Super good location, great restaraunts and stuff to do walking distance away. Hilda is super sweet and her place is incredibly nice and spacious! Nearby to a bunch of spots with wifi also and a 24 hr cafe.

Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

Al Nisaa Hotel and Spa was a pleasant surprise in Jinja, with great service and outstanding spa services. It is a small boutique style hotel with clean and spacious rooms, one of which had a tub, which I booked. The room with a tub does face the street, so there is traffic and mosque noise early in the morning. The rest of the rooms are in a separate building adjacent to the main building but further away from the street, so much quieter. I had several massages and the quality of therapist was excellent. The staff helped with food and activities. Would definitely choose to come back.

We loved staying here! The accommodations are comfortable, peaceful and great for the price! The food is delicious and you’ll be stuffed full the entire time! I’ve been traveling and living around Tanzania for almost 8 years. I can say this is some of the best home cooked food I’ve ever had! If you are needing to stay near the airport, this is the best option!

Liza and Raphael are great hosts. The house is simply fantastic and you immediately feel at home. The location was perfect for us. It's not so touristy and crowded there. Really pleasant to enjoy the island. Hatibu and his team take great care of you and you feel very well looked after. The food was fresh and delicious every day. The manager Hatibu is always available and fulfills your every wish. For me there is really nothing to complain about. We stayed here for a week with the whole family (6 people) and at the end we really didn't want to leave at all. It is one of those places that you would prefer to keep to yourself. An insider tip. Hilda and Gido, such wonderful hosts they are. Very welcoming, hospitable, and friendly hosts. I really appreciate them and will most definitely come back. The home was so beautiful, nicely furnished. I recommend it any time any day.

My husband and I had previously stayed in Saidi and Sarah's other available room, but moved to this accommodation when we extended our stay with this lovely couple. Having experienced both options, I wish we rented this room for longer! This room was fabulous. It is quiet and cosy and gets a great breeze through the space. The mattress is extremely comfortable. It was a comforting and restorative place to go back to at the end of the day. The breakfast provided was delicious. The location is easily accessible to the bus, tuk-tuks, and multiple markets. It’s a quick walk to the beach and to good restaurants. Sarah and Saidi are amazing hosts who made my husband and I feel extremely welcome, supported, and comfortable in Jambiani. Truly, we would have been lost without them and their welcoming and kind nature. We hope to return to Jambiani again, and when we do we will certainly return to this room!

Beautiful beach bungalows. Great atmosphere, great breakfast, great location, so great that we extended our stay by 2 nights. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and assisted us in hiring a moped to explore the island. Vanessa is a great host, very easy and flexible. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Sunset Lab. It's the perfect location to both explore central Watamu but also to be right at the beach. A beautiful garden followed by the sandy beach bar and the beach itself. For whatever mood you're in, it offers the right setting. Even though I didn't travel to Kenya to have Pizza, I had to try it. And it was excellent. Matteo and his staff were always very friendly, helpful and always available when I needed them. At one point I needed to see a doctor, they immediately called one who saw me at my room within a half hour. Thanks again, Matteo, and all the best for the future. Cia, Max

Jua House, exudes calm and tranquility. Pale colours and clean spaces invite book reading, chilling and time to unplug. Amani and his team couldn’t be more helpful. Hot showers after a morning swim in the sea, Belgian waffle towels and a banquet style breakfast was our daily morning routine. After this we retreated to the top floor with views all around. The hush of the sea stirs in the background. Fresh baking bread wafts up from the bakery on the ground floor. Village life occurs around about, so you feel part of the Shela community, who are welcoming and helpful. It feels like a privilege to be here in Lamu. Thank you.

Beautiful stay at Lalacabana, room was gorgeous and clean, beach was a 2 minute walk away with wonderful restaurants, and the amenities were everything you need and more (lovely pool and even lovelier restaurant for great prices). Thank you Lalacabana!

female traveller1st time Kenya. felt totally safe at Andrews villa and in the area. Andrew was welcoming arranged for me to picked up from Mombassa airport safe friendly driver Harman. airline lost my luggage 4 days! Andrew kindly brought me 2 pairs of shorts. all staff are lovely, friendly all men apart from Zawadi cleaner I felt totally safe. room lovely clean 5 min to beech/restaurant. I had meals at villa too Farim is an amazing friendly chef caters to your needs goes above&beyond. security Kazungu friendly and put me at ease. gambo my motorbike driver always available to pick me up or take me where I want. took me to Gede ruins , Malandi etc. all staff lovely safe quiet area (I here low season). 1 issue hotwater not connected to room Andrew going to sort and no Wi-Fi, data expensive keep in touch with family however don't let this put you off highly recommend Andrews Villa. Quiet compound located just off a main road. Close enough drive to city center and beach areas. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and check in was easy. Very secure and the guard was kind enough to wash our car very thoroughly. Garden is spacious, good for kids to play and burn off some energy. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay again if in Tanga.

Wir hielten unsere 2. Traingswoche in Body Alignment in diesert fantastischen Unterkunft ab. Wir wurden bestens be treut vom sehr freundlichen Personal, das uns dogar einen Schwimm-Coach für unsere Kinder organisierte. Casa Grande wurde zu unserer Heimat ind ein Ort der Freundschaft. DANKE!

We enjoyed our stay. Seraphine and JP are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and there is access to some common areas. It's also nice to support a women's cooperative. Location is good - close to restaurants and not far to the Volcanoes NP HQ (25 mins).
