed, spacious, and so peaceful. We loved walking to the grocery store and the little restaurants in town, and Oxford was easily accessible by car or bus. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Situation is very quiet with views over the fields to the canal. The house was spacious, immaculately presented and extremely comfortable. We particularly appreciated the Christmas decorations. There was a generous welcome pack and Amanda was lovely. Braunston is a very picturesque village with an excellent local pub and good supermarket within walking distance from the Airbnb. Highly recommended.

A very nice little place to stay for 2 people living room/ kitchen was very spacious and not cluttered. The bedroom was spacious and didn’t feel cramped whilst still being a nice cosy place to stay. Would definitely recommend if your a couple and want a nice affordable getaway and felt very private and cosy.

We were pleased with our stay in the Annex at Newton House. The accommodation was a good size, and was very clean. The bed and linen were very comfortable, the bedroom was large. Newton is a very small quiet village, we enjoyed the silence and the views. Parking was immediately outside the door. Brian and Georgie communicated well, made us welcome and were flexible. We would recommend the Annex if you want a tranquil escape.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Gorgeous little place, just stayed here for one night with a friend as a good spot in between the north and south. Brilliant log burner, good shower. 3 pubs in walking distance and shop across the road. Perfect for what we needed.

We had a really great Christmas stay at Paul’s place. The location is rural, tranquil and perfect for a city getaway. Paul was really great at communicating before we arrived and for ensuring we had everything we needed to get settled in. The barn is recently renovated and has a fantastic kitchen for those who love to cook. The log fire is perfect for a winters night. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Amazing place - perfect for a weekend! Tom was great at showing us around when we arrived and responsive during the stay - even dropped us off some milk the first day! The Barn was nicely decorated and had a ps5, switch and netflix which we used - definitely worth a revisit 😊

Great few days staying at Victoria’s place. Both Victoria and her mother Linda were lovely and very helpful. The children loved the grounds and the garden area. The house itself was small and rustic but very well equipped. When we had a problem with the boiler we were invited to the main house which was very kind! This is a great option for people who want a quiet, charming and relaxing base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

Excellent stay in this peaceful spot. We felt right at home. Cosy bed and it was perfect size accommodation for me and my dog Tiggs. Gardens were beautiful and so peaceful. In the morning it was so idyllic. Victoria was a fab host and super friendly. The cake on arrival was gorgeous and even offered me a cooked breakfast. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We went with friends for New Year. It was perfect for us and a good space to socialise. The barn is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable. The icing on the cake was the hot tub it was a perfect temperature and so lovely to relax in.I would highly recommend Louise and Andrew’s barn. A true gem in a pretty village 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Well what can I say. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Susan was epically organised with the communications. The Loft was beautiful. I’ve had the privilege to stay in lots of places around the UK and this stacks up against the best hotels but has the added benefit and flexibility to have your own space. Everything has been thought about to ensure an easy and luxurious stay. The accommodation is high tech, which I loved, and honestly it was so well equipped. We stayed with my two children and it was just perfect. Every added touch. Plus the benefit of having breakfast things already there and the upgrade of extras as needed throughout the stay such as wine. Loved also the electric car charger right outside. Would 100 per cent recommend and I will be staying in this or one of Susan’s other glorious properties again in the future. Thank you.

A lovely, clean and welcoming place set in beautiful countryside. Comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen that was perfect for cooking. Tracey was responsive and proactive in checking we had everything we needed. The check in process was made very easy thanks to the photos of key elements. We had a lovely, peaceful weekend.

Lovely converted barn with own patio. Very well stocked of all essentials. Super clean. Very peaceful whilst being really close to major roads. Don’t worry about being so close to motorway as you can’t hear it inside there cottage. A great place to stay.

It is a delightful barn studio with subtle touch of beauty in the design, handy compliances and great privacy in a beautiful suburban neighborhood. Fionuula is great with communication. The only pity with my trip ( and the beauty) is that I stayed there during Christmas holidays, when very limited bus service was available and no shops or restaurants nearby. So for any guests who want to enjoy a quiet retreat in this lovely place, make sure to get some basic food and drink before hand. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the beautiful place and views around the house.
