If you enjoy peace and quiet but close to amenities, this is your spot. You can access lovely hiking trails by a stream in 5 minutes walking. Kim and Zeke and their dog duke were all very friendly. They even had us up for dessert one night to discuss our mutual interests. The bed is super comfy and there’s plenty of space, which may not be obvious from the photos.

This home is gorgeous with the mountains as a backdrop. So peaceful with an outstanding view. Fire pit was great! Sally had all we needed to have a fire in the fire pit. The lower level, where we stayed is lovely! Very clean and decorated beautifully. We only stayed one night. Would love to go back.

We stayed at the guest house while in Charlottesville for a wedding and had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and reached out to me a few days in advance to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They accommodated an early check in for our group which was extremely helpful. They even stocked the refridgerator with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cinnamon buns and orange juice for us! I would recommend this home for your stay!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mountaintime Magic, and really enjoy coming back to visit. The location is a lovely and peaceful slice of the valley just south of Charlottesville, and truly is a magic location. Rich is extremely welcoming and friendly, check-in is always easy and the area is cozy and comfortable. There are some wonderful amenities that go with the rental and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. The highlight is for sure the location and the host, five stars all around.

We enjoyed staying at Jennifer’s. The extras provided like snacks and toiletries were way better than expected. The kitchen is stocked well. Very clean and quiet We would definitely recommend this place

We had a fantastic stay at Drew’s place. The location was great, the room and bathroom were clean, and Drew went above and beyond to answer all of my questions immediately! Overall, it was a great value for a weekend in Charlottesville.

This was the perfect place for us to stay during UVA Family Weekend! It was only a short drive from campus! The place was immaculate and had all the amenities that we needed! The host was very friendly and responsive! Hope to stay again during next UVA visit!

This may not be for everyone, but it was our second stay. It is an old farmhouse with a warm, real wood stove. Very quiet and peaceful. Dark sky out the door full of stars, like you never see in any town. Not far from Shenandoah N.P. Excellent restaurant (Lafayette Inn) a few miles away (which also served as an army hospital in the civil war. Beds are comfortable and rooms large. Common bathroom down the hall. Furniture is older, but added to an unpretentious motif. In short, if you love the countryside like I do it was close to perfect.

Great getaway spot that is even better than pictured! Perfect for our group and I look forward to booking again when I am back visiting Culpeper. Highly recommend

My son and I stayed here to visit family and we loved it so much. It was comfortable for the two of us and I loved the quiet area but we were also close enough to places that it wasn’t too much of a drive. We also loved their very friendly dogs. This is definitely a place we would consider staying at again. This was a quick weekend visit for us but we look forward to staying longer next time.

the shower is as advertised, and the bed was very comfortable. Justin was looking out for me with check in time and keeping an eye on the local temperature. the bathroom and bed were, i’m sure, better than any local hotel. it’s a great value, highly recommended!

I feel like Goldilocks and three bears character who finally found just the right space to rest. The unit is well laid out , spotless and convenient to my family in Keezletown. Kris and Lori have thought of everything their guests might need. Comfortable bed and good shower too. Lovely views from yard. They were friendly and helpful hosts. Looking forward to our return

What a fantastic place! I stayed with my partner and a couple of friends at Gigi’s farm for my birthday/NYE, and we had a great time—excellent communication with Gigi and Mike, beautiful property, great amenities, and thoughtfulness in every detail. We were extremely thankful for the extra gifts to make our New Year’s celebration memorable. We’ll be back, and we have already shared this listing with others who need a nice escape from DC. My husband and I were in town for a long weekend to enjoy some sporting events at UVA. Joann's place was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the abundant towels and bottle of wine. We slept very well in the bed. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. I highly recommend staying at Joann's. She was very communicative and a gracious host.

Lovely host, great bed, neighborhood quiet and good to walk. You can jump on 250 easily with access to downtown and shopping. I could easily scoot over to pick up my granddaughter from school. Eve can share places of interest and their history.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We came in late and were worried about disturbing the household but Cole and Rihannon were warm and welcoming which immediately broke the ice. Our dogs were happy to join us for our trip as well. We explored some trails near massanutten, went to a nearby brewery, and saw live music at the grand caverns. The Airbnb was comfortable and clean and the hosts were quickly responsive to our questions. We would absolutely stay here again, thank you so much for hosting!

Keswick is a beautiful spot a few miles from Charlottesville. The place is an historic colonial era tavern, nicely refinished with modern conveniences. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice and we would stay again.

we were 3 adult ladies in town for a good catch up / Girls weekend. The location was convenient to our plans in Charlottesville and we loved having room to stretch out and catch up in the living room. Access to a mini fridge and coffee maker was also quite helpful so we could caffeine up before heading out for the day.

Kim’s place was perfect for during our visit to UVA. Very friendly. Everything very clean, a bonus second bathroom, lots of light, and just as described. Great location and access to town, university and surrounding areas. Thanks for a great stay.

The Valentine House is an awesome spot in C'Ville. 5-6 blocks from the mall and historic district. Two families with youngsters visited on a chilly January weekend. The place is definitely cozy for 7 people. But the common areas around the property helped those of us getting antsy. Overall, a great spot. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful property! I felt like I was in a castle! Super cute room and great amenities for price! Would come again!!!

Place is perfectly as described. Private and extremely clean. Some good snacks too!
