This was a beautiful spot. We loved the little table in the living room, which was filled with games and infant toys. There were outlet covers and reasonably kid proofed so we could let our baby crawl around. The view was beautiful, rooms were clean, and the space was nicely decorated. There were kayaks, fire wood, a wood burning fire place, and fire pit outside. We didn’t have much time, but if we’d spent a few days here, it would have been neat to take advantage. The view is definitely the selling point. Mountains surrounding a lake, boats every so often, miss coming up from the water. It was just a very nice little slice of mountainous Maine.

Sebago Lake area is a new destination for us and we were looking for an AirBnB specifically in the Standish area. We are a family of 5, including 3-teenage boys so it was important to us that everyone had their own bed, and there was space to spread out. This property more than exceeded our expectations. Spacious, exactly as described, beautifully decorated. Each bedroom had comfortable beds with window AC units as well as fans. The fire pit area was so relaxing. Private beach was a short 0.5 mile walk away. Boys loved the paddleboard and kayaks, and the added bonus of a private dock allowed us to rent a pontoon boat for the day. Would definitely recommend this property!

What a great little home. So Clean and was described perfectly. We stayed a few days to visit our son who attends a near by college. Amy was great and so easy to talk to, very responsive and explained everything you needed to know. Would highly recommended this sweet pond home. Thanks again Amy!

Had a great stay at the cabin. The lake and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Lake was fun to fish off dock and using canoe. Nearby town Bethel has a few nice restaurants and there are a number of easily accessible day hiking spots nearby. The beds are super comfortable as well. Overall a great stay!

The cottage is one deep breath away from the ocean — we saw the sun set and rise from the upstairs rooms — watched the waves from the living room with the gas fire in the background, sat in the Adirondack chairs on the porch bundled up to greet the morning. The number of amenities and quality of them in the cottage’s galley kitchen is amazing — pots and pans and knives, expresso maker, cooking while viewing the small lighthouse just across the way. Although our host said this is a relatively new listing it did not feel that way — cozy spots to tuck under blankets everywhere, notes to help all over the house. Peaks Island ferry is small — so get on line early if you are bringing your car, but the ride is short and smooth (even in a rainstorm). The local market has most things you’d need. While we stayed 6+ inches of snow and 0 degree temps were predicted and our hosts graciously allowed a delayed check out and reassurance about how the island handles storms. We want to return.

This house was amazing!

The accommodation was perfect for our ski trip to Mt Abram and Sunday RIver. The host was responsive and flexible and helped with any requirements we had, including bringing a little dog. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful getaway stay, as the view was fantastic and the location very quiet.

Nick and Erika have a great apartment near the Eastern Promenade in Portland. They were very communicative, easy to reach and friendly hosts. Their apartment was very clean, well furnished and super comfortable. It was one of the higher priced Air BnB's, but well worth it! I would highly recommend it and will be looking to come back in the future. Thanks Nick and Erika!

Sitting looking out over the bay on a cold early March morning with the fire going was just the type of relaxation we were looking for. The photos don't do it justice. Had fun using the hot tub but just a little too chilly to use the outside fireplace, but Mihai had stocked the wood pile should we have been brave enough. Mihai lives right next door but you'd never know unless you needed him. We didn't. Everything worked. Clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. A lot of thought has gone into renovating this house and it shows in the amenities. The only advice we'd give fellow travelers is the spiral stairwell leading upstairs to 2 of the 3 bedrooms is the smallest I've ever seen. Thought should be given to bringing small children. The master bedroom is on ground level. Otherwise enjoy. It's a magical place and we thank Mihai for being such a gracious host.
