Julie's home is a great base for Catskills winter skiing. We were 4 adults/3 kids under 10 and there was plenty of space and sleeping options. Julie was SUPER responsive and took time to make sure our short stay was a pleasant experience. The home is well laid out with a large living room, plenty of comfortable seating and tons of games and books. Home was easy to find, we received 7 inches of snow the night we stayed and the roads were plowed early the next morning.

This visit was our seventh year coming back to the "Red House", as my kids call it. There is no place that gets us into vacation-mode quite as fast, and is such a relaxing stay. It's a more remote and quiet area, lots of beautiful mountain views and a fire pit outside for grilling and s'mores. There's some great spots in the area we always like to visit: in Cairo there's the Alpine Pork Store (a great little German butcher) and Delightful Bites by Nina (an amazing little bakery). The arboretum nearby is gorgeous, Hunter is close (you can ride the chairlift up to the top in the summer and walk down), and my kids love the nearby water Park (Zoom Flume) when it's warm enough to go. This visit we really enjoyed just hanging out at the house, making s'mores watching movies and enjoying the view. Always ready to go back!

Arin’s home was the perfect weekend getaway. The home itself was lovely and situated on a pretty large and peaceful property that had great views of the mountain and felt very private. Arin was a great host - extremely accommodating and responsive! Would highly recommend the listing!

Tuscany on the Hudson! The grounds are just beautiful- and the home was comfortable, lovely, and so, so peaceful. We really enjoyed the pool, tennis court, and saying hello to the local animals. Thank you for a wonderful stay- my family loved it!

Our stay at Eva's place was exactly as expected. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the house was conveniently located for skiing & visits to Windham town.

We had a nice staycation here for the winter holidays. The home was cozy, secluded, and charming with a large backyard area for pets. Be cautious, as our front-wheel-drive car couldn’t make it up the hill in the snow, but we found an alternate route to the home.

This is place is a magical experience. It's perfect for those who want to experience the more remote nature this region offers. Pure and quiet night, picturesque surroundings, amazing sunrise/sunset. The Barn itself is designed creatively and mixes greatly between camping and comfort. Stephen is very helpful and communicative.

Ray’s home offered the perfect weekend getaway for our family. The house is on a beautiful property with a lovely back yard, small bridge and my kids loved the fire pit! Ray was responsive & very friendly! We look forward to coming back again next time!

The villa is exactly as promised. It’s on a hill overlooking the Hudson with great views and outdoor space. It’s dog friendly with a fenced in yard, a wonderful feature for dogs and people. We were there for a family wedding so did not make full use of the outdoor spaces, but the pool and fire pit are very inviting. The bedrooms were comfortable and we enjoyed lounging in the living room with tv football games. The location is a short walk from downtown Coxsackie for coffee and treats. You should know that access to front door is up about 12 or so steps but there was a railing if anyone has mobility issues. We would return if we were to come back to the area. Lakpa is super responsive.

Very responsive to messages before arriving and he sent specific check-in details, and met us upon arrival to show us the space. The photos were accurate and we enjoyed our stay. It’s close to Catskill shopping and mountain exploring, and the home is very spacious and relaxing. I accidentally forgot my coat and he called immediately and made arrangements for me to come back to the house and pick it up. I was very appreciative. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Broadview! The hosts went out of their way to make us feel right at home and welcomed at their beautiful farm house—it’s charming and updated with stunning views and a peaceful setting. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a quick ride to the ski slopes and then hot chocolate on the amazing deck afterwards! Highly recommend for a lovely stay in the area! Thank you!

It was lovely stay! We stayed close to 10 days and it was perfect to post up for a bit. Very thoughtfully stocked. Everything you needed but not cluttered. It is a short drive to wonderful hiking trails and so much other great stuff. The host was also so responsive and kind. Allowed us to borrow her Vitamix during our stay which was super generous. Highly recommend and great value!

We had a lovely stay at Natasha’s place! The house is cosy and very well equipped - there is everything you need. There are nice walks and hikes in the area and some nice towns close by. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

The Gatehouse is outstanding. This is a recently renovated home with artful design and comfortable surroundings. Perfect for two people. The surrounding area has an abundance of beauty and history. Stay a few days and explore!

Molly's place was absolutely exceptional. Cleaner than a hotel. Absolute comfort and peace throughout our entire stay. It's difficult to find small homes as well built as this! Merv the cat and Charlie the dog are exceptional at their jobs as guest greeters. Privacy is guaranteed with the river canceling out all the noise. Absolutely must return. It's so good I'm tempted to gatekeep this gem but Molly deserves the recognition 😁

La Casita was exactly as described...we travel to the Hudson area often as we have a child in school nearby and this was our favorite place to stay thus far. We felt quite at home as the decor is quite similar to what we typically do and love. I even found periodicals that I have subscriptions to! The beds were very comfortable, the common areas were well equipped and very comfortable and we loved stargazing at night since the property is a bit off the beaten track. We will definitely be staying at La Casita again.

Marta’s place was the perfect winter escape! The house was spacious, cozy, and even better than the photos. The high ceilings and open layout made it great for relaxing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Even in the cold, the house stayed warm and comfortable. The peaceful location made it feel like a true getaway, yet it was still close enough to essentials. Marta was a fantastic host—responsive and helpful from start to finish. We had an amazing stay and would love to come back!

We were a group of ten family/friends, not really interested in local happenings or activities because we were just there for the weekend to stay at the house and relax and unwind. The living room couches and dining table were great; we had plenty of room to hang out together, and the downstairs space living room wasn't even needed. The kitchen is very well appointed, but it's pretty small, so not really able to fit more than one or two people at a time. The beds were comfortable and with a variety of bed sizes, accommodated our group nicely. We appreciated the nice furniture and decor, I think it made everyone feel relaxed along with a fire in the wood stove. Had a fire down the hill by the lake, and unfortunately it was too windy to use the upper deck and outdoor furniture. Vincent quickly answered any questions we had. We didn't get to use any of the summer amenities but the lake looked like it'd be inviting in the summer.

Pros: House was spacious, clean and plenty of outdoor area. Hosts are super responsive (even very late at night!!). Somewhat secluded and star gazing was fantastic!! Cons: The view was a bit underwhelming (I would assume in the winter it’s better given less tree coverage).

Maria was a fantastic host , she was very helpful and responsive . We had a wonderful stay at her beautiful cabin ! Would def recommend !!! 5 stars!!!

Casa Bartolo was the perfect little getaway for me and my 6 yr old for a Hudson area day trip. So peaceful, great view of the river, beautiful, spacious rooms, and everything we needed in the kitchen for a homemade breakfast before starting our day. The hosts were very responsive and thought of our every need. My son loved the chance to collect eggs from their onsite chicken coop and get to know the hens. Extra special treat were the brownies. Thank you for making our stay so fun and memorable!!

The home was very attractive and comfortable. There is a great flow between the entry, living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. We loved the decor and plants and special touches. And the access to outdoors was amazing. Such beautiful and fabulous views.

Another great stay at Bryan & Maura's cabin. It's a perfect place to spend time while getting away from city/everyday life. The cabin is a comfortable, well-appointed, private spot up a mountain and set back from the road, with so much to do just walking around on the property. You're also super close to Woodstock and Phoenicia and lots of other things to do in the surrounding areas, so you get the best of a secluded spot in the woods, and one that's also only a few minutes from everything else you'd want or need. I've only visited in fall when it's especially beautiful at the house and everywhere around it, and would always highly recommend a stay here.
