Wonderful stay! Cabin was wonderful and hosts were even better!

Eathan was quick to respond and accommodated my request of being in town for a day trip with my fiancé for a class ceremony and myself and service dog wanted somewhere to relax until late night when the class ended and we got back in the road, he was very easy to work with as well as polite and prompt, highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay with our two dogs. The fenced in yard was perfect. Cabin was cozy and as described/pictured. Would recommend and consider staying again!

A gorgeous, cute little cabin on a beautiful creek. We loved the view and had a lovely time. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was fun and relaxing. Made for an amazing weekend for me and my husband. The restaurant recommendations were perfect. We had fabulous meals at The Palisades and Harvest at Mountain Lake. Would love to come back and stay at the four fillies lodge again in the future

This was the second time I’ve rented this place for my family’s new year’s getaway . My family loves it here. Very quiet,relaxing and lots of room. Plus it’s not that far from town to run and pick up extra supplies. Owner is very nice and very responsive if you are in need of anything. Would definitely use again.

What a lovely space! The house was stunning and very private. The view is incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. We spent our honeymoon here and loved being snowed in. Thankfully we have 4WD! We definitely needed it!

The back and both sides of the property are trees with a fantastic sounding creek that runs along the side. The property in front of the house is very spacious. The house has a metal roof that sounded amazing when it rained. The kitchen has a Viking stove with 6 burners and a double Viking oven. The hot water in the house is hot - not lukewarm. There is plenty of space in the house. There are many close hiking trails and a hot tub on the deck for relaxing after. The size of the night sky with all the stars is unbelievable. Craig (the host) and Hannah were very quick to respond to any and all questions. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to enjoying it again soon.

the cabin was very clean and Miranda was the best host I've ever experienced. I came for a short visit to the area but if I ever come back I'll make sure to see if this place is available for a longer stay. if you are ever in the area you can't go wrong with staying here.

It was wonderful!!!! Elizabeth's was great! There was a mix up with which cabin we had but we switched & it was easy peazy!! The cabin we started in was awesome & the one we had rented was awesome! Elizabeth is so friendly & helpful. The cabin spacious & kitchen fully stocked. We loved it & had a great weekend! WiFi was such a lifesaver! The hill super fun to drive up! Took me back to my youth! Great cabin near the lake--perfect for a weekend getaway and some relaxation. Michael was responsive and helpful. Internet was strong. Hot tub was fantastic!

The location was super convenient as I was traveling to attend Bridge Day. The cabin looks just like the photos and it was easy to find. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful when I accidentally locked myself out of my cabin. And when I mentioned that the space heater that was provided was not working properly they replaced it for me. If you are looking for a no-frills, basic shelter and accommodations then this is it!

Perfect spot for a cozy trip in the mountains! We stayed dry and warm during an especially rainy/snowy weekend. The space was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We were even surprised with a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day and a collection of toys for our pup.

This was our second time here in Alderson, and there were more than many reasons to come here again. The area may seem quiet and isolated, but we still did not manage to check everything off our extensive list, which keeps growing. The cabin is adorable and truly the coziest and comfiest thing we could have wanted for our break. Thank you, Audrey and Kevin, for making this space available to us!

Awesome cabin! So cute and comfy. Stayed there at night after skiing in snowshoe all day. Right at the river which is fun to watch in the morning.

Great place to stay and well worth the price ! The pictures are true to what you'll experience and the surroundings were calm and beautiful, will definitely be visiting again if I plan a trip to New River Gorge.

The Lodge was in a beautiful wooded peaceful location and was well maintained; everything was well stocked (kitchen utensils, towels, extra blankets et.) Nikki communicated with us the moment we booked and responded within minutes to questions. A winter storm disrupted the electric power for a few hours and Nikki kept us up to date with information about the power being restored. I recommend this home and host highly!!

This cozy cabin was perfect for my family of 5 kids! We came to go skiing for the first time at snowshoe and the cabin was a perfect private retreat for family time, games, and a hot tub for aches and pains from skiing! Super clean, cozy and we had everything needed including laundry detergent we forgot! Filtered cold water tower was extra nice for all our yeti refills! We were party of 7 but 10 can sleep comfortably, plus two full baths! Crockpot, two types of coffee makers, toaster, all cooking utensils needed for big breakfasts and convenient supper! Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

Robert is a great host, extremely friendly and responsive to all our questions! It was snowing when we visiting, and the road the cabin is on was plowed making it easily accessible. Temperatures were in the single digits at nice, but the place is well insulated and stayed cozy.

We stayed in Jill’s Airbnb to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family in West Virginia for the first time in five years. The location and the price are so worth it. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to stay here during the spring, summer, or winter! And Jill is the greatest host. Because it was hard to find her place in the dark, she herself drove out to meet us and show us the way! All around great stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing family getaway at this ski resort house! The property was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with stunning mountain views that took our breath away. The spacious living room, complete with a fireplace, was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze, and the dining area comfortably accommodated our family. Each bedroom was comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring restful nights. Located right of the mountain ski lifts, we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Our host was incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for families!

We had an incredible stay at the Pine Ridge Cabin! Being the most remote cabin on the 93 acre property and requiring a hike-up or side-by-side ride up the mountain in the winter, we were truly able to disconnect and felt like the entire forest was all ours. We were lucky enough to be there for a 10-inch snowstorm which transformed the area into a winter wonderland. The trails, gallery and views were amazing. Our host, Max, went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. Highly, highly recommend for those looking for adventure and peacefulness in the trees!!! We are already planning our trip back in the warmer months.
