The flat was easy to find and perfectly suited for exploring Eastbourne on foot as well as near to Beachy Head to walk to or Seven sisters cliffs for the more adventurous walkers. There is a hop on hop off bus that does a loop including both these points and more with a stopping point near the flat. Also very accessible for Brighton by train or bus and other local towns. The flat itself is comfortable, just what you need after a days exploring, with all the things you need should you want to eat in. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance if preferred. Richard was very helpful and quick to reply to any messages. We had a really good week's stay.

We never got tired of the magical private entrance onto the beach - I kept thinking of Dorothy first stepping into Oz! The location really is unbeatable. The flat itself is exactly as described: clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Chris was always responsive and happy to try to accommodate any requests from us. A great experience overall.

Perfect place to stay for a couple of days. Comfortable and clean bedroom, clean kitchen with good cooking facilities and location is perfect for exploring the area. A definite 5 star stay.

This is our second visit to this Air BnB. Convenient locations with great views of the sea. We were lucky enough to have the place flooded with sunshine. Really easy place for when you are looking for a few days to get away from it all. With the bonus of being able to watch huge ships going by!

Beautiful apartment in a lovely seafront location. Near the train station if you don't fancy the walk to Hastings. we had a great time!

We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights and we would stay again. Beautiful location and the apartment had everything we needed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Margate Beach Apartment. The weather was perfect the whole time, which made being so close to the sea even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautifully arranged—mid-century modern, bright, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We really appreciated having a designated parking space; it made getting around so much easier, especially when we arrived with all our luggage. Inside, the kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which was great since we love cooking and didn’t want to eat out for every meal. The beds were also amazingly comfortable—honestly some of the best we’ve slept on while traveling. Overall, everything felt thoughtfully set up for guests, and we’d happily return for another visit.

Stayed for a friend's birthday weekend. Beautiful place, private but excellent access to the beach. Weather stopped us from making use of the garden but can imagine that during the warmer months - it would be amazing. Walking distance to the beach. can highly recommend The Owl for lunch/dinner - which was literally a 5 mins walk. Everything was fabulous 😍

A superb home with character, design features, and so thoughtfully laid out. I knew that the location was about rest, relaxation and peace but the physical location of the house with direct access to the sand dunes and the beach was epic. My partner and I took out three dogs with us and it was the exact medicine needed for complete rest, relaxation and was an oasis of calm. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Sophia was an impeccable host and I could not have asked for me. I have never wanted to book the same place twice but.... I will be booking again.

We loved staying here! A perfect space for a big group with great communal areas. The house was light, bright and well equipped with lots of plates, glasses etc. Sam was also the perfect host - super responsive, friendly and let us check in early which meant we could make the most of the great weather! Our only comment would be lack of privacy in the main toilet - the curtain on the door has a bit of a gap. Didn’t bother us too much for maybe would for a more private group! Nonetheless, would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had a fabulous stay at Barefoot. The house was terrific - great set up inside, extremely clean and comfortable and with all we needed (and more) for a perfect few days at the beach. The location is amazing - literally right on the beach, nestled amongst beautiful dunes which the kids adored. And being able to step right onto the sand was glorious. Mark was extremely helpful with all we needed and also local recommendations - communication always v quick and easy. Thoroughly recommend staying at Barefoot! We are sure to be back!

We had a great weekend stay in Ramsgate. Easy check-in and accommodation exactly as described. Great socialising spaces and would be happy to stay here again. Very convenient location in walking distance to everything. We would recommend the Ramsgate Tunnels if looking for something to do for a couple of hours.

This is such a fantastic house for a big group! There's plenty of communal space. Both the house and garden are gorgeous. The rooms are lovely - with brilliant views of the sea. And Jane is so helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend staying here!

What. A. Gem.! Unbelievable location. Unbelievable house! Quiet and convenient, yet right on the beachfront and in the middle of town. With very convenient private parking.

I had lovely stay again, it's my go to place for when I visit Southend. The view from the balcony is the best part about this stay, whether it's sunny or raining it's still nice to look out of :) They've redecorated the living room since I last visited which looks really nice, it gives it a modern feel :) I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area

Lovley property, very warm, parking was an issue on arrival but soon sorted. Area is a bit rundown but location to the oldtown with plenty of nice pubs & restaurants is a short 5-minute stroll away. Perfect if you have a dog as the local beach is a 2-minute walk. Supermarket (Aldi) is 2-minute walk as are a few local bars & coffee shops.

Great little apartment, a nice short walk along the sea front into Margate. Bed and linen was excellent and essentials were provided. Communication was great, check in and check out were ideal. Would happily stay there again

We had an absolute delight staying at David's seaside accommodation! The little annex was immaculately clean and cozy, perfect for a relaxing getaway. David was an exceptional host - friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location was stunning, with a beautiful beach just a stone's throw away. We spent our days sunbathing and fishing, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. While the pub was a 30-minute walk away, we found it easy to grab an Uber, which was convenient and hassle-free. We can't thank David enough for his wonderful hospitality and for sharing his little slice of coastal heaven with us. We will definitely be back and can't wait to experience it all again! Highly recommend David's accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating seaside escape.

Honestly one of the best Air BnB's I've stayed in! The place was clean and tidy and smelt great. Samantha was a great host, it was the little things that impressed me most, she even asked what type of milk we would like in the fridge! If you're going Southend, book here!!

My partner and I had such a fabulous stay at this apartment. Having a view of the sea from the front room and a coffee in the morning was a major highlight for us. The location of the flat is also perfect for getting around Margate. The beds are comfy, flat was cosy and decorated really well. The hosts were super helpful and responsive so we had zero issues finding the flat. We will definitely be staying here again!

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour de cinq jours chez Simon. La maison est spacieuse, calme, confortable, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer, et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Il y a de nombreuses activités à faire à proximité, avec plein de recommandations dans un livret laissé à disposition au sein du logement. Simon est très sympathique et réactif. Il n’y avait pas de parking pour les visiteurs,m à proximité immédiate du logement, mais nous avons pu stationner dans une rue située à 15-20 minutes à pied.

This flat was a lovely find. The check-in was seamless, great instructions and plenty of free parking right outside the property. It was much more spacious than we expected. it was clean, bright, light and with beautiful views. The location was really convenient with easy access to surrounding areas such as Whitstable, Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate and within walking distance of some really lovely restaurants in Westgate. Hosts were very responsive to any questions and had left some lovely goodies for us to enjoy on arrival. All in all, we had a fantastic stay at SoHot's property and would highly recommend it. Thank you!
