My wife and I had a great stay at the Little Green Cottage. The neighborhood is just fantastic. A beautiful lake and Nora keeps a nice yard. The neighborhood is lively with activity during the day and very calm and quiet evening and night.

Douglas’s home was just right for our family of 4. The beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, there was plenty of space to spread out, off-street parking was super handy, instructions were super clear (Douglas has thought of everything!), having him in the basement while we were there was a non-issue, and best of all the view of the lake and the state capitol was gorgeous. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, yet active with walkers and joggers, and it was convenient to the downtown and the University. Thanks for having us!

Great House. Everything was very nice and it had most all of the amenities! Coffee and pantry items are all there and even shampoo in the bathroom. It's an old house with quaint charm. The only downside was the stairs are a little steep, but that is how it was built. Neighborhood is quite and is well located in Madison.

Us girls had a wonderful time at Shaun's place. It was a great central location for all the things we wanted to do. The neighborhood is very quiet! If you love coffee you must go to there little coffee shop, which is two blocks away. We will definitely be back!

Great find for our last minute needs. Comfortable beds and ample space for our large family. Would stay again if in the area.

My husband and I visited this rental for the first time recently and fell in love. It was close to our family but decent space to relax and was quite! I would 100% recommend this rental and the owner was SO helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a better place in the area!

Great Place!! felt right at home. The location is perfect as it is minutes from the main highway, going to Janesville or Madison was a breeze, also Local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The house itself is beautiful, rooms are big and the playroom was a hit with the kids and parents as is it next to the living room therefore making it easy to keep an eye on them while in the kitchen or living room. Thanks so much, traveling from Colorado, NC, and Fl to meet in this beautiful house made our family wedding a core memory.

This home was perfect for what we needed. We have been to Apple Canyon many times, to visit family, so we are familiar with the area. There was a ton of space for our kids to have their own space, if needed. Kitchen was very clean and well stocked. The deck and loft had a beautiful view of the lake, Perfect for a morning cup of coffee and a book. We didn't use the fire pit, but it looked like it would have been a great way to wrap up the day. I also wanted to make note of how accommodating the host was, as we thought we were going to arrive earlier than listed check-in and they were good with early entry to the home. We then had a brunch on departure day and when my husband called, they were very gracious and told us not to feel rushed to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

Joen and her husband were spectacular hosts! Stayed with my husband and 2 young children while I had a nearby work conference. The place was just as listed with all amenities we needed. The pool was great for the kids while I was away during the day. Plenty of space for the 4 of us to live for 3 days!

Wonderful location for a family gathering. 10 of us stayed here at Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfy and our dog enjoyed the large yard. This was our second time renting this house and we would happily stay here again.

We just completed an amazing getaway here at Lisa’s place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Everything is even better than presented. The kitchen is phenomenal - with every appliance, cook/bake/serveware you can imagine, and a perfect focal place for gatherings. Each room is cozy and homey - and there are so many hidden gems! The bedrooms were elegant yet amazingly comfortable for resting. And the location is super easy to access Madison while offering quiet & peace for morning & evening walks (added bonus if you bring your pup!). Finally and maybe best of all, Lisa is a perfect host!! Immediately responsive, really helpful with questions, and she offered terrific recommendations that we took up & thoroughly enjoyed. We all loved everything about our stay & plan to come back!

I had a last minute work trip come up, and Joy was able to accommodate me on the same day that I was coming to stay. The location was very quiet, and the room was very clean. The pool table and dart board gave something entertaining to do while in the room.

we had a wonderful time over New Year’s at this beautiful house on a private pond. It was cold out, but so cozy and comfortable inside. I definitely plan on going back!

This is an adorable home within walking distance to the downtown square. Very stylish furnishings and spotlessly clean. Appreciated but didn’t indulge the offer of trying some of the nice wine collection. Loved having cold water bottles in the fridge! Sorry to have only been able to stay 1 night.

April and Steve made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and have a very clean home. We weren't able to stick around and enjoy the land but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This was a second story apartment located in the downtown area. Easy walking distance to a number of eateries and within a block of the Sugar River Trail. The place was spotless and we felt right at home here. Would stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Melussa's chalet. The proximity to the Sugar River Trail allowed us to walk to restaurants, stores, coffee shops & bakeries. It's location is just a short drive from Monroe, Verona and Madison. The chalet was very clean & met all of our needs. The basket of snacks and coffee was a nice welcome. We look forward to our next stay at the chalet!

The chalet was clean, comfortable, functional, well equipped, close to the downtown and nearby restaurants. Plus, there was a walk/bike path practically outside the building. So depending upon your interests, there were many options. Another plus was it being dog friendly. It was easy to get to and had a private parking space. All in all, no complaints here. When visiting little Switzerland this is a good place to stay.
