Great Yarmouth District : locations de vacances avec accès à un lac

We had a great time during our stay at the High Garden. The property is large and offers plenty of room for a large group - we had 6 adults, 3 children and a dog and were comfortable during our trip. The property is very well located - the Roman ruins are within walking distance and the beach is a 10 min drive. There are also plenty of shops within a short driving distance if you forget anything. The hot tub is an added bonus. Would recommend to anyone that is considering this property - perfect for families/large groups and dog friendly.

Lee is a great and accommodating host who gave us recommendations, guidebook and flexibility with check in and check out times. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The house was beautiful, very clean, tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There is a jukebox that comes with the house which is great fun. A welcome pack with wine and snacks to welcome you on arrival and menus for local restaurants and takeout. I would highly recommend staying at the coach house. Donna and family.

Spacious, very clean accommodation with all we needed. It was a comfortable set up for our long weekend. Very well located by the marina with many long walks for our dog but also close enough to restaurants, pubs and shops. A enjoyable stay.

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

We had a perfect few days staying here in Horning. The house was fantastic and the village was beautiful. Tom was also a great host and was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

A super place for a relaxing break. Oyster Barn was spacious but cosy, very well equipped, comfy bed and sofas. Nice touch of Christmas decorations too. Chris coudn't have been more helpful. Great communication throughout and a quick response to a little problem. The location is perfect: quiet, with a big garden to walk around with the dog. Close to all the places we wanted to revisit, especially the sea. Thank you Chris and Gaenor - we would love to come back.

Fantastic stay for my 30th Birthday. The house is absolutely stunning and really felt like home for the weekend we stayed. Would highly recommend. The facilities were perfect and had everything we could have needed. Janine was lovely, very responsive and always helpful especially when we needed a slightly later check out! Definitely stay here!

What a beautiful cottage, set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. A totally relaxing holiday, with everything we needed. Thank you Penny for the fabulous cake!

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Fabulous stay. Glorious facilities and incredible nature all around. The natural pool is very special. Great to have covered fully equipped kitchen as well as individual fire pits and tripod for more outdoorsy experience. Great warm tents. Will definitely come again.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. James' place in Stalham has everything you need for a short stay - a bit small for 2, but with lots of well thought out details. Everything was brand new and spotless. Very easy communicating with James who was responsive at all times, and even replaced the sofa bed when he realised there were 2 of us. Stalham makes a great base for exploring North Norfolk and the coast - a few minutes to Happisburgh and great beaches, and Stalham itself is on the Broads - a boat trip is a must

Carly's flat was the perfect place for a city break. Stunningly decorated, nice and close to the city centre (bus stop was right outside) and easy to get into. Carly was a proactive host and communicated with us prior to the trip about how to get in etc with crystal clear instructions. I would definitely stay again if we end up in Norwich in future; the flat had a gorgeous feel to it! Thank you Carly. :)

Swan view is a lovely place to stay. Great space. Easily walkable to restaurants. Very clean and just as described/pictured. Matt and Michaela are great hosts. They have put together a binder with everything you need to know about the apartment and the area. They are also quick to respond.

We had a great few days break. We were able to store our bikes in the secure garage. Particularly enjoyed cycling the bure valley railway path. A lovely smooth ride to Aylsham and back with the option to take bikes on the train if needed. Host very responsive and flat comfortable and light with great river view.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location with a pretty self contained garden. The cottage has everything you could need and is very comfortably furnished. A very relaxing place to space. Excellent communication from Liz providing all the information we needed and very welcoming. Thank you.

Sue was a great host. The bed was great & we slept so well. A peaceful & relaxing home with a lovely view. It was very clean & well stocked with basics aswell as some extra kindly left out by Sue. My only suggestion for Sue would be to supply a bread knife, a colander & some more wine glasses & tumblers, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our break.

Lovely place to stay. Great, peaceful location. We saw swans, herons, cormorants and deer all enjoying the pond! Great host

Amazing stay and the photos don't do it justice! We were three couples and there was plenty of space! I highly recommend staying here. We took a taxi from Norwich which was £36. You can walk into the local town which is around 2 miles away. Surrounded by beautiful nature!

What can I say? I booked two adjoining cottages for my husband's surprise family birthday get together. The team at Spixworth were so engaging and accommodating understanding totally what was required by our multi-generational family. They rearranged furniture and even assisted in hiding vehicles so that my husband had no idea upon arrival of our family hiding out of view. The games barn was ideal, we even enjoyed a family fishing experience in their lovely lake. Lovely experience

The Dairy is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings. The renovated barn has been done up amazingly with some key characteristics still in place. The log fire was an added bonus in the evenings and made it really cosy. Lots of lovely walks around it and easy to get to surrounding beaches and other coastal towns. Julia was very responsive and helpful with queries. We would love to come back! The cottage was so peaceful and comfortable, with three great bathrooms and a small but perfectly formed kitchen. The surroundings are beautiful with ducks, nature walks and lakes on your doorstep. Sara was really communicative and left us fresh eggs, perfect for our Sunday morning pancakes. We were blessed with wonderful sunshine for our whole 3 night stay. We would definitely return to this cosy, lovely cottage.
