This is the 2nd time we have rented this home and just love it. Kristen communicates very well and is very responsive to any questions that we have. We feel right at home here. We enjoy the view of the bluff❤️. Quiet neighborhood. We love the Harpers Ferry area. We look forward to our next stay!!

Probably the nicest house in Harper’s Ferry. Located on a beautiful piece of property. Will book again if I make it back to NE Iowa.

I was looking for a place to spend a few days with my parents in their 80th and we absolutely loved it there. All of us enjoyed sunsets, river view, air, fall colors, fireplace. Décor of the house made us feel right home. The kitchen is well equipped: everything you need to cook if you chose to do so. Don’t expect commercial level fishing from a river bank, but we caught variety of fishes -enough for couple of fry-outs and fish soup. We had most luck fishing at the Riverside Park. Mary was easily reachable with amazingly fast response time and very helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb.

This place was perfect for getting a large group of friends together. There was a bed and dining room seating for everyone and we got plenty of use out of the firepit and even the water slide even though it was chilly. The location is great, right on the Mississippi and only an hour from Dubuque and Prairie Du Chen. Cassville, just a short jaunt down the road, has all the basics you could need and the state park nearby has awesome views from the bluffs. On top of all that Jennifer was a wonderful host. She was quick to respond, accommodating, and has bunches of recommendations for the area. Overall it was great stay.

Came to Harper’s Ferry for a wedding. What a great place to stay. Close to everything. We had a great time and have wonderful memories. Thank you so much!

Very comfortable and homey accommodations. Firepit is a huge enjoyment. Tiernie is amazing with communications. Highly recommend Tiernie and her get away.

We had a GREAT time at Isaac’s place. We arrived in a snowstorm that increased our travel time by 50% but Isaac’s checking approach was so easy and straightforward that it made us wearied travelers feel right at home. The home was spotless clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a great family gathering with our “boys” and their wives. We did go for a brief hike at Wyalusing state park— breath-taking views, especially with the fresh snow cover.

This was our second stay and we are thankful to have a quiet, easy to stay at place in Platteville. It's easy to find and Vikki was responsive to any questions we had. The bed is quite firm, more than we are used to, but overall it's a clean and quiet place to stay. We highly recommend.

Cindy's place was amazing! The location was right on the river with a beautiful view from the patio. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and historic! We enjoyed the river walk and heard live music at the brewery within walking distance! We would stay again and will recommend to our family and friends! Tricia

Mandi’s place was ideal for a peaceful, quiet get away. We loved sitting on their deck watching the eagles, pelicans and barges go by. There were various places to hike nearby as much or as little as we wanted. We chose Effigy Mound National Monument one day and Pikes Peak State Park the other and both were well worth the time spent. We went to the pub - restaurant literally across the street for a lunch and sat on their deck enjoying the river scenes. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed for meals at t home. The bed was comfy and we slept great! We reserved this gem again before leaving!

As the person who always beelines for the binder of local information and reads it cover to cover when staying at an Airbnb, this place was a dream! I learned so much about the area from Anita’s historical writing and plethora of brochures. I will definitely be back thanks to Anita’s hospitality and the cozy feel of the place. The perfect location to explore nearby parks with great bluff views and visit all the local small businesses!

Looks exactly like pictures. Friendly heads up that if you have bad knees or hips, the stairs are steep and extremely narrow. Flooring felt uneven as well but got used to it. I’m 6’ with long legs but I would suggest a grab bar to step into the tub and some additional weights on the shower curtains as they kept sticking to me which was unpleasant. Mostly quiet, could hear some cars racing down the street overnight and the squirrels running on the roof in the mornings. Oven and microwave worked. A short drive to my weekend destination of Galena, IL. Thank you for preserving this beautiful building!
