Excellent stay, had a fabulous time. The cottage was finished to a very high standard with lots a fantastic little touches. Host went above and beyond. Hope to stay again!

Wonderful, comfortable Cottage, right on the beach. We brought our dogs and had some great walks - and had no trouble finding a lovely pub two doors down! Excellent holiday stay.

Highly recommend - as a family we have enjoyed some great Airbnb's - and this is one of the finest. A well appointed and cosy cottage right in the heart of Amble - the location is hard to beat, within an easy walk to restaurants, bars and harbour/beach. As a family we found the space well considered, with a cosy sitting room and a separate dinning room - offering us the opportunity to share time together over dinner. The Kitchen is not large but has all you need and so is very manageable for a few days away. 3 good sized bedrooms and a large bathroom made getting ready for a family of 4 easy enough (and the shower water pressure was spot on too!). Overall we couldn't fault the accommodation, or Kerry's support as host - and would highly recommend to other families. We would certainly re-book the cottage if and when we return to Amble.

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Great Lodge, have stayed here a few times. very comfortable and peaceful. Lodge is equipped with everything you could need and hot tub is fab. Diane is a great host. Will definitely be back next year!!

Just back from a couple of nights at The Great Escape and feel as thoughtful gh we've been away for a week. Very relaxing space , friendly little pub on site. Amusements was just enough to keep the kids entertained without being over the top and taking away from the feel of the place . Cracking dark skies for star viewing in the hottub. Would definitely return.

Fantastic value for money!! We booked the partridge hut for a quiet weekend away to start the year and were not disappointed. Even in yellow warning winds and torrential rain it was so cosy to be in the cabin with the heater on! It’s so private with lovely views over the river and lots of easy walks. The hut itself was immaculate and actually more spacious than we had anticipated, especially because we were bringing our dog with us. All in all perfect and Mike was so helpful and responsive. Would really recommend.

This place is absolutely perfect. The interior decor is some of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything has been well thought out, it was such a pleasure to stay. With a chippy (which I highly recommend), a shop, multiple pubs, and plenty of walking routes (Shap abbey is a MUST) the barn was in the most perfect spot. Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay.

Lovely weekend! Absolutely loved the decking and hot tub area and watching the sunrise in the morning! Had a lovely long walk to explore the surrounding areas and we were very impressed! Hopefully be back again soon!
