The view of the lake from the large back porch was awesome. A peaceful place to relax and explore the lake on the canoes provided. There was a green egg on site for cooking dinner. I’d highly recommend this location!

We had a wonderful stay.

We hope to return next year. It’s has very comfortable beds and pillows. Also the all the furniture through out were comfortable. Views through all the large windows were so beautiful. Enjoyed swimming in the pool at the campground too. People around were very friendly.

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

Travis did an excellent job and responded fast! We loved the house and amenities. I missed the note on the lake being drained, but we were informed. A few suggestions: additional seating in the front room, and hooks to hang coats/bags/etc on.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had! Loved the cozy vibe this place has and had a blast! Would definitely stay here again in the summer to utilize the dock and kayaks!!! 10/10

Could probably use a different cleaning crew. However, the place was lovely! Location great, property, beautiful & peaceful. The beds were great, clean, & plentiful. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating, & friendly. Even the lake itself was larger & more beautiful than I expected. I would definitely stay there again.

This location was everything the reviews indicated. The inside was clean and well kept and perfect for our family. The kayaks were the best part of the stay and the lake is beautiful. The outside does need some tlc to match the inside upgrades.

This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. We visit this area often and we are so glad we have found our home away from home in Waynesville. Thank you Steve and Susie for hosting us! Blessings, Steve and Amy

Lesley's place was clean and comfortable. Lesley is a good communicator and our needs were met with clear instructions. Beautiful area!

We needed an additional house for a family member's funeral. I actually went to find the house a couple of days ahead of our booking. Mary was outside so I told her I just wanted to find the house and see where it was. She took me on a tour of the apt. It's exactly as the listing says it is. There are a couple of low ceilings - especially in the bathroom. My son in law is 6'3" so he had to duck his head in a few places. The kitchen was perfect. Since our main house was a few miles away, we didn't do any cooking. If we were eating there, we just used the microwave. The coffee maker is only a 5 cup pot like they use in hotels, but I had a Keurig so it all worked out. (there were 3 coffee drinkers) On the + side, Mary did provide the coffee!! The beds were comfortable. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twins. We pushed them together for a king bed. Plenty of blankets, pillows and towels were available. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Very conveniently located just minutes from Jefferson City Health and Rehab which is what brought us to town. Nice lakes nearby and a few parks. We would stay there again.

By far the best airbnb host we’ve ever had super fast to respond to questions and the accommodations were better than described. Beds were absolutely marvelous woke up every morning feeling better than new. This airbnb is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Sandy and the unit

We had an amazing time at loriel and Adam’s place. While the weather was windy/cold and we lost power for a few hours due to weather, the views were breathtaking. The house was only steps from a beautiful walking trail around the lake, and only minutes from shopping/restaurants in Waynesville. Even under these circumstances, loriel and Adam were very communicative. Highly recommend this place!

My husband and I had a great time at strawberry inn! The location was perfect to do so much! We were only a few minutes from some amazing restaurants and coffee shops! And the Caverns were amazing! We would recommend her place to everyone and hope to stay there again!

Beautiful place to stay in the woods. The kids had plenty of places to run outside and they really enjoyed the kayaks and playing in the pond.

Nice, clean, peaceful, private, relaxing, and as described, except for internet. I did log onto the house wifi. The wifi was not connected to the internet. I had less than one bar of cell service. There was a wired land line phone on the wall, which had no dial tone. There were many notes with help phone numbers, but no way to call. Because I was seeking a quiet retreat, I did not mind this.

We loved our stay at Terry's place in the beautiful mountains of western NC! His place is super comfortable, bright, and convenient to everything. Terry was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay! While a bit remote, the house was really nice and exactly as pictured. It’s in a quiet and peaceful location on the lake. Bob was responsive and has the house well stocked. We especially enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on and exploring the lake.

Truly cannot recommend this place enough! The lake was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful, we spent hours reading out on the dock and I’m wishing I could drink my coffee there every morning! The house had everything we could possibly need and felt like home. It had so many thoughtful details and decorations throughout. Jeffrey is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful, and we are hoping to come back many many more times in the future.

The home was beautiful and well decorated with many small, thoughtful touches. The porch and hot tub were relaxing and perfect after a day of biking. The location was just a short drive to downtown and Pisgah. Host was responsive and quickly answered our questions. We will absolutely stay again!

I was happy to find a place close to our son last minute, but little did I know that she was just across the driveway! Great place for our needs. Looking forward to future stays.
