The Humingbird was a terrific escape. Back in the relaxed county and in the woods it was peaceful beyond peaceful. The property is up the driveway and tucked back from the street. The street has almost no traffic. If the leaves were on the trees it would be a total isolated spot. But even in this early spring it was a serene space. Quiet, peaceful, private. What more could you ask for. We took advantage of the hot-tub. Again, so private! The house is setup with some awesome sitting areas too. So much character from the wood beams to the metal work on the stairs. The kitchen has what we needed for meals. Plus two bathrooms is huge plus for a weekend getaway to have just enough privacy. :) Thank you to our hosts for sharing their sliver of relaxation.

Gorgeous property! Seems like a brand new build and so nicely done. Every detail is beautiful and thoughtful. The beds are incredibly comfy. This is the kind of place where you could stay for a long time and feel right at home. It’s furnished for you to feel you have everything you need. The kitchen items were super helpful for preparing dinner!

This place is better than described! The whole family was immediately in love the moment we arrived. The home is much larger than it looks in the pictures and the whole place is very spacious, entertaining and inviting. The outdoor setting was peaceful and private with the hot tub as the icing on the cake. My kids asked if we’re able to rate the place and if so to give it a 10 out of 10!

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

this lodge was in the absolute perfect location for a fisherman boat launch and finishing spots just acouple minute walk from the lodge plenty of other fishing areas within a 15min drive as well as multiple bait and tackle shops. Only a 20 min drive from lake Ontario and selkrink state park I'll be back again without a doubt.

Had a great time staying at the cabin. It was very clean!! It had lots of spaces for people to sleep. Having the hot tub was very nice. The water pressure was not the greatest but that’s understandable as it is a cabin in the woods. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time having an Airbnb experience we went to this cabin for my son’s 16th birthday for a snowmobile trip unfortunately, we were stuck in a terrible snowman which made it impossible. The snowmobile as we received 2 feet of snow overnight. Marlo and Steve were excellent in helping us and even tried to break a trail so that we could get a little riding in that did not work out to no fault of their own. There was just too much snow, but we surely did appreciate them trying to make our experience as enjoyable as possible just poor timing. Cabin was beautiful and location was great.

We really enjoyed our stay 😊! This house was a perfect gathering place for our family and had lots of room to spread out. I love that the property is set back from the road and is surrounded by tree's, it almost felt like being in the Adirondacks!

Great little cabin. Located close to everything one would need including fishing at Fair Haven State Park. Big backyard space to have fire and peace and quiet. Definitely will be back again.

A great stay ! If you want to enjoy nature or hit the salmon river this is the place.

Awesome place to stay. We stayed for a salmon fishing trip and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is nice and secluded from everything and very private. House was also very clean and whenever we needed anything Juanita was quick to respond and help us out!!

We loved staying at Todd's cabin on beautiful Oneida Lake. His place has everything we needed for a quick two day stay to visit family in the area, and I'm glad we found it. You couldn't ask for a better host--Todd was super friendly and responsive. We'd love to come back in warmer weather to take full advantage of the lake!

My family and I recently traveled for a short stay to visit my daughter at her college near Oswego. The location was peaceful and not far from campus, providing a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and appreciated the quiet surroundings.

This was an amazing spot it was peaceful and private with amazing host response. This was the perfect getaway with a beautiful location. If you’re looking for a perfect get away from the world and need to relax. This place is it. I accidentally left some AirPods behind and Thalia graciously mailed them back and was extremely responsive.

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect weekend get away. Karen is a great host, everything was exactly as discribed.

The place was very clean, great size, easily located, close to the highway and the fishings spots the we go to.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and serene getaway this is your place! Cabin is comfy and cozy. We enjoyed hiking the trails for hours and relaxing in the spa and sauna. Top Notch amenities. It was great to be able to include our dogs on this trip who were in much need of outdoor time after a long winter. Vanderkamp would be a great place to visit in all seasons and we look forward to returning.

It is exactly as he describes it. That is what we hoped it was, that is what we got. The place is perfect for a stay in the middle of nowhere. It’s not a glamping… it’s a throw back to a different time. It’s simplistic. It’s cozy, it’s old, it’s rustic, it’s just been there for a loooooong time. It has the feel of decades and decades of memories that only time will recall.

This was the perfect spot for our family weekend getaway. Cozy, super cute cabin with everything you need. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. From check In to check out, Gabrielle was extremely helpful. We will definitely be booking again!

This was our first men trip to NY for some steelhead in the salmon river. The cabin had more than enough room for us and close enough to the fishing but also private. We will definitely book again for our next fishing adventure.

Amazing location and the Host Brenda makes it even better! She is really friendly and responds immediately! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I will never forget the truly remarkable hospitality.
