Place was great! Beautiful and clean house with plenty of room for everyone. You can’t beat that lake view!

This was a fabulous place to stay with my family. They really thought of most things you would need to be comfortable while staying in their home. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes, so it was easy to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of games, kids books, and toys for entertainment. Josh was very friendly and accommodating.

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

What a great stay! Felt right at home and it had special touches and amenities to the house. It was a beautiful, peaceful place and with the beach being so close was just an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Absolute dream rental. Mark is an awesome host, very responsive and friendly. The house is in such an incredible location steps from the beach, super quiet area. Went on a colder weekend and had a blast, can’t imagine how cool this place is in the middle of summer.

Beautiful lake side home. No air conditioning which makes it hot upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. Would stay there again once the lake level rises to its original levels.

We LOVED this place and will return! We came during Thanksgiving week and it snowed that night and it was wonderful waking up seeing snow on the ground and on the lake. It was beautiful sipping coffee looking out the window. Our dog Luna loved it too and the snow! Patrick, the host, thought of everything you could need. We loved the book they put together telling us all the things we could do. It was like a road map to Atlanta. They responded to any of our needs quickly. We will come back again in the summer to take advantage of the boats to fish!

Jade was a great host. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. She even had some canned, boxed and other sealed items. The bed, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. All the supplies needed in a well-lit bathroom, including Ibuprofen! The grounds were lovely with lake reflecting the beautiful fall colors. I had a doe, and her fawn come up to the front yard every morning, which was cool. I would suggest making sure all of the front porch lights work. I arrived late and the extra lighting would have been helpful. Having blue refactors to indicate where the driveway was would have been helpful as well, because of all of the leaves and no overhead lighting. I would stay at her place again and would recommend it to friends or family!! :-)

Place was so great, we extended our stay! Brandon was very responsive when we had questions. Felt safe in the area and the people were so kind! If we’re ever in the Port Austin area again, we will definitely look into staying here again.

tiffany rocks, super kind, checked on me, house was spotless, good for smaller dogs. comfy and cozy, plenty of sleeping space for 5. tiffany responded almost immediately every time. make sure to bring water to drink, none in fridge. great location to enjoy some peace in the woods and a day at the beach just across the street. if absolutely necessary you can walk from town. little distance but better then the alternative. have fun, thanks tiffany, see you soon.

I had never been to Oscoda before, and Rachel’s place made me feel right at home! Perfect view of the beach, and it was just so so so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

The place was a great location - very close and walkable to downtown. It was exactly as pictured and described. The host was very responsive and helpful.

We had a great stay at the Aloha House! It was super clean and the perfect size for our family of 4. The beach here is huge! I would definitely stay here again! Linda was always available if I had a question or concern.

The house was very nice. It was spacious and clean. It was close to restaurants and other stores. We had a nice, relaxing time.

We went up for the fall colors and had a very enjoyable stay. The view of the lake is beautiful during the day. Without light from nearby towns we could see shooting stars at night. The cottage was exactly as described. Cute, well stocked and very clean. Being older it does have some minor quirks, but nothing that took away from our visit. These were also communicated in the description. The home is very dog friendly. The fenced in yard is great. The fact that it's in the front of the yard means it doesn't interfere the lake view or access. The inside also has retractable gates if you wish to restrict your dog access to rooms as well. Kaitlin quickly responded to all of my questions. She also has a very thoughtful and detailed binder for local attractions in the area. There is only a Dollar Store and small food market in town, so you will need to the next town if you need more than convenience items. The pizza at Smokey's Restaurant & Tavern was really good!

I stayed here for a wedding and wanted some private and quiet time around the events. It was fabulous. Sitting on porch talking to a friend or reading, the bed in the loft helped give me two of my best nights sleep in a long time. Would love to return for a longer time and just chill Went to the Villager in Lewiston for breakfast. Great service and food. Closes at 2 and cash only.

Perfect location!!! Nothing fancy in the cabin itself… but it’s got a gorgeous view, is across from a coffee shop / laundromat (amazing), and next to the kayak rental! Everything is walkable. Mike and Dale are great too!

It’s a very nice little getaway cabin special in the summer. It’s really beautiful. I could imagine we stay there during a snowstorm. The only thing if you go up here during the winter month, make sure you don’t have a low sitting car. And that you have a suv

We rented a cabin here for the first time this past weekend. Best hosts I’ve ever encountered. There was a considerable snowfall in the owner, offered to allow us to stay in the cabin an extra night—for free—before the snow even hit the ground. I recommend these accommodations to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and a friendly environment.
