Beautiful, clean and quiet place to stay. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings but our grandson’s basketball schedule didn’t allow for it. Schuhchen was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our talks with her.

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation, we were working but it seemed ideal for a family break. The pond makes for some great shots, would be a great place for wedding parties to stay near the TWR.

We were in town for a wedding. The house was awesome and fit all of our extended family very well. Wish we would have been there during the summer months to try out the pool - it looked amazing. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much

A quiet little getaway. I live a mile or so from a busy highway and had not realized that it is never truly quiet until I woke up from a great sleep to the sound of birds, and only birds. If you are looking to go back in time to a more simple, technology-free stay (although they do have WiFi!), you will like it here. We listened to old time records, there was farm fresh milk in the fridge, and coffee for the morning. Everything was clean and tidy, you wouldn't know that someone else stayed there the night before. Heather was very helpful & flexible which is good because our plans kept evolving up to the last minute. She left lights on for us because we were delayed and didn't arrive until after dark. The only difference from the photos is that there were no bunk beds, instead there were two full(?)sized beds, which worked for us since my son traveled on without us (another evolution in our plans) My only regret is we couldn't stay long enough to fully make use of this peaceful place.

Comfortable home away from home! Very quiet neighborhood, Reasonably close to all New Glarus has to offer, and close enough to Madison/Verona to consider this location. Home is well supplied, clean and beds were comfy cozy. Our host was very responsive and flexible making travel and stay easy. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We stayed at Susan’s beautiful farmhouse during the Christmas holiday. It was everything we were hoping for and more. Susan is wonderful to work with, responsive and helpful. The home is gorgeous with so much history and the feeling of love from many years of family. The decorations for Christmas were wonderful and enhanced the stay that much more. We would love to go back in the Spring or again for the holidays. Downtown Monroe is very close by. It’s a quaint and cozy area with shops, restaurants and the ability to walk and enjoy it. Looking forward to going back!

We just loved this place. It’s easy to get to and near all kinds of things to do with kids including just opening the door and letting them run. We enjoyed walking the clearly marked trails around the beautiful property. There is so much care put into every detail of the space from the entrance to the amazing wrap around porch. Overall a great destination for a peaceful getaway with family and friends.
