Enormous 20th Century guest house – comfortably fits 4 couples/children, with dining and living area, plus enormous gorgeous garden + gazebo fit for a hotel. Housekeeping staff were present and helpful throughout

Alicia’s house is beautiful, extremely tasteful and serene. The beds were fantastic, the sheets delicious and the kitchen was beautifully stocked. Alicia’s team - Sophia, Isaac and Paul - were wonderful as well. They supplied us with plenty of firewood, smiles and guidance. The game drives were incredible and we even saw an awesome hyena and jackal conflict on the drive way in. Perfect home and setting - we’ll definitely come back. Thank you!!

We had an amazing two-night stay while visiting Ngorongoro Parks and Manyara Lake Park. The house was incredibly comfortable, featuring three clean and cozy bedrooms that made us feel right at home. Our host, Lozar, was exceptionally friendly, always available to answer our questions, and even brought us breakfast and fresh fruits each morning. The house itself was beautiful, and the backyard offered a fantastic space for relaxing, complete with a BBQ grill and a cozy chill-out area. Nights were quiet and peaceful, ensuring restful sleep, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed walking around the safe neighborhood, which added to our sense of comfort. The location was perfect for exploring both Ngorongoro Parks and Manyara Lake Park. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

We enjoyed staying at Garys place a lot. We appreciated the most 1) access to a beautiful beach with very few people; 2) amazing and authentic style house with wonderful balcony; 3) hospitality of local employees who prepared delicous meals and took care of cleaning the house. We thought that for kids a pool will be needed, but during our stay they actually enjoyed a lot to the ocean - playing in the water and collecting sea shells. Not far from Garys place in a walking distance are few interesting sight seeing spots. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay on a budget! Location was very easy to find. Restaurants, beach and amenities are very close by. Cissie was a great host and very responsive, helpful with recommendations as well.Definitely got value for my money. Highly recommend.

Das Haus ist wirklich rießig und sehr komfortabel. Die Einrichtung ist super und teilweise sehr modern. Auch die Aussenanlage mit dem Pool ist fantastisch. Es war alles sehr sauber. Nur die Bettlaken hatten ein paar Flecken. Für die Anreise braucht man auf jeden Fall Allradantrieb und auch für den Aufenthalt braucht man ein eigenes Auto, da keine Bodas zur Unterkunft kommen, da der Berg zu steil ist.

I was a very nice place, very clean, and peaceful. the host is very professional and the place is just amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to go back there next time.

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

Our family had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely property! We truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. The large Bluetooth speaker was perfect for keeping us entertained throughout our visit. We were also impressed with the showers—the water pressure was fantastic, making our showers very refreshing. The rooms were spotless with clean sheets and excellent air conditioning, ensuring we slept comfortably every night. The highlight for our kids was definitely the rooftop pool, which was the perfect spot to relax during the hot afternoons. A special thank you to our host, Amina, who was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay, unfortunately shorter than we had planned but Katelyn was extremely accommodating and the cottage was cosy and comfortable with really nice personal touches to make us feel welcome. The cottage was also located in a great area close to everything you might need.

I loved John's place, it's warm comfortable and adequately furnished. James the caretaker was very attentive and a available. If you love nature this is the place to go for beautiful views and surroundings.. it's so peaceful. If you are hiker there is an interesting and scenic trail to venture to... You need a 4WD or Study high car for the 12km rough road to the house. Will definitely visit again... Thank you John and James for your warm hospitality.

Calming, mindfulness, relaxing, cozy, getaway… and the likes what I keenly look into and these were all and more for this place. Cleanly and very well kept, it kind of shows passion of the owner especially the interior modern cozy style of it. Loved it 😊

This is our second time staying here. Easy to find and has quick access to and from CBD. Its the perfect place if you value privacy and calm topped by the fresh countryside breeze and air. We enjoyed the views from the balcony. Thank-you Joan.

The location was perfect for me and the unit is in a very secure community. Overall, my stay was good. The place wasn't dirty, but it wasn't super clean either. The main sliding glass door also didn't lock so the unit was never fully secured, but I was able to lock my belongings in the bedroom.

Abdillah was patient and waited for me even though I arrived late by bus. He made me feel at home by taking me on an evening walk around Lamu and showing me great places to eat. He also recommended a reliable captain who took me to Takwa Island and Jaluo Village at a fair price. I truly enjoyed my short holiday in Lamu thanks to Abdillah. If I visit Lamu again, this is definitely a place I will consider staying at.

Comfortable cabin with a beautiful garden and amazing views of Mount Kenya. Really close to rock climbing, shopping centres, and restaurants in Nanyuki, The Ol Pejeta conservancy and Ngare Ndare forest where you can hike and swim in natural pools depending on the season. Great for a weekend getaway :)
