It was a wonderful weekend getaway! We went up here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday in a peaceful way and to disconnect from the outside world. It was homie and beautiful all around. We were able to bring our dog and he enjoyed running around, bathing in the sun, and visiting the cow! We will sure be back once late spring/ summer hits! So thankful for James and Sofi to open up their cabin to us!

We stayed at Whistle Pig Farm over Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind for the week. The kitchen was so well stocked, and had everything we possibly could have needed. The grandparents loved lounging and baking in the warm, open spaces, and our 3 year old son loved playing with all the house toys (so nice!), saying hi to the chickens each day, and going on walks to throw rocks in the creek. Would absolutely stay again - thanks Anne and Tom for sharing your lovely home!!

Our second visit to this peaceful cabin. The hosts are wonderful and made the trip extra special for our birthday girl. We explored nearby towns of Dillsboro and Bryson. Wonderful restaurants and local shops. We drove ‘the tail of the dragon’ on our route in. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Looking forward to coming again.

Apple cabinet is the best place to stay in Western North Carolina!

We had an amazing stay! The place was beautiful and peaceful. Wish we could live there all the time!

The cabin was beautiful and quiet which is what we wanted. I loved the decor especially the quilt that hung on the wall and the double sided fireplace was cozy on the cold nights. The cabin was close to Brevard and many hiking trails. Melissa was a great host, she answered all my questions. I will definitely stay here again.

First of all, let me start with saying that Margaret is an absolutely FANTASTIC host. I messed up my departure date and didn’t realize it until the day of, after check out time (first time that has ever happened to me, horrible!😭) and she was SO HELPFUL, so understanding and just the absolute best!!❤️❤️❤️ Margaret’s place is very cute and neat. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (the big Christmas mugs were my favorite!). I loved all the fluffy blankets and the electric fireplace was a nice touch too, since it was really cold this week. The view over the mountains and pastures is really pretty too and the house is very centrally located, close to Franklin but in a quiet area.

This is our fourth time staying at Beate and Robert’s, if that tells you anything! The cabin is wonderful, clean, cozy. But it’s the extras that make it. They have farm fresh eggs waiting for you. You can visit their Llamas, chickens, and donkeys. They are very responsive and considerate. We will always come back!

The Cottage was perfect! Quiet, peaceful, close to hiking trails, and the town was quaint with a country folk feel of the community trying to bounce back after Hurricane Helene. The little grocery store had what we needed to make breakfast for two mornings and dinner. The diner was great for comfort food after a days hike. We will be back!

My family of three had a magical stay at this charming treehouse! Dawne and Brian are clearly full of imagination and creativity, and the space is full of adorable and thoughtful touches. We were all wowed by the many decorating details and the clever use of space in the treehouse. It was cozy and comfortable, and we felt right at home. My 6 year old had a blast going down the slide, playing mini golf, and making friends with all the animals. The backyard at night is an amazing space to sit around the fire pit and wind down from the day. In addition to all the fun at the treehouse itself, the location is great—close enough to town for a quick drive to attractions, but in a quiet and beautiful wooded area. Dawne and Brian were very welcoming and took the time to chat with us, but also gave us space to explore and have fun—the perfect hosts! We had a blast and would love to stay again the next time we are in the area!

The farm is stunning and the animals friendly, the cabin incredibly cozy with everything you need, and Sharon is so kind, attentive and helpful. This was my favourite AirBnB stay in a very long time now.

My stay at Jack and Jen's was really lovely! I was in town for a conference and it was super nice to be able to just drive 15 minutes to downtown and then come back to something nice and quiet. The back screened porch was perfect for hanging out and just listening and looking at the world!

This is a magical place. It’s gorgeous and so comfortable. Lindsay is so accommodating and thinks of all the small details that make for a lovely, relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place!!

The house was an absolute gem! Clean, charming, and all the amenities for relaxing in the mountains—large outdoor deck with beautiful views, spacious fire pit area, large hammock in the screened-in porch. We had our two young children with us, and the TV loft stocked with tons of board games and puzzles was perfect for when we weren’t outside. The host stayed in great communication during our stay, and made sure we always had everything we needed. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area, but close enough to town (Cashiers and Highlands) for restaurants, groceries, and activities. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a great little getaway at Ethan's house. The house was well stocked, the mountain views were beautiful, and the bed was comfortable (and had cotton sheets!).

We absolutely loved our stay! Communication with host before and during our stay was extremely fast response times and always very helpful. They really pride themselves in giving you the best experience during your stay. The goats were amazing and so sweet our kids loved them. This is absolutely amazing placement if you’re wanting to visit any of the water parks with less than a three minute drive to them without having to get on any highways or main roads. We will definitely stay here if visiting the area again.

Our long term stay couldn’t have been better. Hope was always available and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to do this again.

This is our 4th time staying in the Watershed lofts and we enjoyed ourselves yet again. Usually we choose to come during the winter but it was nice being able to sit outside and enjoy the private deck this time. We always enjoy hiking the property since the National Park isn’t dog friendly. We love grabbing coffee in the morning at Cardinal Coffee at the bottom of the property and our favorite restaurant in the area is without a doubt is The Bistro at the Everett Hotel. Definitely recommend both of those spots! Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

This home was so close to everything you need but in such a private and quiet location. It so close to the parkway but yet you feel you are out in the country. We all enjoyed our stay and our granddaughter loved the chickens. We would all like to return to this home again in the fall.

Beautiful home and property 20 min from downtown Asheville. We had a great time feeding the animals and the property has great views of mountains in the background. It is close to Asheville if you want to visit the city and it is close to the mountains for good hiking and views. Would stay here again for sure.

Loved this house!! Felt right at home from the first day. The views are incredible and animals are precious! We enjoyed several of Kevin’s recommendations including hikes and local restaurants, and appreciated being so close to the grocery stores in town. Would definitely stay in this house again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Deerfield Cottage! The home was beautifully decorated, very clean, and well stocked. Our kids had the best time running around and exploring the property. It was the perfect location for our family to spend spring break! Highly recommend this home and can’t wait to visit again!

We had an issue getting access to the home with our choice but I was able to reach someone on the phone who resolved that quickly. The home is beautiful. Absolutely love the master bedroom with the balcony. When we had questions on the location of amenities we received responses fairly quickly. Location is perfect with a view and still still access to town.
