Great stay at Ian’s place (that looks much better than the pictures). Great view on the forest that you can enjoy during a barbecue. We were a group of 10 adults there. Helen is very helpful! For a big group of 10 like us (especially if having tall-format people) I recommend to bring an extra mat because thee double beds are really small.

Karen Little Paradise is a wonderful, peaceful place in the suburbs of Nairobi. The owners and the stuff is very helpful and very friendly. You can order breakfast and dinner and eat it outside in the garden. Dinners are very tasty and what’s special - they are prepared with the ingredients from the farm in the resort. Rooms are simple but clean and cosy. we stayed in two types of room, we liked both but the room called “standard double first floor” seemed to be a bit more modern than the “standardroom”. During your stay, you can go for a walk in the garden, the gardeners are happy to tell you about their crops. besides, there are many place worth seeing nearby like Giraffe Centre, Nairobi national park and karen blixen house - all accessible by short uber drive. totally recommended

We were a friend group of 6 and stayed 2 nights at Zambarao house. It was absolutely peaceful, relaxing clean and the perfect get away for the weekend. We played board games (they have 50/50) and read read books on the terrace, just a perfect uncomplicated weekend away from Nairobi. I would go back again.

We absolutely adored staying at Nathalie’s & Nick’s cottage. A very unique experience being able to walk into their re- wilded bush to see the beautiful giraffes. Lovely food was provided by Natalie. We felt right at home in the cottage. It was also great to see & hear about their inspiring work in their local area . Thank you !

Pacifica's place was great to stay at. She was close to the mall, within great promixity for most taxi and food delivery places. The house was nice and cosy and she was a thoughtful host to even leave us an extra blanket just in case it was cold.

Such a great and lovely place. I can gladly go there again

Pierluigi and Claudia are supportive hosts and their location is a handy base where to start family activities, such as visiting Hell's Gate, Soysambu, the geothermal bath and the shores of lake Naivasha. We stayed over with our kids and they enjoyed the garden as well as the wildlife and birds in the surroundings. The house is furnished with a basic kitchen; it has no actual sink and Pierluigi and Claudia arranged for dish washing services, which we appreciated. The main bathroom is downstairs and it has a shower; the house is equipped with basins which helped to organize baths for our youngsters. We would definitely go back, especially with a large group of friends since the house has many beds spread within 3 rooms.

Having stayed in a number of cottages around the Green Park area, this was the pick of the lot. Excellent (large) cottage with superb company from Kiki, Otto and Monty (dogs). Great view back down to the lake.

We loved our stay at Buyala Bliss! It is so lovely and peaceful. Gorgeous views of the Buyala Falls. Isaac and Claire were both very helpful and Claire is a fantastic cook! We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely come back!

We stayed in both houses for the weekend with a large group. Hosts Oscar and Sylvia were super flexible in accomoding additional friends that wanted to camp, even last minute. Beautiful surroundings of the greater Mara area with wildlife around. Chef Richard made great food for us exactly as we had asked for and was very timely. They went to great lengths providing our large group with an mess tent so we could enjoy the outdoors even during the rain :) The staff was all super friendly and everything was organised well. Communication with Oscar was very quick and helpful. Would most definitely reccomend to other groups wanting to explore the northern mara area. I wish we had more time to do some local activities. Hope to came back sometime soon! Philip

Beautiful spot near the lake within short walking distance to take a boat to Crescent Island. Ruth was really helpful and let us leave bags and check in a bit early. The fresh milk from the cows next door and the friendly dogs were a great bonus.

We loved every moment in Patrick's house. It was peaceful, serene, the sound of the river was wonderful. Patrick was very helpful, friendly and warm along with his wife Milly. The dogs were lovely. Spike is a lovely girl while Princess knows who she is 😊. Overall it was a lovely experience and will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed my stay at Monica's. it was really peaceful. the house was immaculate. the pillows and linen so cosy and comfortable. it was so nice to walk around and to sit on the veranda and read a book while watching the birds and horses, and of course to play with her dogs! I highly recommend this Airbnb

Elizabeth’s place was AMAZING! The place is much better than the photos. Extremely clean, safe and very well taken care of. You have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to be ready to cook. Also in this place is where l had the best hot shower so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stop at Nanyuki and visit mount Kenya & Ngare Ndare Forest. 100% recommend 💚

Amazing stay. Rustic, beautifully furnished and the landscaping as well was top tier. Bed linen and towels were top quality, the coffee machine and blender were a pleasant surprise. Fast wifi, stable electricity, the cottage is secure and easy to access. Clean, fresh air with an amazing team at your service. Joyce is an amazing host and Debbie was truly hospitable and made the breakfast including really good smoothies. Will definitely be booking again.

I Had the loveliest weekend!! The whole place is so beautiful, serene, peaceful and welcoming. Lydia and her family are kind, thoughtful, and very accommodating. The room was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything I needed. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Mary's place is wonderful and absolutely worth visiting. While here, we had dinner prepared by Mary's mother one night at a very reasonable price. At dinner my wife mentioned our desire to see a masai tribe, so Mary and her mother arranged an affordable day trip to go meet a masai tribe in a traditional village where we had the opportunity to buy some of their wares and learn about masai culture. The room itself is wonderful but also wonderful are Mary and her mother and the gorgeous property in which the room is located. The town nearby is simple but with solid and affordable food and some nearby gyms. Highly recommended!
