My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in March 2025 - absolutely loved it! So peaceful, great location, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Lovely quality bed, bedding and towels, big smart TV, modern kitchen and bathroom and the whole place is alot more spacious than the photos! Beautiful, thoughtful and very generous welcome gifts - fresh bread, fruit, choccys, milk … and a really well stocked pantry, kitchen and bathroom. Lisa was an excellent host and was always very responsive to any questions I had. The views from the living room, master bedroom and kitchen are absolutely stunning, and we loved having sunset drinks outside on the back deck, listening to the birds and having some of them visit us too! It’s an easy 5 minute drive to Terrigal or North Avoca beaches, you could walk but it’s very steep uphill on the way back. We highly recommend walking up to The Cowrie restaurant for dinner - it’s a short 5 minute walk and easy at night time too. Amazing restaurant- a must!

Ainslie and Dan's place is outstanding in every way. It is very comfortable, beautifully furnished and well-equiped for self-catering. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious. The upstairs living room has a balcony with a view of Lake Macquarie where you can watch lovely sunrises. The availability of a double garage was super helpful as we have elderly parents and this meant that they were able to enter the house on the flat. The area is quiet and the lake is a short walk down a short but steep hill which presents no problem for those who are fit. Toronto is just a few minutes drive or about a 10 minute walk where there are lovely coffee shops. I highly recommend Ainslie and Dan's place. We had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful accommodation with amazing views. The house was very tastefully decorated and we felt very much at home. Lovely tranquil setting and lots of kangaroos and wallabies on the property. Hope to stay again one day.

We had such a relaxing and comfortable stay! We stayed for one night as we had an event on the next day but we only wish we had stayed an extra night and made a weekend of it! The property is immaculate, everything is kept so clean, tidy and neat. Plenty of space, there was only 3 of us but perfect place for 4 people. Nice large living room, spacious kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The backyard was a great space, gardens are gorgeous, nice bbq to use and fully enclosed which was awesome as we had our doggo with us. Lynn has been super thoughtful, so many nice little touches with everything you could need and more for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great family vacation at Susan's place. Susan's house was very cosy with all the amenities required. Highly recommended. Susan was very accommodating to all our needs.

We had a lovely girls' weekend at this house. It was spacious and clean, and we appreciated the breakfast supplies that were left for us. The location was convenient for our needs, and the view from the verandah was lovely, especially at sunset. We even saw some kangaroos in the mornings, which was a surprise. The house was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our host was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to offer us an early check-in and a later check-out. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful week at this beautifully maintained 3 bed 2 bath home in the Hunter Valley. As a couple in our mid-sixties visiting from the UK, we found it to be a peaceful and very comfortable base for exploring the region. The house was spotless and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for enjoying the evenings with a glass of local wine. The location was quiet but well placed for visiting nearby wineries and restaurants. The hosts were helpful and answerd all our questions. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay - would definitely recommend

Alan communicated often and well. He was there for checkin and checkout, but also gave clear instructions should he hsve been out. Excellent service

Great spot, would recommend and would stay again. Conveniently located for exploring the local area (I had my car so cannot comment on public transport, but was very convenient to have use of driveway). Safe, quiet, spacious enough for a single person/couple and all the amenities you could possibly need are included. Lovely extra touches with the milk, chocolate, cereal and cold water in fridge etc.

Jans place was great We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. The apartment is decorated beautifully ,clean, well equipped and gorgeous views. Would highly recommend.

We loved staying here for the Summersalt festival! We did the coastal walk one day which was very close by, and there were heaps of places to eat within 5min drive. Wonderful hosts, lovely little touches like breakfast cereal, milk and fruit and lots of tea to choose from. Can recommend!

Fabulous stay! Cannot recommend staying at Parkway enough! From the location to the beautifully appointed apartment. It exceeded our expectations and we will most certainly be returning. Perfect place to unwind and spend a weekend.

Terry was a wonderful host, he was watering the garden when we arrived. We brought our two dogs with us and Terry grabbed them a water bowl after the long trip. The unit was easy to fund and well signed. We loved the personalised sign near the door welcoming us. The unit was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We were within walking distance of the beach and a few cafes. The local restaurants and vistas were excellent, we would definitely stay again. Thank you so much Terry, Kiara & Josh

glad we found this gem. great location, close to the lake, pub, beach etc … plenty of privacy at the same time. we really loved the stylish interior & cool decor, the serene garden is a peaceful retreat as well. Brad’s local knowledge and hospitality made our stay even more amazing. will be back.

Ian ist ein großzügiger und zuvorkommend Host. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. Alles ist vorhanden, vom Nachtlicht bis zur Wärmflasche. Ian hält ein tolles Frühstück mit super Kaffee bereit. Der Platz auf der Terrasse ist ein Vogelparadies und lädt zur Entspannung ein. Diese Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich schön!!!! Danke Ian

Very friendly hosts, had everything we needed and loved the continental breakfast.

The photos do not honour the room. It is even better in real! Very clean. Bedding really comfortable. 10 mn walking to the city center. 5 to the beach. Car Park available. Anne is really kind. Don’t look further and book the room!

We had the most amazing stay at serenity by the lake. From the second we arrived we felt so relaxed. Leah was a great host & went above and beyond to provide everything we would need for a relaxing stress free time. From the generous breakfast provisions, pantry full of food, extra toiletries incase we forgot anything and the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and fishing rods. Nothing beats sitting on the jetty with a drink watching the most amazing sunsets this place has to offer. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away for a couple of nights.
