This location was exactly what we wanted & the hose was very responsive. There are steep stairs inside that were difficult for my grandparents, so it’s probably not where you want to stay with older family. The living room area is small and not a lot of seating. If you wanted to hang out inside all day during cold months with a large group, then it’s not ideal for that. We had several things planned and spent most of our time out doing things, so it was totally fine for us. A large group would be fun during the summer with the pool and very large deck outside. It was extremely clean and the host was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. I would totally recommend it to friends!

We loved staying at The Hammock! It was a beautiful/cozy home that fit 14 of us perfectly! We had extras over for dinner and Danielle was accommodating with our guests! We will definitely look to stay here again next time we visit the Ark!

Great place. Perfect country setting and loved the pool / pool house setup, very relaxing. House was great for our large family and had great design aesthetic with specific attention to details. Would recommend and would stay again.

The perfect place for us to use as a home base for our granddaughter’s wedding 5 miles away! We all want to come back when we can utilize more of the amenities that are available. We did get to spend one night doing nothing besides going to Alexandria Brewing Company for Dinner (great food and atmosphere by the way) and back to the deck to enjoy the scenery before all the crazy of the wedding festivities began on Friday! ❤️

Great stay and location. We visited the ark and creation museum and this was affordable and conveniently located between both. The hot tub and play room was great for our kids! Highly recommend!

Awesome house with room to spare. Almost two whole separate living quarters. Wonderful porch across the entire back of the house overlooking the pool and the stately rolling hills of the working horse farm. Beautiful horses are constantly in sight and the whole place is super quiet and relaxing.

We loved the farm setting, huge living spaces, pool table, and quirkiness! Living spaces were perfect for a large group to be gathered at times but then also spread out for different activities or playing games. There are hundreds of books to enjoy, kids’ toys, games, and cards. Plenty of plates, cups, and silverware. We visited in winter so we couldn’t use them, but the large screen porch, pool area, and outdoor fire pit are amazing and we all agreed it would be fun to come back in the summer! One of the two lower-level bedrooms can only be accessed by walking through the other bedroom or through an exterior door on the pool deck. There is a door between but privacy is really diminished for both. Especially because the shared bath can also only be accessed from the walk-through bedroom. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend getaway. We would definitely stay again!

This home is a beautiful ranch. The surroundings are breathtaking. Our group had ample and comfortable lodging the nights we were there. It is wonderful and we look forward to returning. Should they add more sleeping options, it would be an even more captivating location. Cindy was super and everything was incredible.
