My daughters decided last minute to compete in a sailing regatta at Toronto Amateur Sailing Club, and Monica's Studio was a lovely home away from home for a Mum towing a trailor with two boats, two children and a dog. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for us to make bacon and egg rolls for breakfast, and prepare racing lunches. With everything going on I didn't get the chance to say hi to Monica in person, but her written communications made me feel very welcome. Being so close to the park was perfect for the children and taking my puppy for a morning "bathroom" walk down to the lake was a lovely start to the day. Next time we have a regatta on the lake I will be booking in Monica's Studio well in advance.

From reading some of the many glowing reviews prior to our stay, we were feeling pretty confident that a great Airbnb was ahead. Well, to say that Deb and Carl exceeded our expectations is an understatement. In life, every now and then we are blessed to meet some exceptional folk and these are two of them. Deb and Carl went above and beyond to ensure that our family had the most wonderful, much needed week away. They were always on hand with helpful advice and gave so many fabulous recommendations to enhance our stay. They made sure that we had everything we needed - and then some! The apartment itself is fabulous. Perfect for the four of us. We loved being such a short walk to the beach and so many amenities all within a 5 minute walk. We couldn’t recommend this more highly. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Jenny und Eric sehr genossen! Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Badezimmer sehr großzügig mit genügend Platz! Von der Unterkunft ist man in nur wenigen Minuten direkt am Strand mit dem Auto. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Stayed for two nights with my partner. The property is located on a beautiful spot with vineyards, ponds, trees, and views of the surrounding valley. The welcome gift was very much appreciated. Would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for hosting us!

We love staying at Christine and Ron's place. We first stayed here a few years ago and we knew we would love to come back. It didn't disappoint. They are just such lovely people and so welcoming and helpful with anything they can do for you. The kitchen is well stocked and they leave some much appreciated welcome treats. Their place is also lovely. Its lovely peaceful setting and close proximity to Boat Beach is wonderful. For those who are young and fit it would be an easy walk to Number One Beach as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great place - spacious with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of supplies. A very convenient 5 minute drive to Pacific Dunes golf course. Would definitely stay again

Great place! We had a lovely stay in Nelson bay. The unit was easy to find, very comfortable and spotless.

The space was such good value for Money with luxurious appliances and homewares:) The wireless technology was state of the art. Unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to experience the outdoor film experience. We really appreciated the late check out offered. Will definitely return to stay:)

We had a wonderful stay at Josie’s pool house. Everything was excellent. Josie was super friendly and proactive with wonderful recommendations and always available for any requests we had. The pool house is properly relaxing, the pool, hot tub and mini golf were a lot of fun, we enjoyed spending quiet time and star gazing at night while enjoying the hot tub! We enjoyed all the little extras Josie left for us in the pool house too to make our stay extra comfortable. This is an amazing place to stay when visiting Port Stephen’s, fabulously located close to everything but still very private - the view was stunning. We loved Josie’s café where we enjoyed some yummy brunch - thank you for the extra coffee coins! We will definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Britt’s place. The unit was well appointed with all the amenities and large enough for our family of three to spread out. Our little one really enjoyed playing with all the toys and reading the children’s books - such an added bonus we weren’t expecting but really appreciated! Great location - so close to the wineries and Hunter Valley attractions. Britt provided clear instructions which made the check in / check out process smooth. Would happily stay here again.

Our stay at Karen's property was fabulous, just the right peaceful mini break that we so needed. The whole property is beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, you can even have a few shots of golf. We all loved the pool such a nice added Bonus, we were there every day after going to the beach (or even before some days haha), it's lovely at night with the lights. The guest house is exactly as per the photos in the ad, actually, it feels a bigger space than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked to do some cooking if needed. Our 8 yo boy loved spending time with Zoey (their dog), who is just gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, he also really enjoyed being in charge of feeding the chickens and checking for eggs :-). Karen and Richard are lovely hosts, super accommodating and friendly but also respectful of your privacy, the perfect balance. It was a lovely stay and we hope we can be back soon, our son has already asked when we can go back. Thanks again Karen and Richard :-)

Like the other reviews say, Terri and her husband Adrian were fantastic hosts, and I can’t think of anything they could have done better. They really went out of their way to make sure we felt at home, had everything we needed, and even went wayyy above and beyond in regards to meeting some needs we had with our 20 month old daughter which we hadn’t planned for. The area as well as their property is beautiful, the sunset on their property amazing, and we had the beach to ourselves (which was only a kilometer or so away). In short, best and most relaxing holiday we’ve had and we can’t wait to come back again.

Linda’s place was a pleasure. It was more spacious than I expected. Everything was clean and functional. The bed I slept in was comfortable. The garden was relaxing. There was a wallaby to greet me in the morning and I heard possums calling in the distance at night. The location was perfect for me , close to my friends in Cooranbong. Thanks Linda

Wow- this place is amazing, just like the pictures. The neighbourhood is lovely, the apartment was modern and clean and the pool area was idyllic. But what really makes this place special are the hosts Megan and Nic. They were so lovely and welcoming and could not do enough for us. And there is also an added bonus if a great little dog called Alfie, who was soooo cute. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The property was easy to find and was just as described. James and his wife live in the main house and spotted us arriving. James came out to say hi and let us know he was available if needed and then left us to it. The property is compact but well laid out to make perfect use of the space. There is room relax on the sofa, chill on the bed or get to work in the kitchen. We also enjoyed a cuppa on the deck watching and listening to the waves roll in just a short distance away. We enjoyed one short walk before the weather rolled in, so will need to return to see more of the local area including the beach and pink caves. Will definitely stay here again if needing accommodation in the area. James was the perfect host.

A fantastic place to stay for a few nights or even longer, Paul is such a great host. The home was exceptionally clean, the spa bath was absolutely delightful and his instructions are very very clear! The surroundings?! Beautiful and we felt right at home. I’ve already begun recommending Paul’s stay to all our friends.

Friendly, helpful and warm hosts: the boathouse sits under their home on the main road through Toukley at the bottom of a set of wooden steps. There is a cute jetty on the lake which is very shallow and weedy, but pretty as a picture and facing north. Cosy and compact, the boathouse had the basic necessities you’d need but not the creature comforts or luxury beachy / nautical vibe we had hoped for. Being so close to the water and at the bottom of a steep block, it is very cute but also very damp, and could do with a dehumidifier being run for a day before guests stay to make it feel a little drier. Thanks for your hospitality!

Elizabeth's place was fantastic for the two of us. It was pristinely clean and tidy. The photos matched the description of the property accurately. Location was perfect, being 300m from a patrolled beach, and a short 500m walk to patrolled ocean baths. It was near to plenty of cafe's and restaurants, and close to bus stops. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, with excellent communication skills. She was proactive with instructions and information to assist us in our stay, including suggestions for activities alternate to the beach/pool. We would definitely stay again.

The nest was one of the best air bnbs we have stayed at by far!! Attention to detail is incredible and we felt right at home!! Kerry is very welcoming and accommodating, leaving a lovely welcome gift as well. Would definitely recommend the nest to anyone and will be booking to come back 😊

We had the most amazing stay at serenity by the lake. From the second we arrived we felt so relaxed. Leah was a great host & went above and beyond to provide everything we would need for a relaxing stress free time. From the generous breakfast provisions, pantry full of food, extra toiletries incase we forgot anything and the kayaks, stand up paddle boards and fishing rods. Nothing beats sitting on the jetty with a drink watching the most amazing sunsets this place has to offer. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away for a couple of nights.
