Relaxing, cosy first floor apartment with a beautiful view from the beachfront balcony. Apartment a little difficult to locate and on a dirt/rough road. Contact with local gentleman Abdi required for check in which took a little time. Several restaurants just a short walk away but not much else in the area... good location to unwind after Stonetown! Abdi was around to assist for anything necessary, and was kind and helpful during my stay. Hassan was a huge help when I left an item behind in the Airbnb, transporting it across the island for me to collect it. I'm most grateful to both Abdi and Hassan for their generous assistance during my short stay and would recommend this apartment for a relaxing break.

We have stayed at Federica’s place twice now and both times it was such a delightful and relaxing stay. We love the place and Federica is an incredible host. The house keeper, Mrs. Aziza is friendly and helpful!

The host was very kind and helpful. It was my first visit to Diani, so it took a little adjusting to how our journey had been leading up to this part. Our tuk tuk driver was excellent and we felt comfortable getting around once we understood our surroundings. The staff was available when we needed help.

I stayed at Lydia's place for 5 days with my family.Lydia's place exceeded my expectations! the welcome was good, she responds very fast to her clients. the place is neatly kept! ever clean. and ofcoz a cake surprise on our last day was lovely! I recommend her to anyone travelling to Mombasa.

He enjoyed our week stay in Amari’s place. It was very spacious and a. Great view of the ocean from the living and master bedroom. I would book again.

My husband and I stayed here for over three months. Sekela and her family were very friendly! We had stayed in a hotel near here before and liked it so much that we decided to stay in this area for our next long stay. And we stayed this place as our home. When we first arrived, we had a small problem, but we could instantly get in touch with Sekela on her mobile phone and she solved it straight away. After that there was no inconvenience at all. The Wi-Fi worked smoothly, we had very few power cuts, and when we did have a power cut, they immediately switched us to a back-up system. In front of the house is White Sands Road. It is a paved road, but the traffic is not as heavy as other roads, so noise is not an issue. Sometimes we can go out for a walk or a jog. We didn't have a car, so we used Bajaj a lot. Despite the traffic, this small car was very comfortable. The drivers are friendly. It is also safe to have a security guard at night. Thank you very much!

My friends and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my cousins 30th birthday. We had a such a lovely time! Perfect size for a group of six and the cook Hussain made the most delicious food. The rest of the staff was also really kind, responsive and professional. The Airbnb looks and feels exactly like it’s described and it’s only a boda ride away from shops/restaurants/atm/Ukunda airport. The wall through the property to the beach is also really short and sweet. I 100% recommend staying here if you are in Diani!

Excellent home with beautiful furnishings, as described. The chef recommended was excellent, flexible and accommodated different diets exquisitely. Ilya was pretty responsive during the stay but Margaret is the house lady who is there for your needs and is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was very hot the week we were there but the fans in the living room helped, definitely appreciated the A/C in rooms which worked well. I would certainly recommend this place to friends and family!

Amazing experience, we loved staying in Mikhail's house! You can feel and see the care put in every detail, both in the house and in the garden. The surrounding is peaceful while still being in the heart of Diani town with access to all main shops and restaurants. The compound has also a direct private access to the beach, well secured. The swimming pools are clean and great when travelling with children, sunbeds are comfortable and practical, and in the garden there are external showers and a bar space. The terrace is very cosy and perfect to spend quality time all together. The house is beautiful, with very spacious rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, very clean and with all the necessary space for your things. Esther, the lady managing the day-by-day stay, is very responsive and helpful in case of anything. We enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return. Totally recommended!

When you enter the bohemian house you feel right at home and don't want to leave ever again. Rama, the chef was also a highlight during our stay. Rama has always a smile on his face and prepared delicious food. 4 huge bedrooms, large pool, just a walk away from the beach ( through the gardens). We hope we can come back next year. Perfect communication with owner.

We enjoyed staying at Garys place a lot. We appreciated the most 1) access to a beautiful beach with very few people; 2) amazing and authentic style house with wonderful balcony; 3) hospitality of local employees who prepared delicous meals and took care of cleaning the house. We thought that for kids a pool will be needed, but during our stay they actually enjoyed a lot to the ocean - playing in the water and collecting sea shells. Not far from Garys place in a walking distance are few interesting sight seeing spots. Highly recommended!

Dolphin House is a truly unique place and experience. The position directly on the beach is priceless - I could never get sick of the view! There's a good balance of home comforts and the privacy of the house with still feeling connected with the outside, the community and just generally being in Zanzibar. We spent all of our time in the outside space - rotating between the sofas, the loungers on the beach, the table and the pool. It's incredibly well thought out and comfy! Rudy and his local team were always on hand. The chefs, in particular, are exceptional - while you are handy for plenty of restaurants and bars, we enjoyed every breakfast and most of our dinners at the villa. When you have the best spot on the beach, there was very little reason to leave!

It’s 2 bedrooms apartment with comfortable beds. It’s very clean apartment and couple minutes a way from the beach. It’s has all the amenities I could as for such as utensils to cook and high speed internet. I’ll recommend anyone to rent. Thank you Maithya.

Le logement correspond à la description. J’avais logé dans un autre logement à Stone Town lors d’un précédent séjour mais je préfère celui-ci car il est plus authentique et l’hôte est très accueillant et chaleureux, nous a donné des recommandations de restaurant pour nous aider. Les logements au rez de chaussée sont un peu sombre car les fenêtres ne sont pas ouvertes mais c’est à cause du centre ville. Très bien situé

we had a really nice stay. Happy is a very responsive host and always helpful. apartment is nice and clean and the cleaner comes regularly. One time she even noticed the sink was having issues and immediately called the fundi to repair it. The location is great, right in the centre of Masaki. internet works well and we were able to work without issues. We will definitely be back!

We had such an amazing time at this house, I'm ready to go back and my birthday vacation just ended. Our host gave us all the instructions some of which we didn't know we needed- we had no questions prior to check in and the actual process was easy. Everything about this house is adorable, a beautiful space. They said beach front, we got exactly that and moving around to town was easy. I especially loved the fact that since we had no access to the kitchen the basics were provided to us and honestly as someone who prefers to eat out while on holiday, this place was perfect. It's obvious our host takes pride in his place, and as a guest,we couldn't help but treat this beautiful, aesthetically designed space with care and the same respect. Our bed was super big, super comfortable, The shower water gets nice and hot so showers are a dream. So glad I stayed here & it was the perfect getaway in every way. both logistically and aesthetically. I hope I can stay here again and again

We stayed 11 nights and had a great time. The host was super responsive, Fred who takes care of guests day to day was amazing. The apartment is beautifully furnished with a view over the gardens and ocean. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, it also has a big balcony. You definitely know you in the topics with monkeys on the balcony and gardens, we loved that! It is in a really convenient location with a large multi floor super market only a short walk away plus lots of shops and restaurants within an easy walk. It was safe with security at the main gates and in the complex. The beach is only a 2 minutes walk. Lots of tuk tuks passing by to get around. We had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend! We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort's location on Garoda Beach, arguably the most beautiful beach in Watamu, is fantastic. We appreciated the convenience of being right by the beach, with easy access to the resort's sunbeds and pools. Additionally, it was nice to be within walking distance of places we enjoy (LichtHaus, the gym at Temple Point, and Kobe restaurant) We had the opportunity to stay in both the double room and the Cactus apartment. While we thoroughly enjoyed the Cactus apartment, the double room could get some improvements (real double bed and not twin beds put together for ie and some refreshments in the decoration).
