Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

Very helpful and responsive hosts. Whilst it's a small apartment, it had everything I needed including off street parking which is hard to find in Ulverston. 2min walk to centre of town.

What can I say. A fabulous find and a place we will certainly visit again. Quaint, easily accessible. Parking no problem, just get a week or 3 day pass in the two car parks on the hill. There are so many things to do. I will write these in the book. The fire is great, bath and shower to suit all tastes, the rooms are perfect for a small family / 3 adult travellers. Communication perfect from the first point of booking to leaving. I cannot speak highly enough. All the things you would need for a stag away, home from home. We will hopefully be booking again shortly. Thank you Emma and John x

Tom's flat is beautiful and in a quiet street with shops nearby and only a short taxi ride from the train station. Responsive host and I would definitely recommend staying at his flat.

Situé à deux pas du centre ville et des départs de randonnée, cet appartement est idéal. Au calme, confortable et bien équipé, avec emplacement pour la voiture appréciable. Janet et Mark sont très réactifs et disponibles. Nous recommandons cet appartement qui a en plus une belle vue sur la campagne anglaise.

Had a great long Bank Holiday weekend in Herdwick Heft..The apartment is small yet cosy..clean..modern and had everything we needed for our 3 day getaway.The accommodation is situated right in the heart of lovely Ambleside with all its attractions..great views from the bedroom too and the bonus of a parking space.Communications with Amanda was excellent with a smooth check in..we could highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Second time staying at Rebecca's place, visiting family who stay in the area. Again I could not fault the place, spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout with a great central location. Will definitely book again the next time I am visiting the area. Thanks Rebecca!

What a lovely find. We have been to so many Air BnB's and this one has to be one of our favourites. immaculately clean, lovely location with lambs and sheep right across the road, everything you need for a quiet get away. We will definitely be staying again when we are in the area, thank you!

Fabulous apartment just as described. Clean, comfortable with an excellent position for all amenities. Parking space is a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to repeat.

Very clean, exactly how the photos picture it to be. Had all the necessary amenities - even a vacuum cleaner and a drying rack for clothes + many hangers which came in handy when we wanted to air dry our laundry after washing. Place was extremely spacious and we loved the big bathroom as well :) All in all, a very wonderful stay at a lovely, pretty home! Thanks, Pam! Only downside I would mention is that the entire floor is carpeted so you have to be careful not to spill anything! But it was great for keeping warm so

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Great apartment, centrally located in a stunning area. Alison gave us clear instructions and was very responsive. The parking permit was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Alison!

Well worth the stay, private parking and secure. Have stayed in a few properties managed by CJ and they have all been great.

Great place to stay and explore Keswick and Derwent Water. John was very pleasant and helpful. Very clean and ample parking space for a large car.

We had a lovely stay here, had the best sleep ever and was wonderful to wake up in the Lakes with great walks so close by. Also got some great recommendations from the host for food and places to go. Would definitely recommend.

Michael was incredibly fast at responding and very helpful when I got lost on the way! The apartment is clean, a good size and has everything you need for a long weekend stay - a home from home! The spa facilities to use were good too.

We booked this stay for a girls night and it was perfect. The host showed us into the property and was very helpful when we had a question about the oven, he came over to help straight away. The place was clean and tidy and in a lovely setting. The hot tub was great and the beds were really comfy. We went for breakfast downstairs and that was lovely too, we would love to come back here :)

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.
