This place was right on the water with gorgeous views and access to free canoes and kayaks. The driveway is a little steep and I could not figure out how to operate the living room ceiling fan lol. Overall this is an amazing house in the mountains on a pristine lake. Five out of five stars and I would rent here again thank you. Also, I wish it had a nicer gas grill and a more developed fire pit area.

My family (2 adults & 2 children) took out a few days in Tryon for Spring break (March 2025). Firstly, the location and home were exactly as shown online. The location is extremely private and there was no wear and tear which made all of us feel like we were home from home. The bedrooms (3 in total) were large and spacious, the kitchen well stocked with basic sundries which allowed us to cook every night. Spending time together with breathtaking views was icing on the cake. The winner was the games room in the basement which we spent numerous hours at - pool table, giant Jenga, card game etc. Off the games room was a lovely hot tub which overlooked the mountains which was thoroughly used by all of us. Peter was extremely responsive to questions and super helpful which made us feel extremely looked after. I would highly recommend this location and I am sure we will be back again!

Very nice and clean. They had everything needed already there in the home. My daughter graduated from Clemson and the house accommodations were perfect for traveling friends and family. I would recommend this place. The lake and outdoor areas are very nice.

Little gem. Only weakness was the TV is a bit older and the internet bandwidth isn’t consistent. Cell service is weak up there too, so be aware of that. But if you want to truly unplug and enjoy nature, especially during the warmer months, this place is a treat. The owners have put a lot of intentionality into the place and accommodating the stay of their guests. Overall, wonderful.

Another fantastic stay! The home is so comfortable, clean, and inviting. We loved walking the grounds and sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee. The home is well stocked with everything we could have needed during our stay. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we hope to be back again next year!

Beautiful place to stay, quiet, clean, very quaint, only downfall after checking in received email that the Internet and Wi-Fi was down for the remainder of the weekend, so no work was accomplished and most importantly, no opening day college football on TV.

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

We have stayed at Stuart's "Meadow View" 4 tiimes now, and it suits us well. Quiet and back from the road, in a beautiful setting. Acommodation is basic but very nice. We have been very pleased.

San went out of her way to welcome our family, who made day visits. The rooms were stocked with thoughtful little things we might need, and we enjoyed the large library in the family room. We were invited to roam the property and enjoy the lake with our kids. She was very fun to visit with. It felt like a cozy little cabin with a beautiful view. Little problems were dealt with quickly. We won't hesitate to book again!

Our family loves our time on the farm! The apartment feels homey and private. It’s perfect for our family of four. Our kids love exploring the farm, finding all the swings, playing princes and princesses near the castle, and feeding the horses. This is a great place for a relaxing getaway for the family. Good location for enjoying nearby parks and trails while also having a relatively short drive to Greenville and Asheville. This was our family’s second trip to Melodie’s farm and we hope to be back again sometime. Melodie and her family are more than gracious hosts and provide a warm and welcoming environment.

Great stay at Connestee falls. Loved the views of the lake from the house and the great hiking trails nearby. Lake is stocked with fish and the kids had a lot of luck fishing. Hot tub has a great lake view for enjoying at night

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We loved the pool and the grankids loved it too. The cottage was clean , comfy, and cozy. The cottage was very peaceful and private, located on a dead end road. We highly recommend a stay . Will book again.

The perfect place to spend a couple weeks nearby my family that live in the area. I even hosted them all here for Christmas.

Great place! So beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. In peaceful Sherwood Forest. Right at hiking trails and lake. Responsive host, comfortable bed, nice kitchen set up. Would definitely stay there again.

My daughter and grandson loved the place, the host was so friendly and easy to communicate with. Very responsive. The place was really cute and charming, and they loved that the host had even put up a little Christmas tree to welcome them. Wonderful stay!! Thank you so much

B.T. was an excellent host and very attentive and responsive. The Cottage was well accommodated and there is much attention to detail to provide guests with everything they could possibly need. We especially loved having access to the park nearby, the beautiful views and outdoor spaces, and enjoyed playing games provided including Giant Jenga and Cornhole. The mattresses were so comfortable and we took notes, just might have to buy one! Everything was perfect and really appreciated all of the noticeable effort made to make guests beyond comfortable during their stay. Our host responded very quickly regarding any questions and was able to make great suggestions for additional local hikes nearby. There is also a very well crafted notebook regarding all things in the area, including pamphlets, maps, restaurant, hiking info, and more than you can imagine. I really appreciate this attention to detail! Thank you, B.T.! We would love to come back! ❤️
