Great Torrington : locations de vacances dans des cottages

We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

Absolutely loved our peaceful stay. Tracey and Mark were very attentive and friendly, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of our highlights was the Italian themed delicious dinner cooked for us! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a mini spa break to switch off.

What a gorgeous homely cottage. The views from the kitchen are stunning and it is a luxury to have slide glass doors, especially when the weather is warm. Quiet location with many local pubs, the nobody inn has very lovely food and you can walk up the hill to the bridford inn where the locals are friendly and welcoming..

Nigel and Perry were fantastic hosts. On the day of check in, bad weather had caused a flood which damaged the hot tub motor. They warned us ahead of time and gave us the option to reschedule our stay or carry on. We’re so pleased that we picked the latter. They not only fixed the motor in time for our stay, but also left a bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy. The interior was beautifully designed, offering a charming modern vibe. It came well equipped with everything you would need in a home away from home. During our stay, we visited the wonderful Clovelly to see the gardens and waterfall. We can’t wait to come back for another great occasion!

Myself and 2 friends came to stay at Nicola’s Airbnb for 3 nights. We had an absolutely fantastic time, in the most beautiful airbnb I have ever seen😍 The views are out of this world, the property is spacious, so cosy, and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The property is secluded, however in driving distance from some wonderful places. We watched the sunset in Boscastle, visited Tintagel Cove, went to Polzeath, then spent a whole day in Newquay and Fistral beach. Today on our way home to Somerset we spent the day in Bude which was stunning, and loved the Cafe with live music. The hot tub takes a long time to heat up, approx 3 hours the first night, with constant filling with logs & stirring, 2 hours the 2nd night & then we returned back to the airbnb too late to begin heating it last night. Also the description states no towels available however there were towels & a cosy dressing gown available ☺️ Thankyou Nicola, I will be recommending this place to friends! ?

This was our fourth visit to the net loft and it was as good as ever. Looking forward to booking in our next trip already.

We had a lovely stay at the Honeysuckle cottage.Helen and Jonathan went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It was a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could ask for . Walking in to find homemade scones and jam, fresh eggs and freshly baked bread was a treat!! The cottage is in a great location and we found it quiet and peaceful.The hot tub was private and clean. Having a private garden made it easy to manage our dog as well. We have stayed in multiple air bnbs before, this one was special and we will definitely come back! This lodge was amazing, great value, big, spacious and beautiful. We really lucked out with the weather so could sit outside on the decking in the sun during the day. Lots of communal space for eating, cooking, playing games and chilling out in the evenings. Clean, tidy and with loads of amenities. Felt new and modern, really bright and airy whilst also being warm and cosy. Really close walk to the beautiful beach at Croyde and easy driving distance to lots of other beaches and things to do. Hot tub was an amazing bonus addition which we enjoyed in the evenings. Some reviews mentioned privacy and the campsite nearby - we weren’t worried about this staying in Feb/March but for anyone that is concerned there is now screen fence around the lodge so you would feel nicely secluded. Would really recommend - we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful base to explore North Cornwall, the cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Erik was very helpful and responded to any queries I had very promptly.

What a gem of a place. Tranquil, lovely views from the bedroom, cosy cottage with a relaxing modern feel to it. Thankful that Chris/Freya could accommodate at the last minute, as we booked the night before quite late. We had a lovely surprise when we arrived, to find out a few lambs were resting in the small barn next to our garden patio with their mamas before they could be released into the field. It was such a highlight seeing the lambs jump around and stretch their legs as we sipped our coffees in the morning. Great location, approx 40min drive to Heddon Valley (we did a 24km run/hike from Heddon to Combe Martin, with a stop and looped back), and it's a 12min drive to Withypool if you want to do a big circular loop approx 12km to the Tarr Steps and back. You will have suggestions of places to visit in the welcome pack and a mal on the wall. The cottage comes with all the kitchen appliances you need. We also got to purchase some fresh eggs too, tasty! A perfect short weekend stay :)

Great stay in Braunton. The cottage had all the home comforts and own parking space which was incredibly helpful. The location was fantastic for exploring Braunton and the North Devon coast. Nicola was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great hideaway through the windy lanes. great walk to the sea. Near woods. Nice clean space with good heating and comfy beds.

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

We loved 'Bramble Cottage' to have all the animals as your neighbours was fantastic. The cottage was exactly as shown on the photos, and beautifully decorated and furnished, it was in a great location easy to access Woolacombe and Combe Martin. We will be back when we can.

Lovely little cottage and suited our 3 night stay for 3 adults perfectly. Location is great and easy short walk into the heart of Braunton to shops, cafes and pubs. No parking at property, as stated, but it was easy to park in streets nearby. Cottage immaculate and cosy feel. Well equipped kitchen. A downstairs bathroom with a lovely bath/shower a bonus. Just be aware that if you are a taller person over 6ft there are some height restrictions as cottage doorways & some beams quite low. Also, stairway up to bedrooms quite steep so would possibly be unsuitable for very young children, elderly or mobility restricted person. Living-room lovely space with TV, large comfy sofa and table to eat at. Games and books also provided. There was also a television in the main bedroom. Wifi was easy to connect to. Lovely garden space with outdoor seating when weather good. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Putsborough Manor Cottage was lovely and just what we needed! Visiting in November, we knew that a lot of the towns would be closed for the winter but the cottage had everything we needed for cosy nights in!!! Smart TV and a roaring fire, what else do you want?! Visited some local restaurants, as recommended by the owner, the local beaches, nearby towns and enjoyed some down time in the cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and just as pretty as the pictures!! Super comfy bed and a shock to come back home to a double 😉, very well equipped kitchen and lovely & clean throughout. Couple of issues with the Internet dropping out but not a huge problem & Jon was very quick to come back to us. We will definitely be staying again!

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

A lovely quiet place to stay. Lilac cottage is charming and clean, with very comfortable beds. The private garden to the cottage is a nice feature. The shared swimming pool was beautifully warm. The location of Court Farm suited us very well - a rural feel but a relatively short drive to Bude town centre and its beaches, or to Widemouth Bay coastline. We didn't go in but the pub opposite Court Farm was lively on the Friday night of our arrival (live music). It was, however, very quiet throughout the rest of our 5 night stay. Excellent communication all the way through from Court Farm Holidays!

The house is absolutely beautiful, it's better than the photos. When we walked in the smell was amazing. Great location, would recommend. Love, love, love!!

Kirsten was quick to respond, very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The property was extremely well organized and located in a lovely, peaceful area. Highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful stay. Nicola is a wonderful, warm and friendly host and was incredibly thourghful and helpful. The cottage is just stunning - in terms of facilities, location and design. Felt as home as soon as walked through the door. Nicola really has thought of everything you could need. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

Really lovely place with stunning scenery. Very well appointed with all amenities. Loved seeing Deer outside our bedroom window. Great to have dogs so well catered for. Highly recommend - we really enjoyed our stay.

By far the nicest place we have stayed at. such a beautiful cottage with every necessity available. Spacious, clean, very dog friendly :-) We loved every minute of our stay and would 100% return again.
