This was such a great location! It’s close to the supermarket and train station as well as restaurants and coffee shops. It’s a very short walk to the beach too. There is a flight and a half of stairs to walk up, but well worth it. The thoughtful additions such as breakfast items, butter and milk were great. The apartment is quiet and spacious with a beautiful outdoor deck. David was lovely to deal with, very responsive. Would highly recommend this listing.

We stayed in a great unit in a great location across the road from the beach. The host was friendly, pro-active and responsive (when she heard we would be arriving late she arranged milk and cereal so we wouldn't have to go out before breakfast). The unit is small but functional with a good kitchen including a dishwasher, and fast wi-fi. The only slight caveat is the bed: very small, and it sags into the middle, so that's something to be aware of if you're large/heavy! Overall though we had a lovely stay and would happily stay there again.

This was our second time staying at Veronique’s Box Hill properties. We decided to come back again for this trip because I noted how quiet the apartment was during our first stay, unlike many of the newer/fancier listings where you can hear your neighbours cough or flush their toilets. Another big bonus for us is the ease of parking. Flat driveway with numerous reserved spots which are always empty, making it perfect for those with low cars.

We stayed at the apartment for a week and absolutely enjoyed it! It's a cozy place that has everything you need. Right outside there's a lovely park with a nice playground, a running track and walking trails. Also next to the property there's a tram stop that takes you right into town. About 5 mins (walk) away there's a University gym. There's also a car park, which was useful. The host was available to help us whenenever we asked her. Recommended!

From the moment we stepped in to Lisa’s house it felt like a home from home. Absolutely spotless, great views from the lounge window, close to the train station for getting in to the city. Also the little touches like leaving us a bottle of milk and sweet treats after 48hrs of travelling were very well received. I wish we could have stayed longer. Lisa was so friendly and helpful, met us at the property for check in and even checked during our stay to make sure we had no problems. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Melbourne without the hassle of being in the city.

very clean and neat abode. comfy mattress. The wifi was great. Vivian or her husband was available when needed. this was my first experience in a shared home, and it was a positive experience. The house is conveniently located and quite secure.

Chandis place was kept in a great condition and had all required amenities for us. The location of the house was great and had very easy access to main highways and freeways. The place was great for our family and I would stay here again.

Trevor is a very nice and accommodating host. He cleaned the room quickly because I arrived way too early and I could easily move in. Super kind and helpful

I think there are no words to describe this place, mr. Mangala and his wife Neru one of the most kind people I ever met, it is really enjoyable and comfortable to stay there, you will feel like home, no words enough to thank them.

The apartment is amazing, it’s right in the heart of Melbourne so you can get around by walking but if you’re not a walker then there is multitude tram stops nearby. Also Matt is a wonderful host who was very helpful and responsive. For anyone coming to Melbourne I would recommend staying here

Staying at David’s place was a great experience. The train station is right outside and tram stop close by. The host has thought of all the necessities and the outdoor area was fantastic. A perfect location for day trips into the city. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay, it’s important to remember that just because you are on the 18th floor doesn’t mean you are in a hotel. You are in an apartment with normal people living their lives, they are not on vacation. This place is really great for people who prefer to walk to get places, everything is close by so getting out to see and do things was really easy. And if we wanted to go farther away, driving is easier as you are just outside where traffic gets really busy from all the activity in the city. Andrew is quick to respond to any questions and has realistic expectations of his guests, next time I come to Melbourne I will definitely be checking to see if this place is available again.

We had a great stay at Meary's apartment! Everything went smoothly and communication was fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed and everywhere we wanted to go was either within walking distance or an easy tram ride away. The only negative we found was that the mattresses on the single beds were quite hard and bumpy which was a bit uncomfortable—something to bear in mind if you are sensitive to that kind of thing.

My travel companions and I were so happy with the apartment, the amenities, the close proximity to the beach and ease of travel to surrounding shopping. It was an awesome experience.

We loved our stay at Karen's place! it was compact, comfy and had everything we needed. Superb location, just around the corner from shops and cafes, short drive to the beaches (glorious sunsets), and a great place to launch out further afield. We enjoyed a Phillip Island Cruise, and the Peninsula Hot Springs. Karen was a warm and very responsive host, answering a few queries beforehand quickly and checking in that we'd arrived okay. Thanks Karen.

Great place to stay, area itself felt safe and quiet. We loved the swimming pool too! Kid friendly and lots of things to do around the area. Highly recommended and will stay again.
