Very comfortable flat walking distance to Largs. Definitely recommend.

Simon’s place was lovely and relaxing. The view was great. A great space to also bring our dog. The local pub and coffee shop were closed the majority of the time when we stayed mid week but we went to nearby Dunoon for food one night. Thank you for the stay!

David's place was fantastic and he was a wonderful host. The place was spotless and the building itself is great! Private and quiet even while on a main road. There was some wind noise from the storm that rolled through but even that was quite cool. Spacious and well appointed, felt right at home. David met us himself to drop off the key, let us into the building and show us the ropes the first time. He was extremely responsive and accommodating. Having read the review just before mine from a week ago, I was quite concerned about what we would be walking into, but I cannot fathom that the person stayed at the same place I and my friends did. There was no smell in the hallway except for once and it was clear one of the neighbors was cooking something. He explained the quirk with the water (it needs to be reset after so much time or so much water running, it was no big deal even with three adults in the flat). The place was immaculately clean. I would happily stay here again.

Such a beautiful stay at Herb’s place. I especially enjoyed the beautiful view outside the lounge and bedroom window. You cannot beat the location and view. Lovely walks along the beautiful beach, and you are so close to the town and restaurants. The flat itself was perfect. Clean, welcoming and it has everything you need for your stay. Herb was great at communicating and very helpful. I honestly cannot fault anything. Herb’s place for sure will be my first choice for my visits to beautiful Troon. My sister’s and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. It was so peaceful, relaxing and the view so tranquil. Thank you Herb for sharing your lovely home :)

Hi, I don’t usually leave reviews but we had a fabulous stay here, host was very helpful. The location was brilliant for what we needed, lovely setting to be able to walk to the harbour. Got the bus into Glasgow city centre which was so easy to use and the bus stop was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. We felt at home here and felt very comfortable, would definitely recommend if we are ever coming to Glasgow again we know where to stay next time. Thank you so much x

Charlotte's place was a great stopover on our way to the north of Scotland. Clean, tidy and all the necessary amenities. Great locality for access to walking and sightseeing. Handy for shops, restaurants etc.

Nice wee flat right on the front Great views Some off street parking too which was good to have.

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had a lovely stay in Jason and Mari’s beautiful cottage. The views are outstanding and the location and proximity to the seafront were perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, with excellent bedding and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were some lovely complimentary items included which were very much appreciated. We will definitely return next time we come to Fairlie.

Wir waren mit der Familie zu viert in der Unterkunft. Alles wirkt neu und man hat sehr viel Platz. Wir hätten uns noch über einen Couchtisch im Wohnzimmer gefreut, aber das ist vermutlich Geschmackssache. Die Ausstattung lässt ansonsten nichts zu wünschen übrig. Es ist wirklich alles da. Die Bedienung der Heizung, Herd etc. werden in einer eigenen Unterlagenmappe seht gut beschrieben. Eine eigene Auffahrt zu haben, um den PKW zu parken, empfanden wir als sehr hilfreich. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen und Andrew hat als Host immer blitzschnell auf alle Anfragen reagiert.

Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

An incredible night away for me and my dad, absolutely beautiful home which was even better than the photos - the living room seemed to have been re-decorated since the pictures on the listing, it is so lovely and full of character. All amenities as expected, and clear instructions about checking in and out Only note had been that the front garden/driveway had been changed for construction so the instructions on parking weren't applicable and we were left a little confused - but Anita and her daughter were able to help us out instantly. A beautiful home which we would happily revisit and will be recommending to friends.

Fantastic place for our very special family Christmas. Rae & Justin pulled out all the stops for Christmas including welcome gifts in our room. Great location and surroundings, fabulous easily accessible walks, towns and castles an hour away. The house was very accommodating and perfect for our group our 9, the use of the hot tub in December made it extra special

The flat is perfect for a relaxing weekend and just beautifully furnished - after only two days it felt like a little home!

We had a fantastic stay, The location was stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful escape. The property was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Wendy and ude were excellent hosts, providing clear instructions and being very responsive throughout our visit. Great property in a stunning wee lochside town. I was there for a business thing at a venue up the road and the hosts very graciously allowed me to leave my car there even on check out day so I could still just walk up the road. Stunning view from the bedroom. Loch front is immediately opposite the property. Visits from a gorgeous cat, made me feel like I was at home.

Louise was very helpful and quick to respond. We had such a lovely stay so much so we have already booked a return visit. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house warm comfortable and cosy. The lounge was the only area we felt needed updating, the sofas were well past their sell by date and quite shabby. The furniture in that room on the whole was tired. It did not deter from our enjoyment. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. and Louise had very kindly left us a welcome gift. We used the local taxi service to travel about and they were very reliable. As said previously we are returning and would highly recommend. Thank you Louise x
