Lovely place to stay with a truly amazing view to wake up to each day, great walks nearby

We loved our stay with Bridget, the cottage was in a lovely location, the amenities were perfect for what we were after and we could not fault Bridget as a host, great communicator and attentive. The location was perfect with easy train access to Manchester whilst being in a beautiful location for walking, everything we wanted and more. For the added bonus, Sam the dog, Tom the cat and all of the chickens were amazing company. Would highly recommend, thank you Bridget and your animal support cast haha!

This was an amazing place to stay! Peaceful location with amazing views! Was lovely to come home to at the end of the day after a long hike in the Peaks.

Good place but not ideal if you have kids especially babies. It’s too cold!!! I’ve been communicating with the host throughout the stay but when I asked about the heating I got no reply and the place was constantly cold. I looked everywhere but couldn’t find a way to turn the heating on so it looks like the heating was being controlled by the host which is not convenient.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

Such a great place to relax and unwind. We’ve never stayed anywhere as peaceful with only nature to listen to. The lodge is well equipped and the view from the hot tub is stunning
